<p>
	Lady Gaga has a hit song with producer Boys Noize. Speaking to <em>Boiler Room</em>, the German electronic music producer and DJ, real name Alexander Ridha, <a href="https://hook32.com/2018/lady-gaga-boys-noize-hit/" rel="external" title="Lady Gaga 'wrote a hit' with producer Boys Noize">praised</a> Gaga as one of the most down-to-earth artists he has ever worked with and revealed that they recorded a track for one of Gaga’s upcoming projects.
</p>

<p>
	"[Lady Gaga] is so cool," he said. "She is definitely one of the coolest artists I met that is ridiculously famous, but so down to the ground. She asked me, 'You know [UK techno DJ] Surgeon?' and I was like, 'Are you f—ing with me?', and she was like 'Yeah, he's my friend, he opened some of my shows.'"
</p>

<p>
	He continued: "She's down to techno and what's crazy is that she got into modular stuff too. I brought my modular system—and she spilled water on it, by the way—but it broke the ice and then we wrote a f—ing hit. But now she's into modular, she bought a system, and we used that on some of her songs."
</p>

<p>
	Lady Gaga and Boys Noize were spotted in a recording studio back in April. Gaga is currently working on a follow-up to her 2016 album <em>Joanne</em>, as well as two other projects: the soundtrack for her debut film <em>A Star Is Born</em> with Bradley Cooper, and a second jazz collection with Tony Bennet.

<p>
	The wait for Lady Gaga's highly-anticipated new movie <em>A Star Is Born</em> is almost over. With less than a week until the release, Warner Bros. has rolled out yet another TV spot featuring a snippet of "Always Remember Us This Way" (Fun fact: this is our favorite song from the movie).
</p>

<p>
	Co-written with Hillary Lindsey ("Million Reasons"), the ballad is one of the 18 original songs on the official soundtrack for <em>A Star Is Born</em>. Some songs on the album don't appear on the movie—Gaga calls them "treats" for the fans.

<p>
	Lady Gaga has premiered her brand new single "Stupid Love." The track, produced by Bloodpop and Tchami, serves as the lead single from her upcoming album <em>Chromatica</em>, out later this year.

<p>
	Gaga debuted the song along with its music video, shot entirely on an iPhone. "We had a blast shooting on iPhone 11 Pro. It creates a lot of new possibilities and freedoms for us to explore," director Daniel Askill <a href="http://www.justjared.com/2020/02/28/lady-gagas-new-stupid-love-video-was-shot-on-an-iphone/" rel="external nofollow">told</a> <em>JustJared</em>. "Shooting on iPhone is new territory and as a filmmaker it’s kind of an unexpected thing to do because there’s a pretty standardized way to make music videos, television commercials and films, on bigger, much more expensive cameras."

	Cooper, who makes his directorial debut in the film, appeared at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Monday to unveil the first poster and trailer for the remake of the 1937 film.
</p>

<p>
	"Gaga's a revelation in this movie," Cooper told the CinemaCon audience. "When I approached her for it, she said, 'Well, we're going to sing live.' And I was like, 'Well, you’ll sing live because I don’t sing.' And she said, 'No, no. What I can't stand in the movies is when you see that it's playback and they’re lip-syncing to it. No, we’re going to sing live.'And deep down, I sort of knew we were going to have to do that, and luckily, I had time and I had wonderful support."

<p>
	Young pop star and Miley's baby sister Noah Cyrus covered Lady Gaga's hit single "Million Reasons" at the kick off of Katy Perry's <em>Witness</em> tour, which she opened for. Noah took the stage at Montreal's Bell Center on Tuesday night to perform a beautiful rendition of the power ballad in front of thousands of KatyCats waiting for the "Bon Appétit" singer to hit the stage.
</p>

<p>
	Noah has been a lifelong Lady Gaga fan, calling Mother Monster her biggest musical influence and inspiration. "I've always looked up to her. When 'LoveGame' was released, I freaked out," she told <em>V Magazine</em> earlier this year. "I have been stuck on <em>Joanne</em>. Gaga has just killed it and this year, with that album, she has really inspired me. She has always inspired me."

