Lady Gaga has landed a new movie role! The Oscar-winning actress will star in Ridley Scott's upcoming film about the Gucci family and the murder of the grandson of founder Guccio Gucci, Deadline reports. Gaga is attached to star as Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci, who was tried and convicted of organizing her ex-husband’s assassination on the steps of his office in 1995. She served 18 years before being let out of jail in 2016.

This is the first project Lady Gaga has attached herself to since her big screen debut A Star Is Born, for which she earned a Best Actress nomination at the 91st Academy Awards. She won an Oscar for writing the movie's theme song "Shallow" alongside Andrew Wyatt, Anthony Rossomando, and Mark Ronson.

Earlier: Lady Gaga has delivered another spectacular Grammy performance. Hot on the heels of her incredible Super Bowl Halftime show, Gaga joined rock legends Metallica at this year's Grammy Awards for a fiery duet on "Moth Into Flame," a single from their latest album.

"You know how the Grammys like to have their duets thing and when it was suggested that Lady Gaga do it we thought, 'That's interesting,'" Metallica's guitarist Kirk Hammett said during the rehearsals. "And when she came down to actually work with the song, it turned out really, really, really well. She was really open and willing to work with different arrangements and see what worked well over the course of the song. She was really great to work with.

Bassist Robert Trujillo added: "She's got a lot of edge and attitude which is important for what we do. And she actually came to see us play. We did a small show at the Henry Fonda theatre and she saw the whole show, stayed for it. She really enjoyed it, just rocking out. And somehow magically this all started to happen."

On her mental health struggles:
I have PTSD. I have chronic pain. Neuropathic pain trauma response is a weekly part of my life. I’m on medication; I have several doctors. This is how I survive. But you know what, Oprah? I kept going, and that kid out there or even that adult out there who’s been through so much, I want them to know that they can keep going, and they can survive, and they can win their Oscar. I would also beckon to anyone to try, when they feel ready, to ask for help. And I would beckon to others that if they see someone suffering, to approach them and say, “Hey, I see you. I see that you’re suffering, and I’m here. Tell me your story.”

On why she decided to launch Haus Labs:
I wanted to do it because (a), I had the time—I wanted to put everything into it, which I do with everything that I do. I don’t just put a company together, hire a staff, and have them do it. I said this the other night at our launch: “My fingerprints are all over this. It’s a crime scene.” And (b), I felt that I had the platform and had built the foundation around what I stand for, so that when this company came out, it would be a rebellion in a kind way against the status quo of beauty as it is today, which is in many ways on social media, a competition. It’s a beauty pageant in a lot of ways. This company exists in an influential space in culture where we say, “Our Haus. Your Rules.” And everyone is welcome—all gender identities.

On those Bradley Cooper rumors:
Quite frankly, I think the press is very silly. I mean, we made a love story. For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course we wanted people to believe that we were in love. And we wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars. We wanted it to go right through the lens of that camera and to every television that it was being watched on. And we worked hard on it, we worked for days. We mapped the whole thing out—it was orchestrated as a performance.

Lady Gaga killed it at the 2017 Grammy Awards red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday night! Accompanied by rock legends Metallica, who she later joined onstage for a performance of "Moth Into Flame," Gaga looked stunning in a black long-sleeve leather crop top and black leather hot pants.

The singer, who's already racked up 9 GRAMMYs throughout her career, is nominated for Song of the Year for "Always Remember Us This Way", Best Song Written For Visual Media for "I'll Never Love Again," and Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for A Star Is Born.

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on January 26, 2020, at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Congratulations to Lady Gaga, whose latest hit single "Million Reasons" makes a big splash on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, re-entering the chart at No. 4! Fueled by Gaga's incredible performance at the Super Bowl LI Halftime show, the Hillary Lindsey-co-penned Joanne track re-enters the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 1 (up 1,334 percent to 149,000 copies sold) and surges by 128 percent to 7.6 million streams.

"Million Reasons" becomes Lady Gaga's fourteenth Billboard Hot 100 single and her highest-peaking song since "Applause." The lead single from the ARTPOP album peaked at No. 4 in August 2013.

This is also the first top ten hit from Gaga's latest album Joanne. The project's lead single, the Kevin Parker-assisted "Perfect Illusion," was made with rave reviews and became a fan favorite, but failed to make much commercial impact. The track debuted and peaked at No. 15 on the Hot 100, before falling off the chart in its sixth week.

Lady Gaga was the first star to grace Oprah Winfrey’s national tour, 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. Gaga candidly chatted about the specifics of her current mental health, medication, and self-care regimen during the interview, which brought both Gaga and Oprah to tears. On what caused her PTSD:
I was raped repeatedly when I was 19 years old, and I also developed PTSD as a result of being raped and also not processing that trauma. I did not have anyone help me, I did not have a therapist, I did not have a psychiatrist, I did not have a doctor help me through it. I all of a sudden became a star and was traveling the world going from hotel room to garage to limo to stage, and I never dealt with it, and then all of a sudden I started to experience this incredible intense pain throughout my entire body that mimicked the illness I felt after I was raped.

