Early reviews for American Horror Story: Hotel are in, and they are glowing, with many critics praising Gaga's outstanding performance.

On Saturday, FX held a private screening for the new season of their hit show, which drew crew and cast members, celebrities, journalists and critics. Lady Gaga was the last to arrive at the star-studded red carpet, wearing a Brandon Maxwell wave gown in custom red crepe. "I'm just so happy to be here and I feel really honored to be part of such a talented cast," she said.

The first episode, titled "Checkin In," was then screened for a selected group of journalists from the world's leading publications and their reaction was overwhelmingly positive.

"Sophisticated, sexy and scary as hell. In. So In. And Lady Gaga is fantastic," Kristin Dos Santos of E! Online wrote, adding: "The first scene with Gaga and Matt Bomer might be my favorite so far of the entire series. Terrifying and jaw-dropping."

"Loved the premiere and I feel like we've only seen the tip of this insane iceberg," tweeted Buzzfeed's Jarett Wieselman. "Gaga is everything you want and more, Paulson rocked my world, there's a murder tableau that rivals Seven and Matt Bomer has never been sexier -- and I've done the research."

Debra Birnbaum simply wrote: "I have two words to say about the first episode of American Horror Story: Lady Gaga."

American Horror Story: Hotel starring Lady Gaga premieres on Wednesday on FX.

Lady Gaga has landed a new movie role! The Oscar-winning actress will star in Ridley Scott's upcoming film about the Gucci family and the murder of the grandson of founder Guccio Gucci, Deadline reports. Gaga is attached to star as Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci, who was tried and convicted of organizing her ex-husband’s assassination on the steps of his office in 1995. She served 18 years before being let out of jail in 2016.

This is the first project Lady Gaga has attached herself to since her big screen debut A Star Is Born, for which she earned a Best Actress nomination at the 91st Academy Awards. She won an Oscar for writing the movie's theme song "Shallow" alongside Andrew Wyatt, Anthony Rossomando, and Mark Ronson.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are the stars of Barnes & Noble's new holiday campaign!

The jazz duo are featured in the bookstore chain's new holiday television ad, which will make its television debut during a morning show on Monday. In the video, Gaga and Mr. Bennett walk the aisles of a Barnes & Noble store while looking for a gift for each other and singing the Frank Loesser classic "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

"Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are two of the most iconic artists in the world today and we're thrilled to bring some of their magic to Barnes & Noble customers," said Glenn Kaplan, Vice President and Creative Director at Barnes & Noble.

Amy Sacks, co-creative director at Roberts + Langer, the company that produced the commercial, added: "This campaign is like a holiday card from Barnes & Noble to all of its customers. We hope that this little gift of a performance by these two incredibly talented artists will put a smile on people's faces. We believe that the true warmth and the connection that Mr. Bennett and Lady Gaga share will be something viewers can feel."

The new commercial was directed by Jonas Akerlund, who had previously worked with Gaga on her music videos for "Paparazzi" and "Telephone."

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at New York City’s historic Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village. Dressed head-to-toe in rainbow, the "Born This Way" singer gave an emotional speech outside the venue where, on June 28, 1969, hundreds of gay and transgender people  fought back against a discriminatory police raid.

"It makes me cry, I am so emotional today," a tearful Gaga told the crowd. "This community has fought and continued to fight a war of acceptance, a war of tolerance, and of the most relentless bravery. You are the definition of courage."

She continued: "The universe brought us together in the spirit of kindness, and together we’re a powerhouse. I hope you celebrate every inch of who you are today. You were born this way and you are superstars! I will continue to fight every day during shows, and even when I'm not on stage, to spread a message that’s actually quite simple: Be kind."

"True love is when you would take a bullet for someone," Gaga added. "And you know I would take a bullet for you any day of the week."

A new Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett album is coming sooner than you expected! During a show in Idaho, the 89-year-old jazz legend announced that a follow-up to their 2014 smash collaboration will be out later this year. Tony added that the record will be released to celebrate his 90th birthday, which is in August.

Last year, Bennett told Vulture that the upcoming collaboration will be a collection of all Cole Porter-penned standards. "We're doing an album. It's going to be all Cole Porter songs," he said. "He was the best writer of all of them in the Great American Songbook. Highly intelligent. We're going to have a lot of fun doing that."

But the new jazz album is not the only new music Gaga is working on at the moment. Mother Monster is also busy recording a brand new pop album, which is due out in 2016 as well.

