Lady Gaga's appearance on the Japanese show SMAPxSMAP, which fans have been buzzing about for weeks, has finally aired on Monday night. "I'm inspired to be where I am, I'm inspired to be here in Japan and I'm excited to wear a kimono," Gaga said during her brief interview. At the end of the show, she sang her latest single "Million Reasons" on a beautiful stage, and was later joined by a local pop group for a performance of the dance tracks "Perfect Illusion" and "A-YO" from the new album Joanne. Lady Gaga was a surprise performance at the annual Royal Variety Show at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Tuesday night. Dressed in an elegant Brandon Maxwell gown, Gaga took to the stage to perform a beautiful rendition of her latest hit song "Million Reasons" in front of Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall.

After the show, Gaga lined up with the rest of the performers to be greeted by the royals. As they were introduced, Camilla Parker-Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall told the Joanne singer: "My grandchildren call me Gaga."

Lady Gaga says that she would like to become a mother soon. The Joanne singer, who is the cover star of the latest issue of the Italian edition of Vanity Fair, told the magazine that giving birth is the most powerful thing in a woman's life and that she's excited about being a mother one day.

"I am thrilled to be 30," Gaga told the mag (translated). "At this age you are freer. You're a woman, and the most powerful thing a woman can do, if she chooses to, is to give life. The thought of being a mother one day excites me. I don't know when it will happen. But, hopefully, soon. But I want send the message that giving birth to a child does not mean to stop being young: it is a high time in the life of a woman, you must live it as a strength, not a weakness. I hope my fans know that I'll still be on stage when I'm 79, sitting at the piano and singing like Tony Bennett. Because I'll never be afraid to show the world my age."

Lady Gaga treated a group of lucky fans to an intimate gig on the rooftop of London's Westfield Shopping Centre. The Joanne singer put on a special performance in a giant snow globe for an audience of competition winner on Thursday night. Gaga performed a short set of her classics such as "Bad Romance," as well as tracks from her most recent album, including the new hit single "Million Reasons."

"I love my London and UK fans so much, and performing my new music for them in such an intimate and spectacular location was the perfect way to celebrate the holidays," Gaga said.

Speaking to the crowd, she added: "Money has been put on a pedestal, beauty has been put on a pedestal, celebrity has been put on a pedestal. I have travelled the world and seen the happiest people in the poorest parts of the world. Their values are intact. 

"In the richest homes I meet the saddest and most depressed people. With this album I wanted to remind the whole world and my fans that the most important things are love and kindness. Kindness is what will create harmony, not celebrity and not fame."

Lady Gaga was spotted at The Radical Eye dinner for the Elton John Aids Foundation in London on Thursday night. Gaga, who arrived in the UK earlier this week ahead of her performance at the X Factor, looked gorgeous in a black Azzedine Alaia gown as she posed for photographers at the black tie dinner, hosted by Sir Elton John and David Furnish.

This special event took place on December 1st, the World AIDS Day. All money raised from the evening will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The Foundation funds frontline programmes that help to alleviate the pain of those living with, affected by or at risk of HIV/AIDS.

Lady Gaga says the music video for "Million Reasons" is coming very soon! The singer-songwriter stopped by the NRJ Radio studios in Paris, France on Tuesday to discuss her brand new album Joanne and answer fans' question about the project.

British Little Monsters, rejoice! Lady Gaga is headed to the UK next week for a performance on the X Factor. The singers-songwriter, who recently released her new album Joanne, will bring the project's latest single "Million Reasons" to the December 4th results show.

This will be Gaga's fourth performance on the popular show. She made her big X Factor debut in 2009 when she sang "Bad Romance" in an oversized white bathtub. In 2011, Gaga stole the show with a jaw-dropping performance of "Marry The Night" during which she quite literally sang her head off. She returned to the show again in 2013 for a medley of the ARTPOP tracks "Venus" and "Do What U Want."

Lady Gaga sat down with Lee Cowan for a very candid interview on CBS's Sunday Morning show. The singer-songwriter broke into tears when discussing how fame has changed her life and the loss of a connection with everyday people.

"I'm very acutely aware that once I cross that property line, I'm not free anymore," Gaga confessed. "As soon as I go out into the world, I belong, in a way, to everyone else. It's legal to follow me. It's legal to stalk me at the beach. I took a long, hard look at that property line, and I said, 'Well, if I can't be free out there, I can be free in my heart.'"

"I miss people," she continued through tears. "I miss people. I miss, you know, going anywhere and meeting a random person and saying, 'Hi,' and having a conversation about life. I love people."

The one barrier fame didn't put up was between her and her family, especially her father, Joe.

"Making your dad happy is, especially for an Italian Catholic girl, I'll tell you, it feels really good," she said. "You know, all the awards in the world, you can get into all the nightclubs, they'll send you the nicest clothes. Nothing better than walking into your dad's restaurant and seeing a smile on his face and knowing that your mom and dad and your sister are real proud of you. And that, you know, you haven't lost touch with who you are. That, for me, is real success."

