Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper took to the Oscars stage on Sunday night to perform their hit song "Shallow" together for the first time on television.

"Shallow" is the theme song from Gaga and Cooper's blockbuster A Star Is Born. The track became one of the biggest songs of Gaga's career, topping charts all over the world and earning two Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe.

Lady Gaga stunned on the 2019 Oscars red carpet as she posed for pictures wearing a black Alexander McQueen gown and Tiffany & Co's legendary 128-carat yellow diamond, which hasn't been worn since Audrey Hepburn over half a century ago.

The Tiffany Diamond is one of the largest yellow diamonds ever discovered and has been owned by Tiffany & Co since 1878. The diamond is known to have been worn by only two women: Mrs. Sheldon Whitehouse in 1957 and Audrey Hepburn in 1961.

Lady Gaga stunned on the 2019 Oscars red carpet as she posed for pictures wearing Tiffany & Co's legendary 128-carat yellow diamond, which hasn't been worn since Audrey Hepburn over half a century ago.

The rumors are true: Lady Gaga is launching her own beauty brand! Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, investor Nicole Quinn revealed that her company Lightspeed Venture Partners has invested in Gaga's new project, titled Haus Beauty, which will be launched soon.

"We're doing something with Lady Gaga," she said. "We're excited for our launch because we have got some absolute superstars as part of this company, people that have true expertise in the area. They know she never does anything half-assed."

Quinn added that her company has been in talks with the Haus of Gaga for two years and the A Star Is Born actress is actively involved in the project.

"Asking Gaga many different questions around commitment and time and energy is what actually gave me conviction about the deal because she's so passionate about this," she said. "She spends many hours a day calling not just the management team in the company but everybody, discussing the product and having them over to her house to brainstorm."

Lady Gaga trademarked the name Haus Beauty back in February 2018. The trademark papers revealed that the new company plans to develop products ranging from lipsticks, eyeliners, and eyeshadow to perfumes, massage oils, and even laundry products.

Host Alicia Keys kicked off the 2019 Grammy Awards with the help of special guests Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Alicia Keys, Michelle Obama, and Jennifer Lopez. The ladies appeared on stage to a standing ovation and spoke about the power of music and how it changed their lives.

"They said that I'm weird, that my look, my choices, my sound, that I wouldn't work but music told me not to listen to them," Gaga said. "Music took my ears, took my hands, my voice and my soul, and it led me to all of you and my Little Monsters, who I love so much."

Lady Gaga had a big night at the 2019 Grammy Awards, taking home three awards, including Best Pop/Duo Performance for "Shallow." Gaga used her speech to address the mental health themes of A Star Is Born, and encouraged the audience to take of each other and seek help if they need it.

"I'm so proud to be part of a movie that addresses mental health issues, they're so important," she said. "A lot of artists deal with that. And we got to take care of each other."

She continued: "If you see somebody that is hurting, don’t look away. And if you are hurting, even though it might be hard, try to find that bravery within yourself to dive deep and go tell somebody and take them up in your head with you."

Lady Gaga put a rock'n'roll spin on her monster hit "Shallow" as she performed it at the 61st Grammy Awards on Sunday. Lady Gaga's Joanne is now a Grammy-winning album as the piano version of its title track has won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance.

"A Grammy for Joanne is more than me and my family could ever dream of," Gaga told fans. "I sang that version in one take, and poured my entire life and soul into it. Thank you so much for this gift, I am completely shocked. Second Grammy win of the night, I am so overwhelmed by this kindness."

The piano version of "Joanne," re-titled as "Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?)," was recorded in one take with keyboardist and producer Mark Nilan Jr. ("The Cure") while on the road for the Joanne World Tour. The track and the album were named after Gaga's late aunt Joanne Germanotta who died at the age of 19 due to complications from lupus.

This is Gaga's eighth Grammy win.

Congratulations are in order for Lady Gaga for bagging the BAFTA Award for Best Film Music alongside Bradley Cooper and Mark Ronson, becoming the first woman in the ceremony's 51-year history to win the award.

The award was accepted by Gaga's co-star Bradley Cooper at the show in London as she's currently in Los Angeles getting ready for her performance at the 61st Grammy Awards.