On what helps her get through the pain:
I know that this is controversial in a lot of ways, but medicine really helped me. And I think a lot of people are afraid of medicine for their brains to help them. And I really want to just erase the stigma around this because I am sick of saying it over and over and  over again. And what moves me so much in this space, and why I want to work so heavily and much more thoroughly through it in the future, is that not everybody has access to these things. And not everybody has the money for these things. And I want the money for it, I want the best doctors in the world, and I want us to understand the brain and all get on the same page about it so that Gen Z does not have to deal with this the way that we are right now. Mental health is a crisis. 

On whether she is working on new music:
I still am going to make music. Don't worry.

Lady Gaga continues to fly high on the charts following her show-stopping Super Bowl LI Halftime performance on Sunday.

Gaga's latest release, Joanne, flies up the Billboard 200 and lands at No. 2 this week. Highlighting how successful her performance was, sales of the album have surged a whopping 1000% in the chart week, with movement of almost 70,000 units. This easily places Joanne as one of the best-selling albums of 2017 so far.

Outside of her latest LP, Mother Monster's entire catalogue of iconic pop albums have made big sales gains. As of today, Joanne remains in the U.S. iTunes Top 5 and Gaga's latest single, "Million Reasons," has parked itself in the Top 3. Congratulations on the hit album cycle, Gaga!

Lady Gaga brought her ENIGMA show to Miami, Florida on Saturday. The 11-time Grammy winner headlined a pre-Super Bowl concert called Super Saturday Night, and played a two-hour set, which included her classics such as "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face," as well as her most recent smash hit "Shallow."

"I wish so much love and so much luck to everyone that’s doing the halftime show, to both the teams that are playing each other in the Super Bowl," Gaga said of Sunday's game. "They're all champions."

A star is born! Viral sensation Charlotte Awbery, who gained attention earlier this month with her impromptu subway rendition of Lady Gaga's hit "Shallow," made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show on Wednesday. She performed her rendition of the Oscar-winning classic and sat down for a quick chat with Ellen.

Charlotte told Ellen that she's been singing for fifteen years, adding: "My dad always said to me, 'Just sing wherever you are and never give up,' he was right."

Lady Gaga's Super Bowl LI Halftime show is officially the most watched musical event of all-time across all platforms, NFL announced on Friday. Nearly 118 million people tuned into the show on the FOX broadcast network. In addition, Gaga's performance at NRG Stadium in Houston is the most-viewed content on NFL's digital platforms, including NFL.com, Twitter, and YouTube. Through these channels, the breathtaking performance pulled in more than 150 million unique viewers.

Lady Gaga has premiered her brand new single "Stupid Love." The track, produced by Bloodpop and Tchami, serves as the lead single from her upcoming album Chromatica, out later this year.

Gaga debuted the song along with its music video, shot entirely on an iPhone. "We had a blast shooting on iPhone 11 Pro. It creates a lot of new possibilities and freedoms for us to explore," director Daniel Askill told JustJared. "Shooting on iPhone is new territory and as a filmmaker it’s kind of an unexpected thing to do because there’s a pretty standardized way to make music videos, television commercials and films, on bigger, much more expensive cameras."

Lady Gaga's latest hit single "Million Reasons," which currently sits at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, has received an electronic makeover from the incredible Chew FU! The "refix," as the NYC-based DJ calls it, gives Gaga's emotional ballad an infectious beat and takes it straight to the dance floor.

"I love the song, and her Super Bowl performance was incredible," Chew Fu told Gaga Daily. "This remix happened organically. I got the acapella, took a listen, and right away was hearing a chord progression that I just had to try and catch on my piano. Once I played that and heard that back I was curious what the next step should be and I just kept going and going till I was finished."

This isn't Chew FU's first time reimagining a Gaga track. He previously collaborated with the singer on the fan favorite remixes of "Bad Romance" and "Born This Way," as well as the Marilyn Manson duet on "LoveGame," which Gaga performed live during the Monster Ball.

On the sound of her new album:
"We are definitely dancing… I put all my heart, all my pain, all my messages from the other realm that I hear of… what they tell me to tell the world and I put it into music that I believe to be so fun and you know, energetically really pure. I want people to dance and feel happy. I would like to put out music that a big chunk of the world will hear, and it will become a part of their daily lives and make them happy every single day."

