Serendipity 7,821
Could please be more aware? it's because of the amount of people, I guess. According to your logic people shouldn't mourn about the Titanic back then, about the Holocaust, about the 9/11, because I guess people die everyday? thisit's the no of people which results in such a media coverage See talent here-->http://bit.ly/2eqeUxK

I'm not saying it's wrong to mourn the people who lost their lives in this accident, or Titanic or any other terrible incident.I just think it's weird that car crashes means less to us when it's just as tragic as any other accident, even if it happens every day, which makes the amount of deaths even bigger. It's horrible when people die and it usually get local media coverage when there was dead (at least here). This is now a plane crash with people of all over Germany/Europe/World of course it gets more coverage.
Giorno Giovanna 3,178
If according to you there's nothing to discuss and you wanna censor people making legitimate points, I guess you should keep the whole thread to yourself next time I'm not meaning any disrespect, in fact I'm making my point out of respect for the victims and their relatives and friends, and out of respect for people who are suffering daily and don't get the littlest bit of world attention. I'd apologize if that wasn't clear but it actually was, so I guess (active?) misinterpretation is to blame here. i get you Didymus, as i was reading your first post i immediately knew that some members where so going to misinterpret what you stated. I had a mental facepalm as i read this thread since they understand the exact opposite of what you wrote. I am german too and this is really tragic, and not offenended at all by your posts We should mourn all lost lives, not just the german ones. このジョルノジョヴァンナ夢がある

liz89 373
Calm down guys! I understand what you all want to say but I don't think that this thread is the right place to discuss those things. I'm so sorry for all the people who have lost a friend or a relative.