<p>
	Famed disco guitarist and producer Nile Rodgers shares his experience of working with Lady Gaga on new songs for her upcoming album, due out next year.
</p>

<p>
	"She's the greatest, I love her," he <a href="http://www.timeout.com.hk/music/features/74835/nile-rogers-on-disco-lady-gaga-and-his-return-to-clockenflap.html" rel="external nofollow">told</a> <em>Time Out</em>. "How can you not love someone who sings her ass off, comes to the studio looking like a million dollars but will stay there all night if you want. And just let you change a song, rewrite it and let you do all sorts of stuff, and she's cool with it. She'll experiment, she's a real musician – she’s what every composer and producer wants to work with."
</p>

<p>
	Lady Gaga recently made headlines when she covered Chic's "I Want Your Love," which Rodgers co-wrote with Bernard Edwards in 1978.

<p>
	Lady Gaga's next studio album is set for a 2016 release. Besides Rodgers, RedOne is another producer confirmed for the project.
</p>

<p>
	"With Gaga, I'm fully committed until we're done – we're just going to work on writing songs until we get hopefully the best album of the decade," RedOne said. "The new material feels great. And that's what it is like with me and her – when we both feel great, it's incredible. A lot of it is to do with trust, no ego, just love for the music. And when it's fun and respectful, putting the egos aside, it's magic."

<p>
	The news that Lady Gaga will be paying tribute to David Bowie at this year's Grammy awards was met with collective excitement from most Gaga and Bowie fans. Still, some music lovers were not so happy about the Grammy's choice of a performer and Nile Rodgers, who serves as the musical director for the tribute, had a perfect response for them.
</p>

<p>
	"Gaga sings the paint off the walls, and is not just a good singer, she is a great artist," Rodgers wrote in a Facebook post. "These negative remarks sound like when Bowie decided to work with 'the disco guy,' or when I decided to work with Madonna. I find it so weird that people don't get Gaga's greatness. I've played wth her with symphony orchestras, Elton John and others and she killed it every time? What do you guys think makes a great artist? I'm scratching my head. Give me 50 Gagas any day of the week!"
</p>

<p>
	Diane Warren and Lady Gaga have written a new song together! Speaking to <em><a href="http://www.musicweek.com/publishing/read/that-s-not-the-way-i-want-to-write-songs-diane-warren-on-the-co-writing-revolution/072676" rel="external nofollow">MusicWeek</a></em>, the legendary songwriter revealed that the two penned a second track, following the critically-acclaimed "Til It Happens to You."
</p>

<p>
	"I'm not against co-writing with an artist," Warren, who is known for writing songs entirely on her own, said. "I wrote something with Lady Gaga that’s coming this year. So, every now and then, I’ll write with somebody. But I won’t get in those rooms. I won't go to a writing camp and sit with five people on a track."

</p>

<p>
	We can exclusively confirm that the track will be featured on the soundtrack for Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's highly-anticipated remake of <em>A Star Is Born</em>.
</p>

<p>
	Gaga and Warren first collaborated in 2015 on "Til It Happens to You," a powerful song about sexual assault on college campuses across the United States. The song received universal critical acclaim and won an Emmy Award for Best Original Music and Lyrics. The track also earned an Oscar nomination, but lost to Sam Smith's James Bond theme song.
</p>

<p>
	Diane Warren has one of the longest and most successful careers in pop songwriting. She's responsible for such iconic hits as Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me," Toni Braxton's "Un-break My Heart," Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time," Ace of Base's "Don't Turn Around," Christina Aguilera's "I Turn to You," LeAnn Rimes's "Can't Fight the Moonlight" and many more.
</p>

