Taylor Swift has praised Lady Gaga and her career versatility. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the 29-year-old pop icon, who presented Gaga with a Golden Globe for "Shallow" in January, shared that she admires her ability to "be so capable in so many different worlds."

"When people think she’s gonna go one way, she goes the exact opposite," Taylor said. "She did that Tony Bennett record and won a Grammy. And then she pivots and goes and wins a Golden Globe for American Horror Story: Hotel. Then she pivots and does Joanne. Then she pivots and wins an Oscar for A Star Is Born. That’s so cool, that ability to be so capable in so many different worlds. There’s so much dexterity to her career."

Gaga and Taylor first met at the 2013 American Music Awards. "I can't say anything bad about her," Gaga told Howard Stern. "What she doesn't know is, her and I were sitting next to each other and she goes, 'Oh my God! I love ARTPOP. I love 'Applause,' and it's my favorite song.'"

She continued: "I was thinking, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah. This chick is full of s--t.' But then my buddy called me, Brandon, who's my stylist, and she was doing a shoot and he was styling her… He goes, 'Taylor Swift is in here blasting ARTPOP so loud, and she is dancing and she's posing.' I thought to myself, 'I like this girl.' You know why? Because she said the same thing to my face that she said behind my back."

Pop legend Madonna has mentioned Lady Gaga in a new interview. Speaking to Vogue UK, the "Express Yourself" singer dismissed the reports that she and Gaga had been enemies, blaming it on society's tendency to pit women against each other.

"People got very excited about the thought of Lady Gaga and myself as enemies, when we never were enemies," Madonna said.

Rumors of a feud started flying back in 2011, when Madonna called Gaga's hit single "Born This Way" a "reductive" copy of her 1989 song "Express Yourself." She told The Daily Beast, "I thought, 'What a wonderful way to redo my song.' I mean, I recognised the chord changes." Madonna went on to perform a medley of "Express Yourself" and "Born This Way" during her 2012 MDNA World Tour.

Madonna and Lady Gaga were last spotted together at an Oscars after party in February. "Don't Mess with Italian Girls," Madonna wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the two smiling during an impromptu photoshoot.

"I have mad respect for a lot of people. I love a lot of different artists out there," Katy said. "Of course I've been a longtime fan of Madonna, but you know, I love Gaga so much. I think she’s such a beautiful, mystical, magical woman. And I’d love to share the stage with her at some time."

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's remake of A Star Is Born just received some serious praise from Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker Sean Penn, saying that it's the "most beautiful" movie he'd seen in years.

"I just saw, what should be a disaster. I saw a remake, the third remake, of A Star Is Born," he said during an interview with Marc Maron. "And if I could do that today, what he did with that story, I'd be staying in the game. But I don't have the perspective, and maybe not the skill sets. This is one of the most beautiful, fantastic, it's the best, and most importantly, commercial film I have seen in so many years."

"The two of them are miracles in it," he added.

Penn isn't the only famous name who was invited to an early showing of A Star Is Born. Earlier this month, he star of the previous remake of the Hollywood classic Barbra Streisand told Billboard that she'd seen the upcoming movie and it's "very, very good."

A Star Is Born is due out in theatres on October 5th, 2018.

Kylie Minogue says she would love to do a collaboration with Lady Gaga. Speaking to Graham Norton, the Australian pop icon revealed that she wants to do more duets with female artists and thinks that it would have to be on a track that would live up to her previous collaborations.

"I think all of the duets I've done over the years have just kind of come to me, so I'm just in this habit of not actively reaching out to people," she said. "But I don't do many duets with ladies, so I would love to sing with Gaga, it would be incredible."

Kylie continued: "I think it can happen just really casually sometimes, just if you have mutual friends, or you've just got a project that feels like that person will be right for. I think it will be hard to beat Nick Cave 'Where the Wild Roses Grow', and people still love 'Kids' with Robbie as well, and then 100 Degrees' with my sister Dannii, so there's a lot."

Kesha performed a cover of Lady Gaga's latest single "Til It Happens to You" at the Humane Society Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Joined on stage by the song's co-author Diane Warren, the pop superstar sang the touching ballad in frond of a star-studded crowd at Paramount Studios. Kesha, who Gaga has been very supportive of recently amidst her legal battle with producer Dr. Luke, said that the song was "very close to my heart for obvious reasons."

Lady Gaga made a new friend in the form of pop superstar Jennifer Lopez at this year's Golden Globe Awards. In a new interview with Extra, J.Lo gushed over Gaga, telling Mario Lopez that she's "a nice person" and her success is well-deserved.

