Lady Gaga was the first star to grace Oprah Winfrey’s national tour, 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. Gaga candidly chatted about the specifics of her current mental health, medication, and self-care regimen during the interview, which brought both Gaga and Oprah to tears. On what caused her PTSD:
I was raped repeatedly when I was 19 years old, and I also developed PTSD as a result of being raped and also not processing that trauma. I did not have anyone help me, I did not have a therapist, I did not have a psychiatrist, I did not have a doctor help me through it. I all of a sudden became a star and was traveling the world going from hotel room to garage to limo to stage, and I never dealt with it, and then all of a sudden I started to experience this incredible intense pain throughout my entire body that mimicked the illness I felt after I was raped.

On what helps her get through the pain:
I know that this is controversial in a lot of ways, but medicine really helped me. And I think a lot of people are afraid of medicine for their brains to help them. And I really want to just erase the stigma around this because I am sick of saying it over and over and  over again. And what moves me so much in this space, and why I want to work so heavily and much more thoroughly through it in the future, is that not everybody has access to these things. And not everybody has the money for these things. And I want the money for it, I want the best doctors in the world, and I want us to understand the brain and all get on the same page about it so that Gen Z does not have to deal with this the way that we are right now. Mental health is a crisis. 

On whether she is working on new music:
I still am going to make music. Don't worry.

Cheek to Cheek has been a massive success for the duo, reaching top ten in over 20 countries and receiving glorious reviews from jazz critics. Continuing her string of high-profile successes since the release of Cheek to Cheek in 2014, Lady Gaga offered a powerful rendition of the National Anthem at Sunday's Super Bowl 50. Lady Gaga continues to fly high on the charts following her show-stopping Super Bowl LI Halftime performance on Sunday.

Gaga's latest release, Joanne, flies up the Billboard 200 and lands at No. 2 this week. Highlighting how successful her performance was, sales of the album have surged a whopping 1000% in the chart week, with movement of almost 70,000 units. This easily places Joanne as one of the best-selling albums of 2017 so far.

Outside of her latest LP, Mother Monster's entire catalogue of iconic pop albums have made big sales gains. Lady Gaga's show-stopping performance is already considered the best rendition of the National Anthem since Whitney Houston's career-defining musical moment in 1991. While the performance was just hours ago, it has already rocketed well past 30 million views online.

Mother Monster will pivot back to a more familiar stage next, with a high-profile Bowie tribute at the Grammys. Gaga is largely expected to steal the show with a 7-minute performance, which airs just one week from today. By the end of February, the megastar will have performed for over 200 million viewers since the start of the month.

Tickets for the North American leg of Lady Gaga's upcoming Joanne World tour went on sale on Monday, and much like the tour's European leg, all dates are now sold out. Due to this overwhelming fan response, additional concerts have been confirmed in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Toronto as well as at New York's Citi Field and Boston's Fenway Park. Additional sold out shows confirmed in Vancouver, Edmonton, Tacoma, San Francisco, Sacramento, Omaha, St. Paul, Cleveland, Chicago and Montreal.

"Monsters, we sold out every ticket to every show that went on sale today in North America," Gaga wrote on Twitter in response to the news. "Love you!"

The Joanne World Tour will kick off on August 1st in Vancouver, Canada.

Lady Gaga brought her ENIGMA show to Miami, Florida on Saturday. The 11-time Grammy winner headlined a pre-Super Bowl concert called Super Saturday Night, and played a two-hour set, which included her classics such as "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face," as well as her most recent smash hit "Shallow."

"I wish so much love and so much luck to everyone that’s doing the halftime show, to both the teams that are playing each other in the Super Bowl," Gaga said of Sunday's game. "They're all champions."

Mother Monster looked divine in a peach backless gown as she arrived at the event with Diane Warren, who helped her write the Oscar-nominated "Til It Happens to You."

Gaga was in tears at the luncheon when Oscars producer David Hill came up on stage to praise her performance of the national anthem at Sunday's Super Bowl, saying it was "the best rendition I have ever heard, and, trust me, I've heard a lot." The singer was so overwhelmed at the unexpected praise from Hill, who had produced past Super Bowls, that her jaw dropped and she covered her face as tears rolled down her cheeks.

A star is born! Viral sensation Charlotte Awbery, who gained attention earlier this month with her impromptu subway rendition of Lady Gaga's hit "Shallow," made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show on Wednesday. She performed her rendition of the Oscar-winning classic and sat down for a quick chat with Ellen.

Charlotte told Ellen that she's been singing for fifteen years, adding: "My dad always said to me, 'Just sing wherever you are and never give up,' he was right."

Lady Gaga says she wouldn't be the artist she is today without David Bowie. In a new interview with the Associated Press, Gaga spoke about finding out that her latest song "Til It Happens to You" was nominated for an Oscar while listening to one of Bowie's songs, and cited the late musician as the main influence on her career.

"I was up in bed at 3 am to wait for the nominations to be announced and I started to work on the David Bowie tribute I'm going to do at the Grammys," Gaga recalled. "I was on my laptop editing, working, making this mixtape for Nile Rodges to submit to him my idea for the beginning of the musical direction. And I got so distracted listening to David Bowie. It was the first time I started really letting myself cry and be affected by it. And then I looked up and it said 'Til It Happens to You' on the TV. And I had the headphones on, and 'Scary Monsters' was playing and it was so cool."

