Update: Lady Gaga took to her Instagram page on Tuesday evening to comment on the reports that her and Taylor have split. "Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates," she told fans. "Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We're just like everybody else and we really love each other."
Earlier: Oh no! Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have ended their engagement and five-year relationship. The 30-year-old singer-songwriter and 35-year-old actor parted ways earlier this month, multiple sources report.
Fans have noticed that Gaga hasn't been wearing her engagement ring for weeks and was absent from Taylor's birthday party in Lancaster last week.
"Regardless if it was mutual, or foul play is to blame I really hope they both do okay on this tough time. They both are talented, kind, thoughtful people and they may have just not meant to be together," a fan wrote on the Gaga Daily forums, while another added: "I hope Gaga channels all her negative energy into her music."

Taylor and Gaga met on the set of her "Yoü and I" music video back in 2011 and became engaged in early 2015. "He's the first man that I have dated that, when I sing onstage, he cries," Gaga said of their relationship just months before Taylor proposed. "That means more to me than anything. He's supportive of everything I do. He loves me from the inside out, and he is completely blind to the way that I dress, my creative process as it is."