"Let me tell you something about Gaga, she is such a sweetheart," Jennifer said of meeting Mother Monster at the Golden Globes after-party. "She sent me flowers after that, just saying, 'It was great hanging out with you.' She's a nice girl, she's a New York girl like myself. She was overwhelmed with the fact she won, it was very well-deserved; it was gracious, there is a graciousness about her. I really like her, I really like what she stands for, kind of like coloring out the lines and being outside the box, being accepted. She's a nice person and I'm really happy for her success."

Earlier this month, Lady Gaga shared a picture of her with J.Lo and actress Kate Hudson, saying: "There's no one better than these two ladies right here. Made me laugh and filled me with love all night."

The pop stars first crossed paths when Lady Gaga co-wrote two songs – "Hypnotico" and "Invading My Mind" – for J.Lo's 2011 album Love?.

Lorde says she has rediscovered her love for Lady Gaga in a series of tweets praising Mother Monster's 2009 performance of "Viva La Vida" as "one of the greatest moments ever."

"I think Lady Gaga's Live Lounge from 2009 where she sang 'Poker Face' and 'Viva la Vida' is one of the greatest pop moments ever," the young pop star wrote on Saturday evening. "I remember watching that aged 12 or 13 and feeling totally blessed, like I had been given something very special. The hat! The teacup!"

She continued: "Seeing a young woman so confident in her skill and the power of her star was/is the most inspiring feminist badass punk thing ever. And she's forgetting the words to 'Viva la Vida,' and making them up, but it's perfect, and 12-year-old me is falling in love all over again."

Back in 2013, Lady Gaga named Lorde her favorite new artist and praised the New Zealand-born singer for her artistic integrity. "I would say my favourite new artist right now is Lorde," she told Ryan Seacrest. "She has her own style and she does her own thing, and I like it when I see someone who has a strong sense of themselves."

"My favorite thing about working with Lady Gaga is really just the sheer level of creativity she brings to the table. And she's really one of the most intelligent people I've ever known. Her intelligence is equaled by her heart," he said.

Evan Peters says he was surprised by how down-to-earth his American Horror Story: Hotel co-star Lady Gaga is. In a recent interview, the actor praised Gaga for her ability to stay humble and approachable while being "otherworldly creative."

Speaking to Details magazine, he explained: "She's on a higher plane whether it is music or fashion and now it's acting. She has immersed herself in the artistic lifestyle. And she has stayed true to herself, which is something that most people can't do — the people surrounding them don't let them do it. But she has surrounded herself with people that only accept her for who she is. So it has been enlightening to watch her and see her do her thing, her creative process. I have to say it is inspiring and very cool."

Peters also confessed his love for Lady Gaga's music and revealed that his favorite Gaga track is "Alejandro."

"It's an underrated song," Peter added. "I like to bust that one out because it is more under the radar and totally badass. She has really fun music. When you are out dancing and her song comes on, you're like: 'What's up! Hell, yeah!'"

American Horror Story: Hotel returns on January 6th.

Selena Gomez sent some love to Lady Gaga at last night's Billboard Women in Music event. The young pop sensation said she was excited to watch Gaga accept her "Woman of the Year" award because she is "insanely talented" and has always been nice to her.

"Honestly, I love Lady Gaga," Selena said at the show's red carpet. "She's always been so kind to me and I wanted to give this big speech because I think she's insanely talented and really good to women."

Gaga has indeed been supportive of Gomez throughout her career. Back in 2012, she tweeted that Selena's "Love You Like a Love Song" was the best pop song of the year, and was later spotted dancing to her hit "Come & Get It" at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

The 23-year-old pop superstar told i-D magazine that Lady Gaga is among the people he looks up to because of her "unapologetic artistry."

"I look up to Lady Gaga," he said. "She makes an impact without being afraid of anything. Unapologetic artistry is the best. You respect the people who are moving and shaking and not listening to anybody's naysaying. That's the kind of artist I hope to be. With the Brothers, it wasn't always very human. Now I say what I want."

This isn't the first time Nick showed his love for Mother Monster — back in 2011, he performed an acoustic cover of Gaga's hit single "The Edge of Glory," which she called "dreamy."

Bruce Dickinson of the legendary Iron Maiden has responded to Lady Gaga's comment that she would rather be called the next Maiden than the next Madonna.

