Yanko 9,860 Posted March 23, 2015 Share Posted March 23, 2015 Vance Joy has reached a massive milestone on the ARIA Singles Chart.With his single ‘Riptide’ occupying the #73 position this week, the Melbourne singer-songwriter becomes the first Australian artist, and just the third in ARIA Chart History, to have a single spend 100 weeks in the top 100.There are two singles ahead of ‘Riptide’ as the longest-running top 100 hits: ‘Poker Face’ by Lady Gaga (#1 Nov. ’08) spent 106 weeks in the top 100, while ‘I Gotta Feeling’ by Black Eyed Peas (#1 Jun. ’09) spent 105 weeks inside the 100.‘Poker Face’ was the first to reach the 100-week mark on the chart of 6 September 2010.