"I love balancing jazz and pop, I basically have multiple personalities anyway (shocking reveal!) so that rebellious and extreme side of me loves to go back and forth, I never get bored," Gaga said in an exclusive Q&A with Gaga Daily. "Somedays I feel quiet, others I need to rage. Those parts of me will always be there, it's my two-toned soul. Cheek to Cheek will not be my last jazz album, and ARTPOP was not my last pop album. I have many years ahead of me to make music and I feel stronger than ever, like I did when I first moved to Hollywood to make it. I'm a fighter again. Put me in the ring. Ring the bell, I'm ready life!"

RedOne says that one of the songs he produced was supposed to be released as the lead single from Lady Gaga's upcoming album, but that plan was later scrapped. The producer, who is busy promoting his newest single "Don't You Need Somebody," spoke to French MCM about LG5 and revealed that he doesn't know what stage the album is at currently. 

"I don't know where she is musically or mentally right now," he said. "We tried to recreate the magic together in the studio and I think we have some amazing songs, but then again, she's very busy. At some point, one of [the songs] was going to be the first single, but then it changed. I don't know what happened."

RedOne added that recording the first two albums with Gaga was "magical."

"I met he before she was signed to a label," he recalled. "There was no pressure then and she did things without asking questions. After The Fame she became so famous and the circumstances were very different. It wasn't easy in the studio, there were always lots of people around. It became something else and I couldn't continue that way. I can't deny that the first two albums were magical. It was really easy. Working with many artist is easy, but with Gaga, it was something absolutely magical."

Lady Gaga is about to enter the wine business, TMZ reports exclusively. The Super Bowl LI Halftime show performer is launching her own brand of wine, named "Grigio Girls" after a bonus track on her latest album Joanne.

Gaga's company has registered the trademark in December and will produce "wine, prepared wine cocktails, wine coolers, wine punches and prepared alcoholic cocktails."

"Grigio Girls" is a song written about Gaga's longtime friend and creative director at the Haus of Gaga, who is fighting stage four cancer. "It's about how me and all of our girlfriends would get together and cry without her when she's not around. Because we love her so much and we just want to be strong with her."

An official announcement is expected later this year.

Angela Bassett has dished on her experience working with Lady Gaga on the set of American Horror Story. "She's a good kisser," the Emmy-nominated actress said of Gaga during an interview with Access Hollywood.

On the show, Bassett plays Ramona Royale, a powerful woman who teams up with Donovan (Matt Bomer) to take revenge on Gaga's character, The Countess, whom she previously had a romantic relationship with.

"First time I met her, she had a party for the cast and crew," Angela recalled. "She was in this beautiful gown that was sort of see-though and vintage and a diamond necklace and I'm just trying to be cool. She said, 'Are you nervous? I hear you are nervous.' I said, 'Yes.' She said, 'Don't be nervous. I know about these things. I have been there.' I was like, 'Okay!'"

She continued: "Then she brought me out a birthday cake because it happened to be my birthday. And what she was doing to me on this cake... it was an X rated cake!"

Angela admitted that she had been unsure what to expect from filming with a superstar like Gaga, but was pleasantly surprised when she got to meet her.

"She's the nicest person. She is warm and gracious and funny. She makes everybody feel comfortable and she's comfortable with herself. So, no one is tripping, except for me. They said cut and I jumped and she said, 'That's the fastest anyone has jumped out of the bed with me!' and then I grabbed her and kissed her," Bassett said.

Lady Gaga will cover one of Amy Winehouse's signature songs to support the late singer's foundation. The recording will be featured on Amy's YouTube channel, set up to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

"We've got this new YouTube channel where stars all over the world are going to do an Amy track and however many hits we get after the first 2 million, we start making money for the Foundation," Amy's father Mitch Winehouse told The Sun. "Leona Lewis is going to do one, Lady Gaga will do one, and a few other stars."

After hearing Amy had passed away in 2011, Gaga was one of the many musicians to publicly express their sadness and grief. "I am just so devastated and so sad and I really could not speak for 48 hours straight," she said on The View. "I just think that the most unfortunate thing about it all is the way the media spins things like 'here we can learn from Amy’s death.' I don't feel that Amy needed to learn any lessons. I felt that the lesson was for the world to be kinder to the superstar. Everybody was so hard on her and everything that I knew about her was that she was the most lovely and nice and kind woman."