"I think she's great, and I agree with her," Dickinson told Corus Radio. "She's not the next Madonna, she's way better than that. First of all, she can sing, she's got a belter of a voice. She's a really good instrumentalist. And, I mean, she's got a great sense of drama and anybody that could turn up to an awards ceremony dressed as a bacon sandwich gets my vote. I mean, she's great."

In her recent interview for CR Fashion Book, Lady Gaga said of Iron Maiden: "They're one of the greatest rock bands in history, in my opinion. Some people really don't know the importance of metal and the scope of it. Those guys were filling stadiums, and they still are. And it's because of the culture of the music, the poetry that's so powerful, that whenever the fans come together, they unite in the essence of what Iron Maiden is all about. I always used to say to people, when they would say, 'Oh, she's the next Madonna.' No, I'm the next Iron Maiden."

Lady Gaga has been a long-time Iron Maiden fan, telling Rolling Stone back in 2011 that her Maiden concert experience had been life-changing. "I went to see Iron Maiden the other night, and I actually watched the show from a box," she said. "And we were laughing as we walked it was me and my two best friends as we were walking into the box, we had a bunch of drinks, we were all going, 'This is so not metal, to be in a box.' So, we watched most of the show from the box and then we were gonna go meet the band. And when we got there, I grabbed Lady Starlight and I said, 'Let's go,' and we just booked it into the center of the crowd. And we were dancing and singing and everyone was just so into it. And it was one of the first times I've been able to just be at a rock concert in a long time."

She continued: "People did recognize me, but it was so kind and warm and awesome. I mean, Iron Maiden is all about, 'We don't care who our fans are. We love everybody.' I guess what I'm trying to say is the devotion of the fans moving in unison, pumping their fists, watching the show, when I see that, I see the paradigm for my future and the relationship I want to have with my fans. Iron Maiden's never had a hit song, and they tour stadiums around the world, and their fans live, breathe and die for Maiden, and that is my dream. That is my dream. And not only that, but when we got into the crowd, there was no pretension. I'm a pop singer I didn't know what it would be like in a crowd of Maiden fans; everybody was hugging me, high-fiving, fistpumps in the air 'Oh, it's so cool you're at Maiden.' Jumping and dancing I mean, it was like absolute no judgment, no prejudice, freedom and love for music. It doesn't matter who you are; you don't need to know anything about music to love it. And it was just so It was just awesome Maiden changed my life."

Lady Gaga's producer DJ White Shadow, who worked with Mother Monster on her hits such as "Applause," "Do What U Want," "Born This Way," as well as many fan favorites, including "Bloody Mary" and "ARTPOP," sat down with A Drink With for an awesome interview where they talked about his career as a DJ, making music, and, of course, Lady Gaga. Read the excerpt below and head over to ADrinkWith.com for the full interview.

On the best party that happened because of his career:
I was in London when Chris Martin and Jay Z performed for the closing ceremony at the Paralympics in London. Afterwards they had a party at The Arts Club, so I went with Gaga. First of all, I love Jay Z as an artist and as a human being. He's a fantastic individual. I was so excited to go, I very rarely get excited about stuff, and I was super excited to go to this particular thing. Gaga is an incredible accommodator for when I get excited about things. She was like, "I'm going to sit here, you sit there, and Jay you sit there." So I'm sitting right next to Jay Z and he's pouring drinks for people. I'm sitting there and it's me, Gaga, Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna, Rick Ross maybe and then Jay. I'm sitting there at the table with 80 people and I'm thinking, "This is the best day!" They're all drinking and I'm just trying to talk to Jay Z the whole time. We're talking about cool stuff, super cool, and we're just having drinks.

The music was stale. It was terrible. Gaga says to me, like a d--k, "Give them your phone, let them play a mixtape." I said, "I don't have any mixtapes." And then Jay said, "You're a DJ dude, you don't have any mixtapes?" So I went to my SoundCloud and I had some trap mix on my phone and I gave it to the security guard who plugged it in. It was like Chief Keef, dirty, Soulja Boy and gutter ass hip-hop. It changed the whole vibe of the party. Everybody put up trap hands and was turning up. I was like, "This is the best day of my whole entire life. Jay Z's getting turnt up to my mixtape; I'm fucking drinking whiskey and hanging out with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow," and Gaga turns and says, "We gotta go." We ended up leaving because she was on tour, but that was the best 45 minutes of my life.

