scrappy 302
Hey I discovered something curious that might pick you up if you think that BTW singles were floppy ;) Recently the charts have been dominated by Katy Perry and Adele but the fact is that Gaga is not the only 'victim' of that fact :D I calculated a mean of peak Hot 100 places achieved by all the singles from recent pop albums: Beyonce's 4: 34 Rihanna's LOUD: 17.66 Britney Spears' FEMME FATALE: 16.5 Rihanna's TALK THAT TALK (I know that WFL was a great success but still the mean is): 15.3 Lady GaGa's BORN THIS WAY: 9.8 LET'S REJOICE!

rebornrocks 1
That's nice. I think, however, it'd be more accurate if you calculated the average of each songs positions on their weeks on the chart, and then take those 5 averages and create an average out of that. :)
scrappy 302
Teenage Dream: 1.333 I know but I said that the charts were dominated by KP and Adele :)

rebornrocks 1
How is Loud so low? I thought most of the singles slayed California King Bed and Man Down peaked at around 55 and 86, I think. EDIT: Nope, it was CKB at 37, and MD at 59.
MattyMonster 3
Man Down and California King Bed kinda flopped :P Oh, but still surprised that it dragged the other singles down. I feel like Rihanna and Katy were the only things I heard on the radio last year.

Kidz Boop 0
Will offend Katy Perry fans: Releasing remixes and slashing the price of your single to 0.69 cents will obvs make you chart higher. Adele has been promoting 3 songs for 3 years. I'm pretty sure her lyrics for 'Someone Like You' is implanted in my brain.
