Apparently it’s not insignificant when people (including people with PTSD) have said they are tired of people using that word. Anyway, he’s a douche and used Gaga as an object to take pictures with and have as promo.

Not really. As a household name, she will be treated like a star when someone notice her in public. These people didn’t noticed who she is until she took off her sunnies. 

The same way if you shop in the mall and you are well dressed, you will be treated with care, than ignored cos they think you don’t afford anything judging by what you wear that time. It should not happen but some stores or some store employees have that kind of policy or behaviour.

Keep in mind the way Chris shot this thing. He was doing it himself with, like, one camera. Plus, that was in NYC, right? You could easily think this was some YouTube stunt. Gaga changes a lot so if you aren't avidly following her you wouldn't necessarily know what she looks like and it's NYC. People wear weird stuff all the time lol