<p>
	<em>Correction: An earlier version of the article stated that the song is called "I Will Never Love Again," which was confirmed false by Diane Warren. "I Will Never Love Again" is a different song from the upcoming movie.</em>

<p>
	Lady Gaga was the first star to grace Oprah Winfrey’s national tour, <em>2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus</em> in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. Gaga candidly chatted about the specifics of her current mental health, medication, and self-care regimen during the interview, which brought both Gaga and Oprah to tears. Watch the hour-long conversation or read excerpts from it below.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>On what caused her PTSD:</strong><br>
	I was raped repeatedly when I was 19 years old, and I also developed PTSD as a result of being raped and also not processing that trauma. I did not have anyone help me, I did not have a therapist, I did not have a psychiatrist, I did not have a doctor help me through it. I all of a sudden became a star and was traveling the world going from hotel room to garage to limo to stage, and I never dealt with it, and then all of a sudden I started to experience this incredible intense pain throughout my entire body that mimicked the illness I felt after I was raped.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>On what helps her get through the pain:</strong><br>
	I know that this is controversial in a lot of ways, but medicine really helped me. And I think a lot of people are afraid of medicine for their brains to help them. And I really want to just erase the stigma around this because I am sick of saying it over and over and  over again. And what moves me so much in this space, and why I want to work so heavily and much more thoroughly through it in the future, is that not everybody has access to these things. And not everybody has the money for these things. And I want the money for it, I want the best doctors in the world, and I want us to understand the brain and all get on the same page about it so that Gen Z does not have to deal with this the way that we are right now. Mental health is a crisis.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>On whether she is working on new music:</strong><br>
	I still am going to make music. Don't worry.
</p>

	<strong>On hearing Bradley sing for the first time:</strong><br>
	I was blown away,, because the truth is that there’s people that can technically sing perfectly and have no soul. And with Bradley, he just sings from his soul, and he knows how to tell a story when he’s singing, and I heard it right away. And I knew in that moment–you know, I’m kind of a bit of a snob when it comes to watching actors play rock star, but I’m telling you, I was like, this man knows how to be a rock star.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>On the final song in the film:</strong><br>
	It's very special. It’s a song that he writes for her. It has a very tragic twist at the end. We shot it at The Shrine, which Bradley wanted to do as an homage to the Judy Garland version. On that day, my friend Sonja who had been battling cancers for years, her friend called me and I could hear her moaning in the background. And they said she's not doing well and I thought she was dying, so I left the set. I can’t believe I didn’t even stop to see Bradley, and I got in my car and started driving, and I missed her by ten minutes.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>On whether A Star Is Born has influenced her future music:</strong><br>
	I've already written some music. You're gonna have to wait and find out. But you know, my music always encapsulates a time in my life.

<p>
	A never-before-seen video of Lady Gaga's performance of the Billy Strayhorn classic "Lush Life" has surfaced online and it's absolutely stunning. The performance was professionally recorded during Gaga and Tony Bennett's concert at the Grand Place of Brussels, Belgium, held to promote their joint album <em>Cheek to Cheek</em> back in 2014. It is rumored that the footage was originally planned to be a part of a documentary film about the album, but the project was later scrapped.

<p class="app-no-display"><img src="https://gagadaily.com/uploads/stories/monthly_2015_10/lady-gaga-iamnotjust.jpg.9dc2f51eaf7b6929e3740b4b481c231c.jpg" /></p>

