It is no more "mutilation" than piercing ears or getting tattoos, and more importantly it has been a part of the Abrahamic religions and those entire cultures for thousands of years. It has been completely normalized. It doesn't disable the child or cause any lasting damage. Countless millions have lived their whole lives as happily circumcised men. Bad example! Circumcision is one example of genital mutilation that I would include in this, but there are also religious reasons why women have their clitorus hood and clitoras removed. Circumcision without medical indication, of a person who is unable to provide consent violates fundamental medical-ethical principles. It is an irreversible and painful procedure that may cause serious complication. Unfortunately they didn't get that choice, their foreskins were surgically removed and their penis was mutilated at a time where they could not give consent to the procedure. Circumcising slices off more of a male’s sensitivity than is normally present in all ten fingertips. It is a myth that circumcision is cleaner, healthier and protects against disease. If you regularly clean your foreskin there shouldn't be any medical problems. Adult men who want circumcision for themselves should be advised per proper informed consent that penile sensitivity will be reduced on average by a factor of four. Men should also be advised that circumcision will not prevent the transmission of s-xually transmitted diseases, including HIV/AIDS. Circumcision is an unnecessary, irreversible procedure that has risks involved and leads to a drastic reduction of penile sensitivity. You compare circumcision to tattoos, you wouldn't tattoo a baby or child. You would wait until they are an adult and can make an informed decision themselves. Because, that is not how **** works. If God hated gays, I don't think we would've been this way in the first place. I am sick of people who think the solutions to things like this is to kill, just kill. I've barely ever seen an incident like this where the word "kill" did not appear. Maybe if this IDIOCY didn't spread as much as aids, then the body virus would probably be gone by now. If those type people invade the community I live in and start at me for being gay, I will get mad, and I WILL fight for the hate-less lives that we all DESERVE. Anyone who says "HERE'S THE SOLUTION! KILL THAT PERSON! KILL THEM!" seriously is insane and needs help figuring out that that kind of talk should not be tolerated ANYWHERE. If you think about it, the thing that's the worst with this world isn't Aids or Ebola. Its the fact that so many people on Earth decide death is a solution for everything. Take this case: The latest incident related to the AIDS scare happened this week in Tulsa when city officials drained a municipal swimming pool used for a private party given by a homos-xual group, Oklahomans for Human Rights. Residents living near the pool at 3003 E 56 complained about the possibility of contracting acquired immune deficiency syndrome an incurable malady closely linked to gay men. The Tulsa Parks Department then decided to drain the pool and disinfect it. Representatives of Tulsa's homos-xual community said Tuesday that the pool was drained out of "ignorance" and magnifies many of the misconceptions about how AIDS is transmitted. "We're insulted by this whole thing. It's a slap in the face to all of us," said John Willis, a leader of the Tulsa homos-xual community.