Lady Gaga wore all black as as she filmed a beach carnival scene for American Horror Story: Hotel in Venice Beach, California on Wednesday. Mother Monster was joined by a little boy, who plays one of the many blood-loving children that her character kidnapped andadopted. "They are the most important thing to her," she says. "More than anything, I think she wants to identify in a very human way."

Australian rap sensation Iggy Azalea has shared her thoughts on Lady Gaga's controversial 2013 album ARTPOP.

During a Twitter Q&A on Monday, Iggy was asked what she thought of the album, and she replied: "I think it takes guts to just do whatever you want sonically. I'd like to try and have the same big balls for my album." The rapper also revealed that her favorite Gaga song is "Paparazzi."

Iggy has been a longtime Gaga fan, praising her in interviews and social media posts years before her own career took off with "Fancy" in 2014. "I think Lady Gaga is an amazing singer," she tweeted back in 2011. "And 'Telephone' is the best video I've seen in years."

The first official poster for Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's upcoming movie A Star Is Born is here!

Cooper, who makes his directorial debut in the film, appeared at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Monday to unveil the first poster and trailer for the remake of the 1937 film.

"Gaga's a revelation in this movie," Cooper told the CinemaCon audience. "When I approached her for it, she said, 'Well, we're going to sing live.' And I was like, 'Well, you’ll sing live because I don’t sing.' And she said, 'No, no. What I can't stand in the movies is when you see that it's playback and they’re lip-syncing to it. No, we’re going to sing live.'And deep down, I sort of knew we were going to have to do that, and luckily, I had time and I had wonderful support."

Lady Gaga says that she would like to become a mother soon. The Joanne singer, who is the cover star of the latest issue of the Italian edition of Vanity Fair, told the magazine that giving birth is the most powerful thing in a woman's life and that she's excited about being a mother one day.

"I am thrilled to be 30," Gaga told the mag (translated). "At this age you are freer. You're a woman, and the most powerful thing a woman can do, if she chooses to, is to give life. The thought of being a mother one day excites me. I don't know when it will happen. But, hopefully, soon. But I want send the message that giving birth to a child does not mean to stop being young: it is a high time in the life of a woman, you must live it as a strength, not a weakness. I hope my fans know that I'll still be on stage when I'm 79, sitting at the piano and singing like Tony Bennett. Because I'll never be afraid to show the world my age."

Lady Gaga and Lenny Kravitz are set to headline a concert in Camden, NJ on Thursday, July 28th, as part of the 2016 Democratic National Convention. The event, titled Camden Rising, is set occur just before Secretary Hillary Clinton accepts the Democratic nomination for the presidential election in nearby Philadelphia.

"With the Philadelphia skyline in the background, it is a perfect time to shine a light on Camden’s history and promise," said George Norcross, a member of the Democratic National Committee who is co-hosting the event. "We are happy to be able to invite the staff and volunteers of the Democratic Convention to what we expect to be on of the largest, most exciting events of the convention. The concert will not only be an excellent opportunity for everyone who has helped make the convention a success to relax and celebrate, but it will be a great chance to show the country Camden's amazing turnaround."

The concert is being produced by Live Nation and will take place at the BB&T Pavilion. No word yet on what songs Gaga will be performing.

Lady Gaga dedicated a song to her groom-to-be Taylor Kinney at a show in the Netherlands on Friday night.

"This song is for my fiancé," Gaga said before before belting out an epic rendition the French classic "La Vie En Rose" in front of a sold-out crowd at the North Sea Jazz Festival. "He doesn't, you know, maybe like big displays but... I love you so much. And when I'm with you, I see life in pink."

Lady Gaga met Taylor Kinney on the set of her music video for "Yoü And I" back in 2011. After being together for more than three years, the couple got engaged this Valentine's Day. "I really can't imagine being with anyone other than who I'm with right now," Gaga told Howard Stern in December. "He is the right guy. I have that feeling. I just know it." 

Lady Gaga has confirmed that she has signed a deal to perform at the Park Theater at Monte Carlo as part of her very first Las Vegas residency. The new show will be designed specifically for the venue and the first concerts are scheduled for December 2018.

"It's the land of Elvis, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Elton John, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli," Gaga said. "It has been a life-long dream of mine to play Las Vegas. I am humbled to be a part of a historical line-up of performers, and to have the honor of creating a new show unlike anything Vegas has ever seen before. I'll tell you exactly what I told my MGM and Park Theater partners: you can count on this performer always for one thing… I'll leave my heart on the stage every single night. Thank you to my fans for always believing in me. Meet me in Las Vegas baby, we did it!"