She continued: "It was a magic moment, because I would never exist today without David Bowie and for him to have been in my ears the moment I saw that... I'm just honored to be here, really, and be recognized as a songwriter."

Gaga debuted the song along with its music video, shot entirely on an iPhone. "We had a blast shooting on iPhone 11 Pro. It creates a lot of new possibilities and freedoms for us to explore," director Daniel Askill told JustJared. "Shooting on iPhone is new territory and as a filmmaker it’s kind of an unexpected thing to do because there’s a pretty standardized way to make music videos, television commercials and films, on bigger, much more expensive cameras."

Lady Gaga's latest hit single "Million Reasons," which currently sits at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, has received an electronic makeover from the incredible Chew FU! The "refix," as the NYC-based DJ calls it, gives Gaga's emotional ballad an infectious beat and takes it straight to the dance floor.

"I love the song, and her Super Bowl performance was incredible," Chew Fu told Gaga Daily. "This remix happened organically. I got the acapella, took a listen, and right away was hearing a chord progression that I just had to try and catch on my piano. Once I played that and heard that back I was curious what the next step should be and I just kept going and going till I was finished."

This isn't Chew FU's first time reimagining a Gaga track. He previously collaborated with the singer on the fan favorite remixes of "Bad Romance" and "Born This Way," as well as the Marilyn Manson duet on "LoveGame," which Gaga performed live during the Monster Ball.

On the sound of her new album:
"We are definitely dancing… I put all my heart, all my pain, all my messages from the other realm that I hear of… what they tell me to tell the world and I put it into music that I believe to be so fun and you know, energetically really pure. I want people to dance and feel happy. I would like to put out music that a big chunk of the world will hear, and it will become a part of their daily lives and make them happy every single day."

On the process of making her new album:
"We made a lot of the record in my studio house. So I have a house where it's Frank Zappa's old studio, it's a live room, it's a big studio, it's beautiful. And I would be upstairs on the porch, outside the kitchen, and Bloodpop would come up and he'd go, 'Okay, come on, that's enough, off the porch,' and I would cry and I would say, 'I'm miserable, I'm sad, I’m depressed,' and he'd go, 'I know, and we're gonna go make some music now. And then I'd go downstairs and I would write. This album is such a display of not only how you can reframe the way that you view the world, but I promise and I hope, that the love that was around me in the process of making this album is something that other people feel, that they know that artistically, like, you know how producers are, if one guy’s working on it, or one girl’s working on it, they don’t want anyone else to work on it, they don’t wanna share, they, everybody gets cocky, there was none of that. These records got passed around to so many different people, there were so many different iterations of these songs because we all wanted it to be perfect and literally nobody cared who put their fingerprints on it, as long as it was the dopest thing that we could give to the world and that it was meaningful, authentic, and completely me."

On working with Max Martin for the first time on "Stupid Love":
"He's an amazing producer. I've never worked with him, I've always sort of gone, 'I write my own music, I produce myself, I don't need to work with Max, right?' And I decided to stop being an asshole, meet him at least, you know? Basically, I sang over a track that Bloodpop made. We sent over what I sang to Max, Max picked some parts out, sent it back to me, and then I wrote lyrics and used some of the melody that he chose that he sent back to me and I kind of spliced it all together and then I went to his studio, and sat down at a piano and I played 'Stupid Love' on a piano with chords. And I looked at him and I said, 'That's what I've got for you,' and to me, this song can only stand on it’s two feet, even with a great track, if you can play it on a piano and it still sounds like a hit. And he was-he was like, I love it, get in the booth. I warmed up my voice, got in the booth, I sang it, and what you’re hearing on 'Stupid Love' is what we did that day."

Mother Monster says her "Gaga" side is getting ready for the next album.

The singer took to her Twitter account on Monday to chat with Little Monsters, including Daniel, who asked, "You actually are a Lady, but where is Gaga?" The Lady responded, "She's asleep. Resting up. For the next album."

Lady Gaga is currently on tour with Tony Bennett promoting their massively successful jazz album Cheek to Cheek, which has recently passed the million sales mark worldwide.

"Cheek to Cheek will not be my last jazz album, and ARTPOP was not my last pop album," she told Gaga Daily in an exclusive interview last year. "I have many years ahead of me to make music and I feel stronger than ever, like I did when I first moved to Hollywood to make it. I'm a fighter again. Put me in the ring. Ring the bell, I'm ready life!"

Lady Gaga and her younger sister have partnered with Mattel to produce a limited-edition celebrity doll as part of the Monster High lineup. Designed by the Germanotta sisters, the doll will be in the likess of Lady Gaga and is aimed at encouraging girls to be their most unique selves.

This new doll is the first project between Monster High and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation who announced a partnership in October 2015 to inspire empowerment and acceptance among young people. All proceeds of the doll will benefit the Born This Way Foundation to inspire a kinder, more accepting and braver world.

"I wanted to design ever since I was a little kid, and I have such a love for illustration," Natali told Refinery29. "And being a part of this collaboration is such an amazing opportunity. I could not be more excited to be working with my sister, Mattel, and the Born This Way Foundation. It has been such an amazing experience already."