On his special relationship with Lady Gaga:
I think the reason why it went well at first was because I was prepared for it to go terribly. I expected it to go terribly and it didn't. When we met I really genuinely liked her as a person. The last couple experiences I had with female artists weren't good for me. I didn't click with the person necessarily. I'm usually not a negative thinker like that. I think I had a couple of punches right before I got there and then it turned out great. I loved her work ethic and I didn't know she was talented when I met her … I was super shocked in a great way and as things continued it wasn't so much about making money or making a product it was just about hanging out, having fun and being creative. It was a really real environment for me. We didn't force a friendship. A lot of Hollywood shit is forced friendships. You might have a TV show together and say you're buddies, but you don't care about that person. I genuinely care about her, she's like my sister. I love her very much. She's an awesome person, we've known each other for a long time. Getting a call to work with her now, I feel the exact same thing I felt the first time working with her. She's a great, super talented and awesome human being.

On making music with Lady Gaga:
There are so many stories. Some of those records, I have 100 different versions. I have things that were ideas for singles that turned out to be stuff that we didn't use. I think that every song has an interesting history to it. Every song we've ever made together we've been on the road together. She's at her best writing when she's doing shows, interacting with people every day, writing backstage, writing in the hotel and writing on the bus. Some of the stuff comes from literal conversations. We'll be drinking and somebody says something and she'll be like, "Oh, shit!" and write it down and then it becomes part of a great song.

On creating "Do What U Want" with R. Kelly:
"Do What U Want" is the weirdest song creation of all history. It's my very favorite song that I've ever done. Gaga did the whole thing by herself and then it was right before we were closing the record up– we literally had to turn it in in two weeks– and I heard the song and I heard something that R. Kelly had recently done. I thought I should call him and see if he would do a feature on it, just see what it would sound like. I asked her and said, "If I called Rob [R. Kelly] and asked him if he would do this, would you be interested in that happening?" She said, "Yeah." I called him, he didn't answer. I called his manager, his manager answered and I was like, "Can you get Rob on the phone?" He said, "He's asleep." I said, "I got something good, wake his ass up." Literally 10 minutes later he called me back and I told him we had Gaga in the studio and had a song I really wanted to send him. I said he could do whatever he wanted. He said "Okay," and I sent it to him. We finished a bunch of work in the studio. I went back to my hotel, woke up in the morning and I had it in my email. He had sent it in the morning with all the ad-libs. They were on a tour bus so I have no idea how they did it. I listened to that motherfucker like 25 times in the morning. I didn't even call her in the morning. I listened to it by myself at the Andaz in L.A. and you could see all of Hollywood through that thing.

On partying with Eminem and Jay Z in Detroit:
I saw [Eminem] and Jay Z in Detroit. I did tequila shots with him, Jay Z and Gaga backstage. It was pretty solid. Actually, he didn't do the tequila shot. Jay Z, Gaga and I did the tequila shots. I think he was sober at that point.

In a recent radio interview with Scot Fox of the 97.9 WCPR Rocks station, Rob Halford, frontman of veteran British metal act Judas Priest, discussed meeting Lady Gaga in London and why he would love to collaborate with the "absolutely sensational" pop star.

"I was in a hotel in London the other day and Gaga was two floors above me," Rob said. "Needless to say, security was really, really tight. We didn't really get to see each other again that day, 'cause she was super busy."

He continued: "But let me tell you: that lady is a heavy metal maniac. She loves Priest, she loves Maiden, she loves Motorhead, all of these kinds of heavy metal bands that have been roaring on throughout the decades; she's a big fan of all of them.

"When I met her, I think it was last year in San Diego, where I'm hanging out these days, we immediately bonded. She's just this wonderfully talented lady with a spectacular voice.

"You know, you have to cut through a lot of the visual stuff with Gaga and then get to what her voice is about. For me, as a singer, as a fellow singer, she's absolutely sensational and I would love at some point to do something with her. I don't know if ever that's gonna happen, but it's on my bucket list."

Lady Gaga appeared on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show on Thursday for a revealing one-hour interview in which she discussed her new album Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett and her relationship with Taylor Kinney, and shared a story about meeting pop superstar Taylor Swift at the American Music Awards last year.

Stern asked Mother Monster whether she and Swift were really lovers, as one listener of his radio show claimed. "I don't think she would be into that," Gaga responded, adding: "You know, if she's interested, she can call me."

Gaga continued: "I can't say anything bad about her. What she doesn't know is, her and I were sitting next to each other and she goes, 'Oh my God! I love ARTPOP. I love 'Applause,' and it's my favorite song.' I was thinking, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah.

"He really has a sweetness to him," Mother Monster wrote on Instagram. "He grew up in front of the whole world. I reminded him to not get bothered. Because at the end of the day. He's the boss, and life isn't always Roses. Lots of thorns."
