Lady Gaga returned to the House of Blues club in Boston on Saturday night for another performance with her friend Brian Newman and his band. Gaga took the stage to sing some of her favorite jazz standards, such as "I Can't Give You Anything But Love," just minutes after headlining Fenway park across the street for a second time.

Unlike her surprise appearance at the same club on Friday, last night's show was promoted by Gaga on Twitter and the club packed with Little Monsters dressed up in their favorite Gaga outfits. 

"At House of Blues, she wasn't Lady Gaga the untouchable legendary megastar," a Gaga Daily reader Hunter told us. "She was Stefani Germanotta dropping in on her friend's show and giving it her all with her buddies singing the music that she so clearly throws all of her passion into. In all of my years living here and seeing concerts around the city, I have never seen such universal excitement and awe from the crowd."

Another fan, Jon, added: "I don't know how this woman can play a full two hour show, then jump on stage and blow you away only minutes later at an after show. One thing I will say, whether she's playing a stadium with thousands of people or you see her from feet away in a small venue, she somehow manages to make you feel she's singing directly to you. Hands down the best experience of my life!"

Lady Gaga couldn't sing for her Little Monsters, so they sang for her. 

Mother Monster had to reschedule her Joanne World Tour show in Montreal, Canada after powering through heavy rain at an earlier concert at New York City's City Field. Gaga made the announcement via Twitter on Tuesday while the tour’s promoter Live Nation released a statement confirming that the singer had been "instructed by her doctor that she will need to reschedule this evening’s show due to respiratory infection and laryngitis."

"To my beautiful fans. I couldn't be more devastated that I am unable to perform tonight," Gaga tweeted. "I sing this entire show live, and pride myself in giving it all, but when I sang in the rain at Citi Field I got sick and have been pushing through. I am so sorry to anyone who had their heart set on seeing me tonight. I love you."

Instead of going home, however, the fans headed to Gaga's Montreal hotel to support and serenade her. Overwhelmed by the gesture, Gaga sent them pizzas and autographed copies of the Joanne album and event went up onto the hotel roof to greet the crowd.

"I can't believe you are singing 'Grigio Girls.' I will make it up to you, I promise, Montreal," she said.

Gaga is next set to perform at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on September 6 and 7.

Lady Gaga has premiered the first trailer for her Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two. The teaser made its debut during Gaga's show in Toronto and features various clips from the highly-anticipated doc, including recording Joanne with Mark Ronson, filming the music video for "Perfect Illusion," getting ready for the Super Bowl Halftime show and even getting kicked out of Walmart.

"This was a true documentary made of my life, meaning I gave everyone access to what I wanted everyone to have access to," Gaga told Entertainment Weekly. "I decided what they could and could not film and what could be in the movie. I’m excited for people to see it, but it’s not intended to lay a framework for anything. It’s intended just to be true and honest."Ahead of its Sept. 22 release on the streaming service, director Chris Moukarbel’s film is set to premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.

In the new doc, Gaga gives us a peek behind the curtain of her superstar life as Netflix follows her through "her most vulnerable moments as she pushes through chronic pain, heartbreak and produces a soul-blooming album."

Lady Gaga says she's going to take a break next year. Speaking at a press conference for her upcoming documentary film Gaga: Five Foot Two, the Joanne superstar revealed that while she plans to take a career break to "heal," she has some surprises for her fans up her sleeve and will still be writing music.

"I'm gonna take a rest," Gaga told a reporter at the Toronto Film Festival. "I don't know how long. That doesn't mean I won't be creating. It doesn't mean that I don't have some things up my sleeve that I'm not gonna tell you today. But I'm looking forward to reflecting and slowing down for a moment and healing because that's important."

Last month, Gaga revealed that she has begun working on a follow-up to her latest album Joanne.  "I've started writing," Gaga told Entertainment Weekly. "I have a lot of ideas and a lot of things I want to create, so you'll see in a bit. I need some time to create."

Lady Gaga took a moment during her Joanne World Tour in Toronto to read a letter she received from a fan in the audience.

