She does absolutely look a lot like Inez, it's actually quite insane, but the first photo was from the set of the You and I video.... She hadn't worn her hair jet black like that before and the closest look in the video was this

But it's a different wig... I don't think it's a coincidence that she rocked up to the set with black hair and I don't think it's a coincidence that for V mag she chose to wear her hair black again.

I remember Inez and Vinoodh even posted a picture on their instagram of that original photo callin Gaga and Inez twins. Judging by her previous imitations, I don't think it's coincidence

i think there was an interview or an article or something during the ARTPOP era where she explained that it's about exchanging creative energy and vibrating on the same artistic level. we know she considers herself to be the master of the art of fame and, in turn, i think that she considers herself to be the student of the fellow artist with whom she coexists during a certain time interval.

I don't see the shade. OP clearly expressed an interest in why she is doing that.

I think I've made a similar thread in the past - I don't think anyone is accusing Gaga of ripping off Larry King, like why would you even? But she did come to his show dressed like him

To me it seems obvious that she is doing this on purpose, it seems to me like some artistic statement. There is a reason she is imitating these people, I think the question is fair to ask.

I actually think it's very interesting and I don't think it's a bad thing whatsoever. 

I mean this woman met Queen Elizabeth II dressed as Queen Elizabeth

She performed Cher's Bang Bang with her Cher like hair:

She went full on Bowie for her tribute

She went all Frank Sinatra for her Frank Sinatra tribute

She literally even wore Tony's suit on the C2C tour

I don't think there are any nefarious undertones to this, I don't think the intention is to rip anyone off or simply copy them. It's pretty blatant and I think it has some purpose.
