Lady Gaga wrapped the massively successful world tour in support of her latest album Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett just days ago, but she's already starting to work on a new, solo album. Mother Monster took to her Instagram today to post a selfie with a simple caption: "LG5 time."

The record, which fans hope to be released sometime next year, will be Gaga's fifth pop album, after the Grammy-winning The Fame and The Fame Monster, and the number-ones Born This Way and ARTPOP.

Interestingly, today also marks three years since Lady Gaga revealed the title for her latest pop album, ARTPOP. On August 3rd, 2012, Gaga announced the name of the record by tattooing it on her arm and sharing a snap of it with the world. "New ink new album," she wrote alongside the photo.

After years of waiting, Lady Gaga has fulfilled the dream of many fans and finally appeared on the RuPaul's Drag Race. Mother Monster guest judged on the season premiere of the iconic show, which aired on Friday on VH1. Gaga made sure to make her Drag Race debut nothing but spectacular, appearing on the show disguised as one of the contestants before revealing her true identity.

"She tweeted me several years ago, but it took this long to get the schedules together," RuPaul said of bringing Gaga to his show. "She's on the show opener. It is so much fun, everyone is going to love it. She started in New York City clubs, like myself, she started around drag queens and the downtown culture so she felt right at home."

Tony Bennett turns 90! The jazz legend was joined by his pal Lady Gaga at the Empire State Building at a ceremony honoring Tony's legacy in music. Dressed in a gorgeous Carolina Herrera gown, Gaga flipped the switch to light up the iconic building in the colors of red, white, and green to celebrate Bennett's Italian roots.

"I am so honored to be by Tony's side on his 90th birthday," Gaga said. "Today we lit up the Empire State Building together, in the colors of the Italian Flag to commemorate Bennett's legacy as the greatest living legend and example of the Italian American Dream. We love you, Ton! Happy Birthday! 90 is the new 20!"

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at Tony Bennett's show at Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night. The Joanne superstar joined her friend and frequent collaborator, who will turn 91 on August 3rd to perform two of their favorite jazz standards, including "The Lady Is A Tramp" and "Cheek to Cheek."

"I couldn't be more honored to be here with my great friend, I love you so much Tony," Gaga told the crowd at the show, celebrating the 55th anniversary of the jazz legend's first-ever performance at the iconic venue. "I know everybody feels that way. For the first time I got to see Tony from the audience tonight. You're incredible!"

Gaga and Tony performed at the Hollywood Bowl for the first time together in 2015 during the world tour supporting the duet album Cheek to Cheek.

"I'll never forget it, because from that moment, we just became great, great friends," Bennett told Billboard earlier this week. "And to this day, I'm still thinking of doing another album with her. And she’s just a wonderful artist to perform with and a great person that we love very much."

Lady Gaga says she might release some more new music later this summer! Speaking to E! Online, Gaga revealed that she's working on putting out new songs and fans might hear them during the newly-announced Dive Bar performance in Las Vegas.

"You just might get some more music," she teased. "I love making music. I don't know exactly when. I'm sort of feeling like I'm making songs and doing all sorts of things with music, but I don't know exactly when or how I will release them. I'm working on that."

Lady Gaga released her latest album Joanne in 2016 and will embark on a world tour supporting the record in August. Gaga debuted a non-album single "The Cure" (which we're hearing was originally recorded for the soundtrack album for A Star Is Born) during her performance at Coachella in April.

Lady Gaga is super excited to make her major TV series debut in American Horror Story, says her fiancé Taylor Kinney.

"I don't think even she got scripts yet," Taylor, who is an actor himself, told E! News when asked if he could share some spoilers about the storyline. "But she's excited. She's excited."

He continued: "She's a big fan. She's the one who turned me onto it. I've seen a few. It's a bit out there, but I love it. The performances, the writing, the cinematography on that show—across the board, I think she really wanted to be a part of it, so I'm looking forward to watching. I think everybody will be."

Lady Gaga will be starring alongside Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Chloë Sevigny, Wes Bentley, Kathy Bates and others in the upcoming FX series.

American Horror Story: Hotel is set to film this summer and start airing in October.

Lady Gaga is the new face of Tiffany & Co.'s new fashion jewelry collection, Tiffany HardWear, Vanity Fair reports exclusively. The Joanne singer will star in the brand's 60-second short film that will air during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The campaign was created by former Vogue creative director Grace Coddington and features Gaga talking about empowerment and her own creative journey. "In New York, you're born knowing that Tiffany is the best, and that it is where the magic happens," she said in a statement.

