Inb4 she announces to move to Tidal as well.

So artists would get more royalties though Tidal?

Will the monthly fee be greater or less?

I'm interested in knowing!

They're even giving this an ad? :nooo: May my faves (besides Beyonce) not fall under peer pressure making them join this movement. http://gagadaily.com/uploads/default_pray.gif :judas:

There will be press conference later today.

Also, it will likely be Labels pressure than peer pressure.

I doubt they paid Gaga dust, so there's an actual chance that she said no :udidnt:

All the people in so far are Jay-Zs friends so maybe she wasn't asked yet. If it's true that everyone from Universal moves to Tidal Gaga won't have an option.

She's such a Legend that she refers to herself in the third person

I really don't understand why Madonna is there. It just seems like she's bandwagoning the idea to be "cool".

can you please not, she is just as if not more relevant than most of the other artists there, still selling hundreds of thousand of records and well, i just dont get this comment at all. Why shouldnt she be here?

Unreleated she looks stunning in this ad, i love her with minimal makeup.

Yes, they will, plus they have more creative control with it.

"Spotify says it pays 70% of its revenue to labels — which will amount to about $1 billion this year — but some artists feel they don't get a big enough cut. The streaming service revealed last year that it paid record labels an average of less than a penny per play, and that's just the money going to labels, not the artists. Scott Borchetta, the CEO of Swift's record label Big Machine, told Time on Wednesday that the label earned only $500,000 from domestic streaming on Spotify in the past year. Spotify told Time that the amount the service paid for streams of Swift's music in the past year was actually $2 million if you account for global streams as well as domestic."

So where did the other 1.5 million go you think?

That's probably just because you hate her.

She's there for the same reason as everybody else

You guys, the bloke is obvious troll tho, not his first time? :fan:

Yet more idiot Madonna trolling comments. I swear, she's a big part of the music industry and still going. Must everything be youth related? I'm sure had Paul, Annie Lennox, Cher or others been there, no one would have said a peep but since it's Madonna, oh "hag" "hasbeen" "seeking attention."

Getting to appreciate Gaga is tough when constant hate is thrown at any opportunity from some of her fans. Madonna fans do it as well but gosh, there comes a point where it's tiring and downright childish. I mean, if Madonna bugs you so much, ignore her. Giving her attention just keeps her on top.

The fact that she's STILL the biggest selling and highest grossing female artist of all time says hi. Her billion dollar empire she built for herself also says hi. Her unusual deal with CAA, Live Nation and Interscope that makes her millions every year, even when she's not releasing anything also says hi. Plus, she's actually been close to Jay & Beyonce since 2013. Of course she's there, she was the first big star to be unapologetic about doing smart business.