<p>Lady Gaga stopped by Yale University's campus on Saturday for the Emotion Revolution Summit, organized by the Born This Way Foundation in collaboration with the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. The event aims to "ignite important conversations about making schools a place where all students can thrive."</p>
<p>Check out highlights from the conversation or watch it below (Gaga's part starts at 59:00)...</p>
<p><strong>On what made her start the Born This Way foundation:</strong><br>I started writing Born This Way and the experience was extremely therapeutic for me to reveal to myself things that I didn't always want to admit. I think a lot of what we're doing here today and what I'm hoping that you all take away from this today is that you should not need feel like a victim in this situation. In fact, nobody can help you more than you can help yourself. And when I was writing Born This Way I was asking myself how I really felt, and what I discovered that there was a lot of repressed anger, and rage, and sadness that I had not dealt with for years. I looked out into the sea of my amazing fans every night and I saw tiny mirrors in a disco ball reflecting back at me. I saw lots of different versions of myself. And the truth is that we share in our stress, we share in our anxiety, and we're here today because it is the parts of our brain that handle stress, that also handle our physical pain, our emotional pain, it comes from the same place. We want to put it out there that there is a strategy for everyone to feel better. But how can we stop telling kids how to do things, and what they should do and start listening to what it is that we can do for you.</p>
<p><strong>On what Emotion Revolution is about:</strong><br>What I wanna know is, how can we impress to people that this really isn't as complicated as they think it is? I know that we're not holding sick children  and saying "Your check goes here." What we're saying is that this is an important issue, emotional intelligence affects your future, and your opportunities, and your ability to live a happy life. It affected my ability to live a happy life, it still does. And these kids that are doing it best, they are the ones that are inhaling this philosophy with all of them. It's not just about being nice one day. This is about every day of your life as a student and as a teacher revealing yourself, revealing your emotions to you and to the people around you that you're actually listening when they're talking. </p>
<p><strong>On the importance of being able to say 'no':</strong><br>I have some sort of anxiety, depression, something... that's changed my whole live. I take an antidepressant medication for it. I have tried to get off of it, my doctor always tells me not to. That it's not safe for me to, whenever I've tried to I've gotten very neurotic, manic, sick. So, I have had to study all different types of ways. I started looking into ayurvedic medicine, I started looking into mindfulness and meditation, I started looking into a mantra, I do acupuncture, I do cupping, I pray sometimes, I make music, I write poetry, I'm an actress now (that's helped me a lot!). These are the things I started to do but what helped me the most that I want to impress upon all of you is that realized that part of my identity is saying 'no' to things I don't want to do. And you're all in school and you all a lot of teach and a lot of people around you that tell you all day that you have to do but it is your right to choose what  you do and don't do. It's your right to choose what you believe in and don't believe in. It's your right to curate your life and your own life and your own perspective.</p>
<p>I have had to make decisions like, "Why am I unhappy? Okay, Stefani, Gaga, Hybrid person, why are you unhappy? Why is it that you want to quit music?" Well, I really don't like selling these fragrances, perfumes. I don't like wasting my time spending days just shaking people's hands and smiling, taking selfies. It feels shallow to my existence. I hae a lot more to offer than my image. I don't like being used to make people money. I feel sad when I'm overworked and that I've just become a moneymaking machine and that my passion and my creativity take a back seat. That makes me unhappy. So what did I do? I started to say 'no.' I'm not doing that. I don't wanna do that. I'm not taking that picture. I'm not going to that event. I'm not standing by that, because that's not what I stand for. And slowly but surely I remembered who I am. And then you go home, and you look in the mirror and you're like, 'Yes! I can go to bed with you every night, because I know that person.' That person has balls, that person has integrity, that person has an opinion. That person doesn't get a text from somebody and say 'Oh my god, they wrote this, and they sent this emoji, should I write this back, what do you think, is that okay?' This is the age that we live in. We're not actually communicating with each other, we're unconsciously communicating lies.</p>
<p><strong>On the power of words on the Internet: </strong><br>What if we told all just told Twitter that they had to have a standard of morality? From an artist's mouth, I am telling you that freedom of speech is overrated. What you choose to do with your voice in this world is extremely powerful. We have seen throughout history how dangerous it can be to use your voice for evil. Now we all have a platform. But what really scares me is these massive corporations that just have no standarts for values at all. "It's not my problem, it's your problem. But I'll take your money and we'll go public." Is that what we're gonna do? Is that what we stand for as a generation? Oh, it's fine, because I still get to post my pictures? Nobody is going to remember what you tweeted, but you will never forget all that hateful s--t that you read every single day that made you sick at school. </p>