"I can’t believe we just won Best Music BAFTA," Gaga tweeted. "I wish so much I was there but am at the Grammys to show them our love as well. We made a film about music. This means the world to me. Thank you to all our fans, we love you so much, we wouldn’t be here without you."

Lady Gaga lost her other nomination for Best Actress to the British breakout star Olivia Colman. Last month, Gaga made history as the first singer to earn a BAFTA Best Actress nomination since Cher in 1988.

Lady Gaga had a difficult decision to make for this Sunday as two prestigious awards are taking place at two different sides of the pond: the Grammys in Los Angeles and the BAFTAs in London. And now the choice has been made: Gaga will be attending the Grammys, while Bradley will fly to London to go the BAFTAs.

In addition to attending, Lady Gaga will also take the Grammy stage for a performance, Deadline reports. No word yet on which song she will be singing: it would come as no surprise if she plays the smash hit "Shallow," but fans speculate that she may do another A Star Is Born song and save the first television performance of "Shallow" for the Academy Awards.

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 10 in Los Angeles. Lady Gaga is nominated for five awards, four for "Shallow," including record, song, pop duo performance and song written for visual media. Her fifth nomination is in the pop solo performance category for the piano version of "Joanne."

While there was little doubt that the defining soundtrack of the year would be celebrated at Hollywood's biggest night, the Academy has officially confirmed the performance, tweeting simply: "Cooper. The announcement comes amid reports that Gaga refused to sing at the ceremony unless all five Best Original Song nominees are given performance slots. The Academy had reportedly planned to trim the show by spotlighting only two of the nominated songs during the telecast, one of which being "Shallow." According to Deadline, Gaga felt that it was completely unfair to the eliminated songs and informed the Academy that she would't perform if a change wasn't made.

The duo got a chance to rehearse the song live for the first time when Gaga brought Bradley on stage during her ENIGMA show in Las Vegas. "That was terrifying," Cooper said of the impromptu performance. "I just had to like, Zen out and just pray that I wouldn't ruin her show. Because, think about it, she just crushed it or two hours and I thought, 'Please let me just be on pitch.'"

The 91st Academy Awards will be held on 24 February, 2019 at the Dolby theater in Los Angeles.

Lady Gaga stood up for her fellow Best Original Song Oscar nominees following reports that the Academy was planning trim the show by spotlighting only two of the nominated songs during the telecast. Those songs were Gaga's "Shallow" from A Star Is Born and "All the Stars" from Black Panther, which also happen to be the only two nominees to reach the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. 

Gaga, who is also nominated for Best Actress for her role as Ally, felt that it was completely unfair to the eliminated songs and informed the Academy that she would't perform if a change wasn't made, Deadline reports. And it looks like the producers listened—the Academy tweeted last night that all five nominated songs will be performed during the telecast.

Live performances of the Best Original Song contenders have been a long-standing tradition at the Oscars. Reports of the Academy's decision to cut three songs out of its telecast were met with a widespread backlash and criticisms that it sends a message to the other films that they are not going to win.

Lady Gaga got in a heated exchange with one of Dr. Luke's laywers while being deposed as part of the ongoing legal battle between Kesha and the producer, real name Lukasz Gottwald. The newly unsealed deposition, which took place in September 2017, began with Gaga's attorney explaining that the singer was experiencing PTSD reactions as a survivor of sexual abuse before the hearing.

"I just want everyone to understand that, as she has publicly stated in other contexts, as a sex abuse survivor, and I know this from my own personal experience with family members, there are trigger events, and this deposition has proved to be a trigger event for Ms. Germanotta," Gaga's lawyer said. "And she has experienced in the past few hours some PTSD reactions which is causing some trauma and emotional reactivity. So she is crying now, the record will reflect."

Gaga began by recounting that she had first met Kesha at Luke's home studio. She said Kesha was in a back room wearing only underwear. She then said Kesha told her about years of alleged abuse by Dr. Luke: "What we discussed was, what I recall was her immense sadness and depression and fear. She was visibly very different than when I had seen her before."