"I'm writing you because I wanted to thank you for all the strength you've given me to grow into the young woman I am today," the letter from a fan named Danny read. "I went through so much bullying and harassment and watching my mother go through an alcohol addiction as well as PTSD. She passed away this past January. Gaga, you kept me strong through that hard time. Whenever I was having a hard day or felt like I was going to have a nervous breakdown, I would listen to your music and instantly feel better. You have inspired me so much over the years in countless ways and given me the courage and confidence to be true to myself. I hope this letter gets to you."

An emotional Gaga then came down to hug the fan.

"I held it out and didn't expect she would even take it," Danny, who is a Gaga Daily forum member, said. "She and I were making eye contact all night and kept making the monster claw at each other. I'm still in shock."

Lady Gaga performed at the Toronto International Festival during the official premiere of her new documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two on Friday night. Gaga took the stage to give a stunning acoustic performance of her 2009 hit single "Bad Romance" just minutes before the Chris Moukarbel-directed doc made its debut at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre.

"It's a difficult thing to let somebody into your life, and I think it happened slowly and organically, and there were points where she could've pulled the plug on it, but she allowed it to happen and then we had a finished film," Moukarbel said of working with Gaga on the documentary, while she added: "It was a challenging time. There were extreme highs and my life has completely changed in the most wonderful way that I would never take back, but it also included the lowest of lows."

While it doesn't hit Netflix until September 22nd, Lady Gaga's new documentary Five Foot Two made its official debut at the Toronto Film Festival on Friday night and the response has been fantastic, with critics calling the doc "honest," "authentic," and "brilliant."

Julie Miller of Vanity Fair called the doc "remarkable" and "awards-worthy" and wrote: "The stunning film transports its audience into the wild, whiplash existence of a six-time Grammy-winning singer/songwriter, actress, beloved avatar of self expression, and entrepreneur."

"Gaga exudes nuclear levels of magnetism, and the film captures her intense relationship with her friends, family and fans," said Leslie Felperin of The Hollywood Reporter, while Variety’s Owen Gleiberman wrote: "Five Foot Two shows you Lady Gaga evolving — but more than that it shows you that she’s only just getting started."

In his review for The Playlist, Gregory Ellwood concluded: "Whether you like Lady Gaga or not, you will at least finish Five Foot Two with a newfound respect for her. She has been and still is the real deal as a musician and she's battling physical demons to support her art and reward her millions of loyal fans."

Lady Gaga has cancelled her performance at the Rock In Rio performance in Brazil, due to "severe pain" the festival's site announced on Thursday morning.

"Brazil, I'm devastated that I'm not well enough to come to Rock In Rio," Gaga told fans. "I would do anything for you but I have to take care of my body right now. I ask for your grace and understanding, and promise that I will come back and perform for you soon. I'm so sorry, and I love you so much."

She added: "I was taken to the hospital. It's not simply hip pain or wear and tear from tour, I'm in severe pain. I'm in good hands with the very best doctors."

Severe physical pain is forcing Lady Gaga to postpone the European leg of her Joanne World Tour until early 2018, the singer announced on Monday. The six-week European part of the tour was scheduled to begin on September 21st in Barcelona, Spain.

"I have always been honest about my physical and mental health struggles," Gaga explained in a touching Instagram post. "Searching for years to get to the bottom of them. It is complicated and difficult to explain, and we are trying to figure it out. As I get stronger and when I feel ready, I will tell my story in more depth, and plan to take this on strongly so I can not only raise awareness, but expand research for others who suffer as I do, so I can help make a difference.

She continued: "I use the word 'suffer' not for pity, or attention, and have been disappointed to see people online suggest that I'm being dramatic, making this up, or playing the victim to get out of touring. I use the word suffer not only because trauma and chronic pain have changed my life, but because they are keeping me from living a normal life. They are also keeping me from what I love the most in the world: performing for my fans. I am looking forward to touring again soon, but I have to be with my doctors right now so I can be strong and perform for you all for the next 60 years or more. I love you so much."

Earlier this week, Lady Gaga was rushed to hospital just hours before her performance at Brazil's Rock In Rio festival and remains under the care of medical professionals.

"It really hits home when you know the person you look up to is suffering the same way you are with the same illness," a fan on the Gaga Daily forums wrote, while another added: "I'm so worried about her but I know she'll come back around. I'd rather see these dates wait another 6 months than watch her injure herself beyond repair."

