@Sister thank you, I have to listen those later tonight with my headphones!

That thread "dumbest lyrics" makes me appreciate Ville's poetry so much :air:

and it's funny how most people quote the fave of the person who said Ville can't sing. :air:

The third episode of HBTV marks the debut of the episodes with a theme, and the theme today is something that Ville and co. knows a lot: COVERS!

During more than 20 years it was possible to hear versions ranging from the classic Chris Isaak even an amazing version of Backstreet Boys. John Wins shows a TOP 10 of the main covers, plus a TOP 5 of covers made by fans and even a cover done by the team of HBTV.

There is no turning back
From this unending path of mine
Serpentine and black
It stands before my eyes
To hell and back
It will lead me once more
It's all I have as I stumble in and out of grace

I walk through the gardens
Of dying light
And cross all the rivers
Deep and dark as the night
Searching for a reason
Why time would've passed us by

With every step I take
The less I know myself
And every vow I break
On my way towards your heart
Countless times I've prayed
For forgiveness
But gods just laugh at my face
And this path remains
Leading me into solitude's arms

I see through the darkness
My way back home
The journey seems endless
But I'll carry on
The shadows will rise
And they will fall
And our night drowns in dawn

Amidst all the tears there's a smile
All angels greet with an envious song
One look into stranger's eyes
And I know where I belong

I walk through the gardens
Of dying light
And cross all the rivers
Deep and dark as the night
Searching for a reason
Why time would've passed us by

I see through the darkness
My way back home
The journey seems endless
But I'll carry on
The shadows will rise
And they will fall
And our night drowns in dawn

The Shadows
They rise and and they fall
Yeah
And our night drowns in dawn

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

oh I'm such a flop. :emma: So Mark Thwaite is a guitarist and he has solo album coming out right?

I like the videos you posted, especially the Mission one.

Ask him on FB what it's all about please. I don't use mine at all.  @Sister

HIM
AT THE HOLLOW
DJ JUSSI69

On New Year’s Eve HIM, At The Hollow and DJ Jussi69 turn Tavastia & Semifinal into the garden of diabolical love. For one magical night we are promised a coming of age like no other, a Sweet Sixteen party bittersweet & electric. The event marks the end of a grueling world tour that for two and a half years has taken HIM all over the globe. It will also be the first hometown gig for the band with new drummer Jukka ‘Kosmo’ Kröger. All in all, it’s time for an intimate celebration among friends. Friends like At The Hollow , a Helsinki trio consisting of guitar, double bass and percussion, that travels musically between purity and death. Or DJ Jussi69, who has been promised ‘a virtual carte blanche’ to be his own flamboyant self. And, of course, you guys!

YAS They are a great band too! I bet that will happen, wish I could be there. I am already jealous of those that will be there. Life is just not fair sometimes, not for travel and space and time!

So, I just wrote Mark Gemini Thwaite, lol. He wrote me directly back, but no telling, of course.:laughga:Here's what I wrote and what he responded back. I just asked via my sister's facebook, instead of making one just for that.

Hi! I am a fan of so much of the music and bands that you have been in or that you have been affiliated with. I am super excited to hear about your current project with Ville Valo. He is just my favorite singer Ever! What song are you two doing together? It is a cover song, right? Or at least, what artist is the song originally by? lol. At least a hint!?! Will we get to hear it soon and for certain? You are superbly talented!