Earlier: Lady Gaga stopped by Brooklyn's Ali Forney Center on Friday to give her support to homeless LGBT youth. Gaga gave a short performance, chatted with the teens, and even treated them to a Black Friday shopping trip!

"I'm here today not because I had to excruciatingly pull time out of my schedule to come be here," Gaga said. "I'm here because I want to be here. And I'm here because I want this to affect other people around the world, and to remind them that when they are kind, it not only makes the other person feel good, but it makes me feel good too."

Lady Gaga is coming to Australia! Speaking to Nova 96.9's Fitzy and Wippa, the singer confirmed that she will be returning Down Under with a tour supporting her new album Joanne.

"Absolutely I'll be there for a tour and I can't wait to see my Aussie fans," Gaga said. "It's really important to me to always let them know how much I love them and how they have all given me a million reasons to stick around. I always say that and it's so true that I really have in my life realized that not only do I need to be healthy for myself but I need to be healthy for all of those who have loved and supported me over the years. And I just love them so much and can't wait to see their faces when I play these records."

No word yet on the dates or when tickets will go on sale, but the tour is expected to begin sometime next year, after Gaga plays the biggest stage in the world, the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Lady Gaga was brought to tears after Sunday's American Music Awards. The singer found herself crying outside of the Microsoft Theater as a group of fans serenaded her with their rendition of Gaga's new single "Million Reasons," which she performed earlier that night. After they finished singing, Gaga blew kisses and hugged some of the fans.

"After meeting Gaga several times, this time we could finally connect with her on a human level," on of the lucky Little Monsters, Ivan, told Gaga Daily. "We cried, we sang, we rejoiced. What a special moment it was to serenade her and have her warmly embrace us monsters!"

Pop superstar Selena Gomez stole the show at the 2016 American Music Awards when she gave a deeply personal speech about her emotional heath problems that caused her to take time off from her music.

"I was absolutely broken inside. And I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down," she told the audience. "But if you are broken, you do not have to stay broken."

"I don't want to see your bodies on Instagram. I want to see what's in here," Selena added, pointing to her heart. "Whether you respect me or not that's one thing you need to know about me is that I care about people."

Among the people inspired by Selena's words was Lady Gaga, who broke down in tears and applauded the "Kill Em with Kindness" singer.

After the show, Gaga shared a touching Instagram photo that showed herself and Selena sharing a hug backstage. Gaga captioned the snap, "So dope I got to hang with with the biggest rockstar of the night, ya know besides Sting and Green Day. The girl with the biggest prize of all. Photographed by her longtime friends and collaborators Inez and Vinoodh, the singer graces the cover of the magazine's 150th anniversary issue, on newsstands next week. The gorgeous cover shoot is accompanied by an essay featuring Gaga's thoughts on what it means to be a woman today.

On what fame means to her:
Fame is the best drug that's ever existed. But once you realize who you are and what you care about, that need for more, more, more just goes away. What matters is that I have a great family, I work hard, I take care of those around me, I provide jobs for people I love very much, and I make music that I hope sends a good message into the world. I turned 30 this year, and I'm a fully formed woman. I have a clear perspective on what I want. That, for me, is success. I want to be somebody who is fighting for what's true—not for more attention, more fame, more accolades.

On womanhood:
I look at my mother and the way she has loved my father through his pain, and I look at my grandmothers and what they've been through—the three of them are like a trifecta of strength. Health, happiness, love—these are the things that are at the heart of a great lady, I think. That's the kind of lady I want to be. You know, I never thought I'd say this, but isn't it time to take off the corsets? As someone who loves them, I think it's time to take them off.

On the inspiration behind her new album:
I called my album Joanne because Joanne's presence was always important to me. The best way to describe my relationship with her is that it's like the relationship someone might have with an angel or a spirit guide or whatever you think of as a higher power. Joanne died of lupus, which is an autoimmune disease, and from what I know of the history of my family, one of the reasons her disease may have worsened was that she was assaulted when she was in college. She was sexually assaulted and groped. Joanne passed away in 1974, 12 years before I was born, so I learned about her mostly through stories and pictures. But I also learned about her through the rage of my father and watching him pour a drink every night and through seeing my grandparents cry at the Christmas dinner table when it was clear that there was an empty seat they wanted to fill.

On taking a step back from the spotlight:
Before I made Joanne, I took some time off. I made music with Tony Bennett. I did "Til It Happens to You" with Diane Warren. But I was able to get off the train of endless work I'd been on, which was quite abusive to my body and my mind, and have some silence and some space around me. I wanted to experience music again the way I did when I was younger, when I just had to make it, instead of worrying what everybody thinks or being obsessed with things that aren't important.