Young pop star and Miley's baby sister Noah Cyrus covered Lady Gaga's hit single "Million Reasons" at the kick off of Katy Perry's Witness tour, which she opened for. Noah took the stage at Montreal's Bell Center on Tuesday night to perform a beautiful rendition of the power ballad in front of thousands of KatyCats waiting for the "Bon Appétit" singer to hit the stage.

Noah has been a lifelong Lady Gaga fan, calling Mother Monster her biggest musical influence and inspiration. "I've always looked up to her. When 'LoveGame' was released, I freaked out," she told V Magazine earlier this year. "I have been stuck on Joanne. Gaga has just killed it and this year, with that album, she has really inspired me. She has always inspired me."

Warner Bros. has moved up the release date for Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born! Originally scheduled for September, the remake of the 1937 classic will now premiere on May 18th, 2018, Variety reports.

Not only will Lady Gaga make her big screen debut in the upcoming movie, the "Million Reasons" singer is also set to release a soundtrack album that will feature original music written and recorded by her.

Lady Gaga paid tribute to the victims of the Last Vegas massacre, which is now the largest mass shooting in U.S. history, by hosting a live meditation session. The Joanne superstar encouraged fans to join her for a live-streamed 20 minutes of silent meditation or prayer to calm inflammation and "connect us all through inner peace."

"My intention is to provide a forum for us all connect to around the world, as a calling for world peace and inner peace," she said. "If you choose to meditate with me I will explain how meditation is important in my life and how I will be doing I practice it before we get started. It will be very helpful to be in a quiet dark space, but anywhere is fine as long as we're together."

Gaga, however, did not stop at inner peace. The singer  urged U.S. leaders to act quickly to tighten gun laws. She tweeted: "This is terrorism plain and simple. Terror bares no race, gender or religion. Democrats and Republicans please unite now. Prayers are important but Paul Ryan, Donald Trump, blood is on the hands of those who have power to legislate. Act quickly."

At least 59 people were killed and more than 500 were wounded when a heavily armed gunman opened fire from his hotel room window onto an open-air country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip.

Congratulations to Lady Gaga whose latest album Joanne has just been certified platinum in the United States! The "Million Reasons" singer received the official plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America on Monday, just days after the album celebrated its first anniversary.

"My album Joanne is officially certified platinum in the United States," Gaga wrote as she shared the exciting news with fans onTwitter. "I couldn’t be more happy, thank you from me and my family to you!"

Joanne, named after Lady Gaga's late aunt, was released in October 2016 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 201,000 copies in its first week. The album spawned two Top 20 singles, including "Million Reasons," which topped charts worldwide.

Congratulations are in order for Lady Gaga, whose 2013 album ARTPOP has just been certified platinum in the United States. The news comes just days after Gaga's most recent release, Joanne, received the same award from the Recording Industry Association of America. This also now means that all of Mother Monster's solo albums are certified platinum (or higher) in her home country.

ARTPOP was released in November 2013 to mixed critic reviews, but was commercially successful, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 258,000 copies. The album became Gaga's second consecutive number one in the United States and earned a nomination for Top Dance/Electronic Album at the Billboard Music Awards. "[Gaga] was amazing and in full spirit," a fan in attendance wrote on the Gaga Daily forums. "She really put on a show and I think she was reminded of how much her fans love her. I was right up front and she looked into my camera several times and even touched me. It was amazing."

Lady Gaga is back in the studio with her friend and long-time collaborator DJ White Shadow ("Born This Way," "Applause," "The Cure")! The Detroit-raised DJ shared pictures of Gaga recording new music in her tour bus on Wednesday night and teased an upcoming collaboration.

"I am about to do some s**t that will change the world," he wrote while in studio with Gaga. "I am going to dedicate it to the people that I let into my life with love who abandon me when I needed them the most, and to the people that took advantage of a me because my heart is bigger than my head sometimes. Every time you hear it on the radio, think of me."

Gaga is currently on a world tour supporting her latest album Joanne, which recently received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. During a meet and greet with fans in Indianapolis, Gaga revealed that she has already begun working on new music, and even sang an unreleased track called "Frankensteined," a song about "putting your pieces back together."

In May 2018, Gaga will make her big screen debut in Bradley Cooper's remake of A Star Is Born. Gaga has composed and rand will perform original songs in the movie.

