i did almost nothing today until like 9 pm and i started studying for a test on Wednesday, i didn't go to uni either and i dont have classes tomorrow.

Its just like normal stuff I gotta deal with, but this was the first time I was expect to deal with it all myself. 

So I was supposed to start at 11, but the main boss, lets call him B, asked If I could clock in at 10 (when I got there) so I'm like sure. Now meanwhile I'm supposed to help people find stuff, choose what to buy, also take it up to the front for them if they are old.

Today I had to even carry someone's stuff to their car. Now when all this guest service stuff is happening I still have to be stocking shelves. What is SUPPOSED to happen is that when they call on the walkie for these things, people are supposed to respond, but today they weren't. So I kept stepping in to do the guest service stuff. 

Another thing slowing me down was they kept putting clothes on my tubs, I don't do clothes at all, and they're sections are not in order so its near impossible to place stuff in that section so that ate up a lot of my time too. 

So I skipped my first break (ended up skipping my second break too) and went to lunch at about 1:50. Now when I got back at 2:20 I was working on my latest pull when I get called to the back by a LOD, or leader on duty, lets call him D. Now D in my book already is a shady hoe, so I don't like him too much. Anyway when I get to the back, theres like 8 tubs FULL of stuff to be stocked and I'm like x.x. And he isn't happy, he basically was like, you need to move faster. Ima have people help you, but you were supposed to do this buy yourself. He said, each tub should take you 15 minutes, not two hours.

And to myself I'm like you want to me:

Help b---hes find stuff
Help b---hes ring out
Help b---hes carry **** to their car
Answer the phones (which there is 8 in the section of the store I'm responsible for) 
ALL while keeping the store stocked 

Oh (and heres the main part that bothered me) he says and I quote "You can't leave until this is done"  Now the fact that I had to stay didn't bother me, because as long I was still on the clock and getting paid, I didn't mind. But remember that for later. 

But anyway now begins the MAD dash to get all this **** put away. I turned my Walkie all the way down. Sped by guests and/or gave really lazy help, and was focusing on scanning **** and putting **** away. But still people was trying to stop me and I was just overwhelmed. Hence, the almost cried part. It was just too much for the good sis. I was supposed to leave at 6:30 and by 6:25 there was only one tub left and I was like good, let me just do this last one and Ill be on my merry way. But this last one had EVERYthing on it. Toys, food, paper goods, aluminium foil, ****ing BED sheets, pots, pans. So I'm going through it, and at 7:15 I'm almost done. And down the way I see B(the main boss) talking to D, and D tells me to go to a private channel on the walkie. 

And he precedes to tell me, (in front B) Your shift was over at 6:30, you shouldn't really stay late, unless you tell a LOD. Now the non-confrontational me, was just like okay, I'm almost done with this last pull. But the inu inside my head was like.... THIS MOTHER ****ER....this ***** TOLD me to stay until the pulls were cleared, and now in front of his boss he wants to change his tune...like **** this, **** this store, and **** this LOD. So I put my last 3 items away, and went outside to wait for the bus.

damn i feel bad for you, i hate when **** like that happens x.x people are so s--tty too.

You did what you could. :shrug: I mean, that sounds like a lot of tasks for only one person. That must have sucked. Knowing myself, I would have probably had a meltdown and quit the job before the end of the day haha.  I'm not good at dealing with very stressful situations. :emma: 

 for not going off on that guy. Are you going to look for other jobs while you're still working there or do you think you'll be fine at that place?

That sucks. I think you did the best you could of done given the circumstances. From what I've read you didn't do anything wrong tbh.

My sister was like I should have said something to him, like and the what? Lost my job :emma: Girl its called picking your battles. Cause really I'm not mad at him, I was just annoyed at the situation. And just like "really, n!gga" lol.

I also found it odd he made it seem like I was being done a favor with getting help with pulls when last week I was helping with pulls when I wasn't the main pusher. And b---h I'm still new lol. 

And this job is seasonal, so they might ask me to stay, might not. But if I don't get faster at pulls, they probably won't.

I think I just gotta make sure I don't fall behind and it won't get so overwhelming.

I hope more people are on the schedule on Wednesday. Cause 2 people working half the store aint cutting it. 

And I think for now on, I'm just take clothes out of the tubs, because it takes way to long to find their spot. Literally it takes 20 minutes to find out where to put a sweater because the shelves have no order to them. And I'm not even supposed to worry about that part of the store.