	Lady Gaga performed at the Toronto International Festival during the official premiere of her new documentary <em>Gaga: Five Foot Two</em> on Friday night. Gaga took the stage to give a stunning acoustic performance of her 2009 hit single "Bad Romance" just minutes before the Chris Moukarbel-directed doc made its debut at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre.
</p>

<p>
	"It's a difficult thing to let somebody into your life, and I think it happened slowly and organically, and there were points where she could've pulled the plug on it, but she allowed it to happen and then we had a finished film," Moukarbel said of working with Gaga on the documentary, while she added: "It was a challenging time. There were extreme highs and my life has completely changed in the most wonderful way that I would never take back, but it also included the lowest of lows."

	Lady Gaga gave a beautiful speech as she accepted the Artist Award at Grammy Museum's annual Jane Ortner Education Award Luncheon in Beverly Hills on Monday. During the speech, the singer thanked her vocal teachers, her band and her friends, and urged the audience not to pay attention to fame and money because it "ain't s--t" compared to the music.
</p>

<p>
	"I would like to say, in the spirit of this wonderful evening and all of the blessings that we have today," Gaga said. "I think it's so great for us all to leave tonight with an inner sense of inspiration to help other people feel a genuine authentic love for music that is beyond becoming famous, beyond making money, beyond becoming a star, beyond looking like you have it all. Because I can tell you that stuff ain't s--t compared to the records. The records are where it's at."

	Introduced by her mother Cynthia Germanotta, Lady Gaga accepted the honor as <em>Woman of the Year</em> at Billboard's <em>Women in Music</em> in New York City last week. The star-studded event aired on Friday night on Lifetime — watch the video, including Gaga's beautiful performance of "Til It Happens to You," or read her touching speech below!

		<iframe allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="270" width="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ew5hRpNvtsQ?feature=oembed"></iframe>
	</div>
</div>

<p>
	"I don't think I've ever dreamed of anything more than being a performer. I don't really know why. I'm so sorry. I'm a very emotional person. I think that's what you are as an artist. You have a lot of strength, but you're sort of intrinsically very emotional.
</p>

<p>
	"I never thought anything like this would have ever happened to me or my family. My grandma's here tonight, Angeline. My grandfather made shoes, and my grandma was by his side every day for 60 years. My father was an entrepreneur. My mother was a dancer who didn't make it and then decided to sell telephone lines. So in short, my family was willing to do anything to give my sister and I everything that we had. Music was the single thing that kept me going in my life, my music education, my discipline. It was a warm blanket on my darkest days. Something so powerful for me.
</p>

<p>
	"I have so many people I'd like to thank today. All of the table, Kenny, Bobby, beautiful wife. Taylor. My grandma. My father. Tony. Marty. Jody Gerson, I'm so proud of you, that you're winning this evening. You deserve this so much. Jimmy Iovine. Vincent Herbert. My attorneys. Interscope Records. Universal.
</p>

<p>
	"But what I really want to say is that it is really hard sometimes for women in music. It's like a fuckin' boys club that we just can't get into. Sorry, grandma. But yeah, I tried for so long. I tried for so long. I just really wanted to be taken seriously as a musician for my intelligence more than my body ever in this business. To be here today means that I'm recognized for my songwriting and for my legacy, which means a lot because you don't always feel like -- when you're working -- that people believe that you have a musical background, that you understand what you're doing because you're female. And that's why tonight is so important. Because women provide a wisdom to music that is very unique and special. It is a perspective that no other person can have because we bear life, and we go through things that no one goes through. And more importantly because it's right, because we're all equal.
</p>