Things then started to get heated when Dr Luke's lawyer began to ask Gaga if she believed Luke's reputation was damaged by the allegations. Gaga answered: "If you are asking about his reputation in the world, I don’t feel at liberty to speak for the entire world. So if you are asking what my view is of his reputation, I made my view of him and his reputation when I saw her in that back room. That was an image that—of something that happened to me, and I felt and knew in my heart that she was telling the truth, and I believe her."

When asked to confirm that she has "no personal knowledge or information" about Gottwald’s physical relationship with Kesha, Gaga responded, "Yes, I do have knowledge. She told me that he assaulted her." When asked for further facts to support that statement, Gaga replied, "Well, when men assault women, they don't invite people over to watch."

Gaga continued: "And when this happens in this industry, it is kept extremely secret, and it is compounded by contracts and manipulative power scenarios that actually include this very situation that we are all in right now."

The lawyer then asked, "But, again, there are people that are falsely accused of rape, aren't there? You think there has never been a false accusation of rape?"

Gaga did not take kindly to the questions and blasted the female lawyer questioning her, saying: "How about all of the women that are accused of being liars and how she was slut shamed in front of the world, how about that?"

"I have factual knowledge of her depression," she continued. "I have factual knowledge of her need for support and love. I have factual knowledge of the spiral that I watched that girl go down. I have factual knowledge of trauma. I am informed and intelligent about this issue. That girl has experienced serious trauma and she is in the middle of the right now. And you are all a party to it."

Gaga added: "Why on earth would this girl tell the entire world this happened? Why on earth? Do you know what it’s like for survivors? Do you know what it’s like to tell people? Don’t you roll you eyes at me. You should be ashamed of yourself."

At that point, everyone agreed to take a break.

Lady Gaga had a special surprise for the audience of her ENIGMA show on Saturday night as she brought her A Star is Born costar Bradley Cooper onstage to perform their Oscar-nominated smash "Shallow" for the first time live. "A really good friend of mine came to the show tonight. I don't know if you know him, but his name is Bradley," Gaga joked. "He made that movie, A Star Is Born. Yo Bradley, you wanna come do this one with me?"

"Shallow" is set to be performed at the 91st Academy Awards in February, where it's up for Best Original Song. The track, which Gaga co-wrote with Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and Anthony Rossomando, has won every award it's been nominated so far, including a Golden Globe, a Critics' Choice Award, a Hollywood Music in Media Award, and a Satellite Award.

Lady Gaga kicked off her second Las Vegas show, titled Jazz & Piano, to a sold-out crowd at Park Theatre in Las Vegas on Sunday night. Joined by an orchestra and her friend Brian Newman's band, Gaga performed a two-hour set of her favorite jazz standards, including "Luck Be a Lady" and "Call Me Irresponsible," as well as acoustic versions of her iconic hits such as "Poker Face," "Bad Romance," and "Born This Way."

Lady Gaga got political during the latest ENIGMA show in Las Vegas, blasting President Trump over the government shutdown and calling out Vice President Pence and his wife, who is teaching at an anti-LGBT Christian school.

"Can the f---ing President of the United States put our government back up?" she told the crowd. "There are people that live paycheck to paycheck that need their money."

Gaga went on to slam Second Lady Karen Pence who recently accepted a part-time job teaching art at Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Virginia, which bars employees from engaging in or condoning "homosexual or lesbian sexual activity" and "transgender identity." Mike Pence called criticism of the decision "deeply offensive" to Christian education.

She added: "And to Mike Pence, who thinks that it’s acceptable that his wife works at a school that bans LGBTQ: you are wrong. You say we should not discriminate against Christianity... you're the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian. I am a Christian woman and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and everybody is welcome. So you can take all that disgrace, Mr. Pence, and look yourself in the mirror and you'll find it right there."

The 2019 Critics' Choice Awards took an unexpected turn when the award for Best Actress went to not one, but two women. Lady Gaga and Glenn Close, who are also the favorites to win the acting Oscar, tied to take home the award for their roles in A Star Is Born and The Wife.

"I am so honored by this," Gaga said in her speech. "I went to place in my mind and in my heart that I didn't know existed. This is a tremendous honor, I feel recognized not just for my performance but for the inner work it took in the creation of this character."