Lady Gaga performed at the Columbus Citizens Foundation Gala on Saturday night. Mother Monster took the stage at New York's Waldorf Astoria to play several songs, including "La Vie En Rose" and "O Sole Mio" with Tony Bennett, at the event which celebrated the strong bonds between Italy and the United States and raised over $3 million for scholarships.

"I loved singing for the Columbus Citizens Foundation last night," Gaga wrote on her Instagram page. "Poured into some of Dinah Washington's favorites and commemorated decades of Italian immigrants supporting one another. Thank you for loving me and my family all these years, Ti Amo!"

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett completed their massively successful Cheek to Cheek world tour with a sold-out show at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall on Saturday night.

"Finishing off our sold out Cheek to Cheek Tour at the wonderful Kennedy Center tonight," Mr. Bennett wrote on his Instagram page ahead of the show. "Hope we can tour again. Lady is a great person and a great performer."

Tony, who turns 89 this Monday, received a special Birthday gift from Gaga during the final show. Mother Monster serenaded her friend with a song and surprised him with a massive multi-tier cake, complete with adorable figurines of the jazz duo.

The next stop on Lady Gaga's busy schedule is Los Angeles, where she will be filming the upcoming season of American Horror Story.

Lady Gaga is back on the road! Mother Monster kicked off her sixth world tour, in support of her latest number one album Joanne, on Tuesday night in Vancouver, Canada. Unlike any of her previous concerts, details surrounding the Joanne World Tour were being kept secret, with zero information about the stage, the set list, or the visuals revealed to the fans, even less than 24 hours before the show.

Lady Gaga took the stage at the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday night. During her 90-minute set, Gaga played some of her biggest hits, including "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face," as well as fan-favorite album cuts, such as "Teeth," "Venus," and "Scheiße." She also sang her brand new single "The Cure," which she debuted live at her first Coachella show last week.

Among the highlights of the show was Gaga's emotional performance of "The Edge of Glory," dedicated to her friend Sonja Dunham, who is fighting stage four cancer. "My friend is very sick and I love her so much, and if it's ok with you I'd like to sing this song for her," she told the crowd. "I'm sorry you don't feel well, Sonja, I wish you could be here with us."

Lady Gaga took some time out of her schedule to attend the Children Mending Hearts' 10th Annual Empathy Rocks in Los Angeles with her mother Cynthia on Sunday. At the charity event, Gaga and Cynthia's Born This Way Foundation was honored with the Global Changemaker Award.

Lady Gaga continues to build up excitement for her upcoming new single "Perfect Illusion." Shortly after announcing the song's release date and cover artwork, Mother Monster sent her fans into another meltdown by sharing the track's first lyrics. Gaga tweeted a collage of brand new pictures along with the lines that read: "I don't need eyes to see / I felt you touchin' me / High like amphetamine / Maybe you're just a dream."

Lady Gaga's new single "Perfect Illusion," co-produced with Mark Ronson, Kevin Parker, and Bloodpop drops this Friday, September 9th.

The wait is finally over! Lady Gaga has officially released her new single "Til It Happens To You" which serves as the theme song for the documentary about campus rape called The Hunting Ground.

"Diane Warren and I made 'Til It Happens To You' for people all over the world who suffer from painful life experiences," Gaga told fans shortly after the release. "We hope you feel our love and solidarity through the song and perhaps find some peace in knowing you are not alone through this film."

Congratulations to Lady Gaga who has been named Billboard's 2015 Woman of the Year! Gaga will be honored with the award at the annual Women In Music event that will take place in New York City on December 11th.

2015 has been one of the most successful years of Gaga's massive career so far: she received universal acclaim for her Sound of Music performance at the Oscars, played over 30 sold-out shows with the jazz legend Tony Bennett, and received the first ever "Icon" award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame. She's currently busy filming the highly-anticipated new season of American Horror Story, and recording her next album, due out in 2016.

Lady Gaga took to her Twitter account on Friday to voice her support for fellow pop star Kesha, who had been denied permission to break a recording contract with her alleged rapist, record producer Dr. Luke. 

"There are people all over the world who love you, Kesha," Gaga wrote. "And I can say truly I am in awe of your bravery."

Earlier today, a Manhattan Supreme Court judge refused to grant Kesha a preliminary injunction temporarily releasing her from her contract with Sony. The pop star is obliged to make six more albums with Kemosabe Records, a label run by Dr. Luke and owned by Sony. 

Lady Gaga says she finds it much easier to communicate through songs than words -- even with her fiancé Taylor Kinney. 