Arlo Guthrie, whose father Woody wrote the iconic American anthem "This Land Is Your Land," praised Lady Gaga's choice to perform the song at Super Bowl 51.

While at an intimate concert in Southern California on Sunday night, Guthrie spoke candidly about Gaga's Halftime performance.

"I was watching the Super Bowl. And there was Lady Gaga. And she started singing one of my dad's songs, and I thought, 'Whoa...! Lady Gaga had only done a little bit of it, but still... it was just so fun for us. I remember a couple of days later, there were articles in the paper, 'Lady Gaga Introducing Subversive Material on TV'... and I sat back, and I thought, if the idea that this land is made for you and me becomes subversive, we're f***ed!"

Applause rose through the venue as he continued, "There's just no other way to say it. So let's get into a little subversion here for ya!" He strummed his guitar and began singing the folk classic, the audience singing back every familiar word.

Lady Gaga's upcoming Joanne world tour is shaping up to be a big hit, with most European dates selling out within minutes. Tickets for the European leg of the concert tour, supporting Gaga's latest album of the same name, went on sale on Friday morning and are now reportedly all gone. "We are definitely dancing… I put all my heart, all my pain, all my messages from the other realm that I hear of… what they tell me to tell the world and I put it into music that I believe to be so fun and you know, energetically really pure. I want people to dance and feel happy. I would like to put out music that a big chunk of the world will hear, and it will become a part of their daily lives and make them happy every single day."

On the process of making her new album:
"We made a lot of the record in my studio house. So I have a house where it's Frank Zappa's old studio, it's a live room, it's a big studio, it's beautiful. And I would be upstairs on the porch, outside the kitchen, and Bloodpop would come up and he'd go, 'Okay, come on, that's enough, off the porch,' and I would cry and I would say, 'I'm miserable, I'm sad, I’m depressed,' and he'd go, 'I know, and we're gonna go make some music now. And then I'd go downstairs and I would write. This album is such a display of not only how you can reframe the way that you view the world, but I promise and I hope, that the love that was around me in the process of making this album is something that other people feel, that they know that artistically, like, you know how producers are, if one guy’s working on it, or one girl’s working on it, they don’t want anyone else to work on it, they don’t wanna share, they, everybody gets cocky, there was none of that. These records got passed around to so many different people, there were so many different iterations of these songs because we all wanted it to be perfect and literally nobody cared who put their fingerprints on it, as long as it was the dopest thing that we could give to the world and that it was meaningful, authentic, and completely me."

On working with Max Martin for the first time on "Stupid Love":
"He's an amazing producer. I've never worked with him, I've always sort of gone, 'I write my own music, I produce myself, I don't need to work with Max, right?' And I decided to stop being an asshole, meet him at least, you know? Basically, I sang over a track that Bloodpop made. We sent over what I sang to Max, Max picked some parts out, sent it back to me, and then I wrote lyrics and used some of the melody that he chose that he sent back to me and I kind of spliced it all together and then I went to his studio, and sat down at a piano and I played 'Stupid Love' on a piano with chords. And I looked at him and I said, 'That's what I've got for you,' and to me, this song can only stand on it’s two feet, even with a great track, if you can play it on a piano and it still sounds like a hit. And he was-he was like, I love it, get in the booth. I warmed up my voice, got in the booth, I sang it, and what you’re hearing on 'Stupid Love' is what we did that day."

Lady Gaga is the latest superstar to ride shotgun with James Corden on The Late Late Show's wildly popular segment "Carpool Karaoke." The duo took a drive around Los Angeles singing and dancing to some of Gaga's biggest hits including "Bad Romance," "Born This Way" and "Poker Face," as well as music from her brand new album Joanne.

Not only is Lady Gaga the new star of Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story, but she's also a massive fan of his new show Scream Queens and wants to make a guest appearance on the series. 

Speaking to Extra at the premiere event for American Horror Story: Hotel, the Emmy-winning producer said: "She's obsessed with Scream Queens! She keeps  asking me, 'Why haven't you written me a cameo? I want to go and be a Kappa girl.' Never say never, but I love that she loves it."

On working with Gaga on Hotel, he added: "She's the most professional, the most hard working… She shows up every day hours before she has to be there. She kisses and hugs every crew member before she starts her day."

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres on Wednesday on FX.