The actress also thanked her co-star and director Bradley Cooper for being a "magical filmmaker and just as magical human being."

"I have never had an experience with a director or an actor like I had with you, and I will cherish it forever," she said. "You seamlessly were both the love of my life and the man behind the camera."

Lady Gaga has apologized for her 2013 collaboration with R. Kelly and promised to pull the song "Do What U Want" from iTunes and all streaming services. Gaga's statement comes in the wake of a recent documentary series that chronicled allegations of abuse and predatory behaviour against the R&B singer.

"I stand behind these women 1000%, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously," Gaga told her fans. "What I am hearing about the allegations against R. Kelly is absolutely horrifying and indefensible."

She continued: "As a victim of sexual assault myself, I made both the song and video at a dark time in my life, my intention was to create something extremely defiant and provocative because I was angry and still hadn’t processed the trauma that had occurred in my own life. The song is called 'Do What U Want (With My Body),' I think it's clear how explicitly twisted my thinking was at the time. If I could go back and have a talk with my younger self I'd tell her to go through the therapy I have since then, so that I could understand the confused post-traumatic state that I was in- or if therapy was not available to me or anyone in my situation-to seek help, and speak as openly and honestly as possible about what we’ve been through.

Gaga then promised to remove the song, which served as the second single from ARTPOP and was later re-recorded with Christina Aguilera, from iTunes and streaming platforms.

She added: "I can't go back, but I can go forward and continue to support women, men, and people of all sexual identities, and of all races, who are victims of sexual assault. I have demonstrated my stance on this issue and others many times throughout my career. I share this not to make excuses for myself, but to explain. Til it happens to you, you don’t know how it feels. But I do know how I feel now. I intend to remove this song off of iTunes and other streaming platforms and will not be working with him again. I’m sorry, both for my poor judgment when I was young, and for not speaking out sooner. I love you."

Lady Gaga made an appearance at the 2019 crowned Best Actress at the National Board of Review Annual Awards gala in New York City on Tuesday night where she was crowned Best Actress for her role as Ally in Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born.

Introduced by Stephen Colbert, who joked that he was "so grateful to be here, partly because being here means I got to miss the president's stupid speech at 9 o''clock," Gaga gave an inspiring 13-minute speech, in which she opened up about becoming Ally and thanked Bradley Cooper for making filming A Star Is Born an unforgettable experience.

"I don’t look back on this experience as filming a movie," Gaga told the star-studded audience. "We became two people who were not us, and lived and breathed as them for a moment in time that I will never forget."

She added: "Ally was all the things I was not when I went out into the world and decided to pursue my dreams. I had to reflect on an earlier time in my life, in high school and earlier when I was bullied. I felt unheard. I was traumatized by people telling me over and over again that I wasn't and could never become who I dreamed of becoming."

The BAFTAs are one of the most prestigious nights in film, often seen as a harbinger of the Oscars, and will take place in London on Sunday, February 10th. Awards season is finally here! The first major award show of 2019 kicks off tonight with the 76th annual Golden Globes. Lady Gaga ends the year 2018 with a cherry on top of the cake of achievements as her iconic video for "Bad Romance" reaches 1 billion views on YouTube. The Francis Lawrence directed-visual is one of the few pre-VEVO music videos to reach the milestone (others being "November Rain" by Guns N' Roses and "Numb" by Linkin' Park), and Gaga's first.

"Bad Romance" is without a doubt one of the most-praised and awarded music video of all time. Released in 2009 to promote the lead single from The Fame Monster, the clip won 7 MTV Video Music Awards and a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video, was named Billboard's greatest video of the 2000s and was included in TIME's list of best music videos since the 1980s.

Lady Gaga took the stage at Park Theater for the second night of her critically acclaimed Las Vegas residency ENIGMA on Sunday night, and among the crowd was the queen of Vegas herself, Celine Dion. The Canadian superstar, who has had a Vegas residency since 2003, not only came out to support Gaga, but also prayed with her band and dancers before the show, and was later spotted dancing and singing along to her biggest hits.

"The absolutely legendary and beautiful Celine Dion is here tonight," Gaga told the audience. "She prayed with me and my entire crew backstage before this show.