"I believe it's everyone's natural right to express themselves beyond what we learn as children," she told CR Fashion Book. "I'm much better at communicating through my work. Sometimes I feel like, even with my fiancé, I'll tell him I feel a certain way, but then he understands me better if I create a song and play it for him. I wrote a song for him the other day and it really sat with him because it was something I couldn't say with words, only through song."

In the interview, accompanied by Lady Gaga's first ever unretouched cover shoot by Bruce Weber, Gaga also speaks about the pressures of being a pop star. "As a 29-year-old girl, at this stage in my pop career everybody goes, 'Oh she's getting old,' and everybody's so worried about having a perfect body, a perfect face, and perfect hair," Gaga says. "When, you know, actually, legacy and longevity is about having some sort of story and footprint to leave in the world when you die, chasing your talent until you're dead. And that, as an artist, you love your art 'til death. It's the antithesis of what I was taught growing up, which is that at this age I would have to fight in order to continue to look young, in order to continue to be trendy. When, you know, I never was trendy. I was always anti-trend."

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney may be engaged now, but their first interaction was not love at first sight. The 34-year-old actor, who is the star of NBC's hit series Chicago Fire, told Andy Cohen that Gaga slapped him the first time he kissed her on the set of the "Yoü And I" music video.

"I remember I went up, and we're rolling, and I kissed her and she didn't expect it," Taylor recalled. "They cut, and she slapped me. And it was just awkward. And the next take, I just did it again and then she didn't slap me. She didn't slap me then. We had a good time. I think there was chemistry. It was a late shoot. We were shooting until 4 or 5 in the morning. We exchanged information. A few weeks went by and we kept in touch and then that's that."

The couple got engaged this Valentine's Day after being together for more than three years.

"He put me on the back of his motorcycle and we drove away from all my security and he got in a lot of trouble," Gaga said of her first date with Taylor. "I just remember my helmet got all foggy because I was crying because I hadn't been outside by myself for so long. He hid me away in this little shack at the beach, where we made love all day long and then he introduced me to all his friends. And I'll never forget it because the one before him told me I would never make another friend, he told me I would die a rich old woman in a big house. With all my fame and no sense of the world. But not this guy. He told me that he was a gypsy too and if I wanted to we could go anywhere together or anywhere apart."

Throwing surprise performances at jazz clubs around the world seems to have become a tradition for Lady Gaga and Brian Newman. Mother Monster took the stage with her best friend's band at La Fontaine, the oldest jazz club in Copenhagen, Denmark, to play a set of jazz standards, which she had already sang earlier that night for a sold-out crowd at her show with Tony Bennett.

Lady Gaga and designer Alexander Wang co-hosted an epic after party following Monday's Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala. The singer took to her Twitter account on Monday to chat with Little Monsters, including Daniel, who asked, "You actually are a Lady, but where is Gaga?" The Lady responded, "She's asleep. Resting up. For the next album."

Lady Gaga is currently on tour with Tony Bennett promoting their massively successful jazz album Cheek to Cheek, which has recently passed the million sales mark worldwide.

"Cheek to Cheek will not be my last jazz album, and ARTPOP was not my last pop album," she told Gaga Daily in an exclusive interview last year. "I have many years ahead of me to make music and I feel stronger than ever, like I did when I first moved to Hollywood to make it. I'm a fighter again. Put me in the ring. Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at London's Moth club on Friday night to play a mini-show during which she performed her brand new single "Perfect Illusion" for the very first time. Wearing silver hotpants and a cropped t-shirt, Gaga made the excited crowd dance, sweat, and sing along to the new tune, which currently sits at number one on the UK iTunes.

"Perfect Illusion" is the lead single from Gaga's upcoming album, due out this year. "The song is about modern ecstasy," Gaga said of the track which she co-produced with Mark Ronson, Kevin Parker, and Bloodpop. "We found our sweet, simple, ragey way of saying it... I get this sick adrenaline rush every time I hear it."

Lady Gaga has had one hell of a year and she took took her Instagram account on New Year's eve to thanks her "fans and loved ones" for it. Mother Monster shared an adorable selfie with her fiancé Taylor Kinney, taken during their holiday trip, along with a sweet note to her followers.

"Thank you to our fans and loved ones who bless us with so much each year," Gaga wrote. "We had a beautiful holiday and are so grateful because it wouldn't have been the same without you in our lives! Happy New Year's Eve."

Lady Gaga's beloved dog Asia graces the sixteenth cover for the latest issue of V Magazine, which Gaga guest-edited herself. In the cover photo shoot with Terry Richardson, Gaga and Asia rock matching hats created by designer Philip Tracey.
