Tanner 810
Paparazzi is Gaga's most iconic performance and one of the best performances I've ever seen, period. You & I and Applause were both great in their own ways, but they are not even comparable to Paparazzi.

Bebe 16,562
it was... but its not comparable to Paparazzi or You and I performance.... Paparazzi was the most epic live performance i've ever seen by a pop artist.. it was just mind blowing saying applause> Paparazzi makes me really question the taste of the fans here i understand the love for Paparazzi, but to me it's a close second. The Applause performance was just so different. It was an art performance. Portraying herself as the canvas, the a capella, getting changed on stage, cycling through her evolution and getting 'booed' by the audience until she finished her performance and everyone applauds for her. One of the most visually interesting and boundary pushing performances she has created. Watch Paparazzi and Applause VMA back to back. Paparazzi was a shocking and iconic performance but Applause is ahead imo.

Mills 446
The first ones are always the most memorable, so my vote goes to Paparazzi, which also happens to be one of my top favourite Gaga songs! It had the mystique factor, and it was also at that time in late 2009 when I started to become really interested on her.