<p>
	"But thank you for this moment tonight so that my family can appreciate the hard work that I've put in, that's kept me away from them, my passion. And I hope that any young girl or boy that's watching this tonight knows that -- listen, this industry might never get better over time. There's all kinds of problems all over the world. We can't expect things to be perfect. But what you can do is have the heart. No matter what, you can have the heart. And it might be hard, and it might be ruthless, and it might be the ugliest thing you ever saw. But if you want it, you can do it. It's there. And that's all I want everyone to take away from tonight, and the most important thing for me being here was the one song that I got to sing that I would maybe in this moment get to give something back to the world for everything you've given to me and my family -- thank you, from the bottom of my heart. More than anything, I just never thought my family would have the kind of blessings that we have to take care of our future. So thank you.
</p>

<p>
	"To my vocal teacher, Don Lawrence, who's been my mentor since I was a baby girl, always looked out for me. To anyone that's ever believed in me. And I'd like to say thank you also to everyone that didn't believe in me. Thank you. Because there was a lot of people. Probably more than believed, and you gave me a fire in my belly so strong I couldn't wait to prove you wrong, I'll tell you. 'Cause I might not be a lot of things, but I can write songs, and I can sing.
</p>

<p>
	"Support your children in making music. If they have a creative instinct, don't ask them to deny it, because it will make them so sad and depressed. It's part of your life destiny if you're born with that gene. I am so grateful to my parents that they didn't deny me my right to express myself at a young age -- thank you. And to my sister Natalie who's here tonight who I'm so proud of -- who knew? She's the designer. She does fashion. I do music. It was a creative family. It's something different. Thank you for being here. Thank you for honoring me. I am an Italian-American girl from New York who was the first to go to college in their generation with my family, so thank you for everything and God bless. To the next Woman of the Year!"

<p>
	Mark Ronson says Lady Gaga is showing a different side of her voice on her upcoming album. Speaking to <a href="http://www.apolaroidstory.com/2016/09/04/ronson-take-two/" rel="external nofollow">A Polaroid Story</a>, the British musician, who is the main collaborator on Gaga's yet-untitled record, revealed that the singer sounds "husky" and "wounded" on the songs they had written together.
</p>

<p>
	"I can't really say much about [the album]," Ronson said. "There's some incredible people working on it, but I feel like she's the artist, it's her place when she thinks the time is right to tell the story."

<p>
	He continued: "But it’s some of my favorite music I’ve ever worked on. It’s like this different side of her voice that I guess I never really heard before. Because the songs are so personal, it’s quite husky and wounded and not as maybe massive as some of the other recordings. It’s a voice that gives you a hug almost."

<p>

	Mark Ronson says Lady Gaga's upcoming album is "pretty deep." The hitmaker, who worked on most songs on Gaga's new record and is likely its executive producer, raved about collaborating with the superstar in a new <a href="http://www.buro247.sg/culture/insiders/mark-ronson-interview-singapore-2016.html" rel="external nofollow">interview</a> with <em>Buro 24/7</em>'s Tracy Phillips.

	"I went in on the first day with very open expectations," Mark recalled. "I didn't know if we would work together for two weeks or six months. I knew she was very talented, I'd seen her perform and knew how seriously she takes music. She's really a muso at heart, and is happiest when she's sitting behind the piano yelling out chord changes to the drummer or whatever. But we started working and it kind of exceeded any expectations of what I thought the music was going to be like."

	He continued: "It's been one of my favourite records to work on and some of the people who have come in to play on it are my favourite musicians, writers and some of her favourites. I think it's just really good music and probably a record for people who might not have realised that her music had something for them — at least based on the small amount of people who've heard it so far. It's definitely pretty deep musically for sure."

	Earlier this week, Lady Gaga <a href="https://gagadaily.com/story/news/lady-gaga-perfect-illusion-new-single/" rel="">announced</a> that the lead single from the yet-untitled album is called "Perfect Illusion" and will be released in September. The track was co-produced by Gaga, Ronson, Bloodpop, and Kevin Parker.
