Not saying that it’ll be the ASIB tour, but she will use the film to promote her Residency, while using the show ( at least its first leg) to promote the album (i believe ASIB will be a Gaga EP/LP). The only part of the puzzle that doesn’t fit is the studio recordings with DJWS that suggests pop musical leanings. It’ll be bizarre for Gaga to release two projects within the span of three months considering Gaga lives her character during whatever period she is in. 1. Will a pop project be due in Q2 2018 for Gaga to re-establish her presence in pop music? 2. Will she not promote the ASIB music project as much? This will be a stupid decision because the promotional budget for the film would be far beyond what a record company can afford. Plus , the window between ASIB and the Residency is like two months... Having a film carrying her name as first billing + promo for her album is unheard of since the early 00s. Gaga and Bobby should milk this 3. Is ASIB LG6? Does she have something up her sleeve to make the ASIB project more palatable for the streaming market? One era with pop music and a film tie in. A small era. That would help promote the Vegas show and she already said she's interesting in releasing an album of unreleased tracks. Bionic and Burlesque Soundtrack were released in the same year.