On the process of making her new album:
"We made a lot of the record in my studio house. So I have a house where it's Frank Zappa's old studio, it's a live room, it's a big studio, it's beautiful. And I would be upstairs on the porch, outside the kitchen, and Bloodpop would come up and he'd go, 'Okay, come on, that's enough, off the porch,' and I would cry and I would say, 'I'm miserable, I'm sad, I’m depressed,' and he'd go, 'I know, and we're gonna go make some music now. And then I'd go downstairs and I would write. This album is such a display of not only how you can reframe the way that you view the world, but I promise and I hope, that the love that was around me in the process of making this album is something that other people feel, that they know that artistically, like, you know how producers are, if one guy’s working on it, or one girl’s working on it, they don’t want anyone else to work on it, they don’t wanna share, they, everybody gets cocky, there was none of that. These records got passed around to so many different people, there were so many different iterations of these songs because we all wanted it to be perfect and literally nobody cared who put their fingerprints on it, as long as it was the dopest thing that we could give to the world and that it was meaningful, authentic, and completely me."

On working with Max Martin for the first time on "Stupid Love":
"He's an amazing producer. I've never worked with him, I've always sort of gone, 'I write my own music, I produce myself, I don't need to work with Max, right?' And I decided to stop being an asshole, meet him at least, you know? Basically, I sang over a track that Bloodpop made. We sent over what I sang to Max, Max picked some parts out, sent it back to me, and then I wrote lyrics and used some of the melody that he chose that he sent back to me and I kind of spliced it all together and then I went to his studio, and sat down at a piano and I played 'Stupid Love' on a piano with chords. And I looked at him and I said, 'That's what I've got for you,' and to me, this song can only stand on it’s two feet, even with a great track, if you can play it on a piano and it still sounds like a hit. And he was-he was like, I love it, get in the booth. I warmed up my voice, got in the booth, I sang it, and what you’re hearing on 'Stupid Love' is what we did that day."

Lady Gaga and her Born This Way Foundation have teamed up with director Brett Ratner and cosmetics company Revlon for "The Love Project," a campaign aiming to inspire more love, acceptance and caring in the world. The campaign's television commercial, which also features Pharrell Williams and Ellen DeGeneres, launched during Sunday's Academy Awards.

"It was fantastic to work with Lady Gaga and Revlon on The Love Project and to spread the message of love, acceptance and positivity at a time when it is so greatly needed," Ratner told EW, while Carlos Barreto, Revlon Senior Vice President Marketing, added: "The Love Project is the beginning of a social movement which aims to inspire more love, acceptance and caring in the world. At the heart of this campaign is the belief that all people are beautiful and that love can create a better world."

Lady Gaga has announced that she will release her new album Chromatica on April 10. The record is executive-produced by Gaga and Bloodpop, and will include 16 tracks, among which is the newly-released "Stupid Love."

Gaga also dropped a range of new merch, which includes t-shirts, hoodies, stickers and more. The merch was designed by Bryan Rivera, Travis Brothers, Darío Alva, and Isha Dipika Walia, who were also behind the "Stupid Love" artwork, and the cover for Chromatica, which will be revealed later this month.

"The symbol for Chromatica has a sine wave in it, which is the mathematical symbol for sound, and it's from what all sound is made from, and, for me, sound is what healed me in my life period, and it healed me again making this record, and that is really what Chromatica is all about," Gaga told Zane Lowe. "It's about healing and it’s about bravery as well and it’s really like, when we talk about love I think it’s so important to include the fact that it requires a ton of bravery to love someone."

She continued: "BloodPop brought it up, and we talked about how Chromatica was essentially on its own when you first look at it, it seems to be about colors and all the different colors and also music is made of a chromatic scale, you know? So it's all the colors, all the sounds, you know, so we, we're talking about inclusivity and life and also a lot of what we see around us and what we're experiencing is math, which is very much like music and and sound is math as well. So we talked about that, and then I sort of went back and I said, 'OK, well, yeah, it's inclusivity but it's really a way of thinking,' you know, it's not just, 'Oh, Chromatica, we're being inclusive with all the colors, all the people,' and when I say, 'All the colors, all the people'  I mean way more than we could possibly fathom.

"I think that we’re actually operating on a completely rudimentary level where we square things off into very simplified colors when actually we’re all extremely different in a vast variety of ways that stem from both, like, genetics as well as epigenetics, like, we're all completely different and I thought OK, well maybe, Chromatica is a frame of mind. And that is my frame of mind, and I don’t know that I've ever made an album that wasn't on Chromatica in some type of way, meaning like my frame of mind is always a part of my music, and this is just my way of kind of expressing, even in a both literal and abstract way, that, like, making music and putting it out into the world is my perspective on life, and it's also my gift to the world in the best way that I can, and I think that everyone on any given day is doing the absolute best that they can do, and this is my perspective, and here it is, and it's always been my perspective, but now I know that it was my perspective."

Lady Gaga has announced The Chromatica Ball, her first-ever stadium tour in support of her upcoming album, Chromatica. The special 6-city worldwide limited run of exclusive performances will kick off on July 24th in Paris at Stade de France followed by stadium engagements in London, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, and East Rutherford.

Just over a year after topping the Billboard Hot 100 with her smash "Shallow" with Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga is back on the chart with her new single "Stupid Love."
