Warner Bros. has pushed back Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born from its May 2018 release date. The remake will now hit theatres during award season on October 5th, 2018. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the decision was made after executives saw a locked cut of the movie.
The movie, which marks Cooper's directorial and Gaga's big screen debut, is based on William Wellman's 1937 film of the same name starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. In the pic, Cooper plays Jackson Maine, a country music star on the brink of decline when he discovers a talented unknown named Ally, played by Gaga.
Gaga has recently finished recording an original soundtrack album for the movie with her longtime collaborator DJ White Shadow (Born This Way, ARTPOP, "The Cure.")