Record producer and Lady Gaga's long-time collaborator DJ White Shadow says the singer's next album will be ARTPOP's "little sister." The Detroit-based DJ compared the upcoming record to Gaga's controversial 2013 album, which celebrates its fourth anniversary today, in an emotional new Instagram post.

"4 years ago I put out a record called ARTPOP with Lady Gaga," the DJ, real name Paul Blair, told his followers. "I could write a book about it, maybe one day I will. I lost a best friend and manager, Gaga lost her entire support team, and we were all alone. I am so grateful for this record because it taught me a lot. I made some friends that have changed my life forever in the halls where this record was recorded, whom I love so incredibly deeply. For all her flaws, strangeness and beauty, I thank you ARTPOP for the lessons learned and the gifts you gave. Happy 4th Birthday. I can’t wait to introduce you to your little sister soon."

Lady Gaga continues her Joanne World Tour with stops in North America after having to reschedule part of the massively-successful tour earlier this year due to severe physical pain. At one of the two sold-out shows at Uncasville's Mohegan Sun Arena, Gaga noticed an injured fan and stopped mid-performance to check up on her. 

She said: "Are you doing alright? Are you gonna stay? Do you need some extra help? Do you need a paramedic? They're on their way? Okay! What's your name? Meredith? I'm so sorry you got hit in the face and that you're bleeding. We're gonna make sure you're okay, alright? Okay, I think she's gonna see the doctors. What we all need to remember is that there are things that are more important than show business.

"So we'll do this one for Meredith, alright," she added before dedicating a performance of "Paparazzi" to the fan, who also received a backstage pass later. Watch the moment below...

Lady Gaga made one little boy's day in Chicago today. The lucky boy was Coltrane, a 2-year-old cool kid from Oakland, California who has Joubert syndrome, a very rare birth defect that affects about 1 in 100,000 children.

Coltrane and his parents are in Chicago for the 2015 Joubert Syndrome Conference, and as they were enjoying the sunny day in the city, they bumped into none other than Mother Monster herself.

"Lady Gaga talked to Coltrane for a few minutes and we got to tell her about Joubert syndrome and the conference this week," Coltrane's father Oscar told Gaga Daily. "I tried to talk calmly while screaming inside. She told us about her Born This Way Foundation. Sweet, charming and genuinely interested, initially approached us about his wheelchair. I was spooning him some Greek yogurt and chatting it up with people sitting by us. I love Lady Gaga and to know she is aware of Joubert syndrome makes me so happy."

The boy's mother, Ayah, added: "We had a good conversation about the genius of John Coltrane, Joubert Syndrome and how people are 'born this way'! Sweetest lady, that Mother Monster."

Joubert syndrome is a rare genetic disorder characterized by the absence or underdevelopment of the area of the brain that controls muscle coordination. The rumors are true! Lady Gaga will perform at this year's 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 19th, ABC announced on Tuesday. Her performance will be televised live from her Joanne World Tour show in Washington, D.C. Gaga is expected to sing her latest single "The Cure," giving the hit track its first televised performance.

Lady Gaga is up for one award at this year's show — she will battle Rihanna and Alessia Cara for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist.

This will be Gaga's fourth performance at the American Music Awards. She made her debut at the show in 2009 with an instantly-iconic performance of "Speechless" and "Bad Romance," and then returned to the AMAs stage in 2013 for an "American-themed performance" of "Do What U Want" and in 2016 to promote "Million Reasons."

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's highly-anticipated remake of the movie A Star Is Born has been confirmed to be R-rated in the United States. The Motion Picture Association of America has awarded an R rating for Gaga's big screen debut for "language throughout, some sexuality and nudity, and substance abuse."

While not much has been revealed about the content of the movie (fans expect the first official trailer to debut later this month), Gaga Daily members who attended one of the early pre-screenings report that there is a very brief full-frontal nude scene with Gaga which is likely one of the main reasons the movie received the R rating.

A Star is Born starring Lady Gaga (credited as Stefani Germanotta) and Bradley Cooper is set for release on May 18, 2018. Gaga plays an aspiring musician named Ally, who gets discovered by a country music star (Cooper) on the brink of decline.
