Pure Adrenaline 1,518 Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 maybe if they didn't put all the rap awards in the pre-telecast and at least have left Best Rap Album/Song in the main show it would have driven more hip-hop fans and cut out those cringe-worthy performances in general it was pretty boring if it wasn't for Gaga/Rihanna I wouldn't bother watching it basically the press room was more entertaining for the most part than the actual show. When **** gets nominated, people don't want to watch. You had people like Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor competing in top categories. Their nominations this year reflected only a very small pool of music over the last year. Plus a majority of their performances were such a snooze. The only ones worth watching were Ed Sheerans, Lady Gaga's, and Hozier/Annie Lennox. I mean, I love Sia but we've heard Chandelier live plenty of times and seen Maddie dance to it. And did we really need to hear Happy again? After all the times we've been subjected to it??
