I agree that it deserves to be counted, especially in the context of the Hot 100. But to have an individual song count towards album "sells" is ridiculous in my opinion. Unless a person steamed the entire album that's the only way that should be counted and it should be a small fraction given that you can stream album's completely for free. That's not the same as investing in a album or song. Streaming for me is just an indication of popularity, but it's inflating the stats of these artist making them appear bigger than they are. Anyone can gain popularity.
