The wait is finally over! Lady Gaga has officially released her new single "Til It Happens To You" which serves as the theme song for the documentary about campus rape called The Hunting Ground.

"Diane Warren and I made 'Til It Happens To You' for people all over the world who suffer from painful life experiences," Gaga told fans shortly after the release. "We hope you feel our love and solidarity through the song and perhaps find some peace in knowing you are not alone through this film."

The clip sees Gaga, who plays the owner of Hotel Cortez on the show, stun in a string of gorgeous outfits with Rammstein's classic "Du Hast" playing in the background. After spending three days in New York City to support her friends at the fashion week, Lady Gaga is back in Los Angeles to continue filming the upcoming season of American Horror Story, in which she plays the blood-sucking owner of Hotel Cortez. And as the superstar was leaving LAX airport on Tuesday night, a paparazzi asked her if she was a supporter of Donald Trump. Watch Gaga's hilarious response below!

Lady Gaga went on to show support for Hillary Clinton, telling the paparazzi that "it's Hillary, baby!" when asked if she liked any other candidates for the 2016 election.

Lady Gaga is up for an MTV Europe Music Award! Gaga's Cheek to Cheek show with Tony Bennett has been nominated for Best Live Act at the 2015 show, which will take place in Milan on October 25th. Voting is now open and you can support Mother Monster by clicking HERE.

This is Lady Gaga's 25th nomination for the award and Tony Bennett's first.

If you were wondering why Lady Gaga's new pop album is still not out, Mother Monster has an answer for that. In a recent interview with the CR Fashion Book, Gaga says that she's taking her time with the record because she's making songs without the help of other songwriters. "I feel like my fans want to kill me," she told Bruce Weber. "But it takes me so long because I write it all myself."

Back in June, Lady Gaga was honored with the first-ever Contemporary Icon Award for "attaining an iconic status in pop culture" and writing such massive hit songs as "Poker Face," "Bad Romance," and "Born This Way."

Lady Gaga was reunited with her friend and former fashion director Nicola Formichetti when she stopped by the presentation of his personal project, Nicopanda, at New York Fashion Week on Sunday. 

"It was very emotional. We've been talking and stuff properly, we both started crying. She was so proud of me doing this," said Nicola, while Gaga added: "It's amazing to see friends you've created so much with soaring with their art."

Gaga and Nicola began working together in 2009 after meeting on the set of her photoshoot for V Magazine. Together they created some of Gaga's most memorable outfits, such as the Orbit, the Pyro-Bra and the iconic Meat Dress.

Lady Gaga took the time out of her busy schedule of filming the new season of American Horror Story and arrived in New York City on Saturday to support her friend Alexander Wang at the fashion week. Decked in denim shorts, a striped crop top and a black leather jacked, Gaga sat front row alongside Anna Wintour, Mary J. Blige, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and other celebrity guests.

Lady Gaga will also attend Nicola Formichetti's and Brandon Maxwell's fashion shows on Sunday and Monday.

Lady Gaga will present an award at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards that will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

In addition to presenting, Gaga is also nominated in the "Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special" category for her critically praised Cheek to Cheek: LIVE! special with Tony Bennett.

Lady Gaga wore all black as as she filmed a beach carnival scene for American Horror Story: Hotel in Venice Beach, California on Wednesday. Mother Monster was joined by a little boy, who plays one of the many blood-loving children that her character kidnapped andadopted. "They are the most important thing to her," she says. "More than anything, I think she wants to identify in a very human way."

Lady Gaga says her role in the upcoming season of American Horror Story will influence her new music. "It will inform me from this day forward, everyday more and more," she told Entertainment Weekly.

But Mother Monster adds that her television acting debut is her main priority at the moment. "This is my focus right now," she says. "I don't view this as a side thing that I'm doing in between other things. Cramming things in just to be everywhere all the time is really not what I like. It's not what makes me happy. So it was planned out for me to do one project at a time and give my full attention to each so I can enjoy myself. I can give myself fully to the cast. If I were to saunter in here and not show true value to the work that's already been done, that would be a massive mistake because these actors have been working for years. They're extremely talented.I walked in on my first day and I was like, 'I am going to give all of myself.'"

Lady Gaga looks killer as her American Horror Story: Hotel character, The Countess, in a new photoshoot with Michael Avedon for the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly.

The look was created by Gaga in collaboration with Ryan Murphy and the Emmy-winning costume designer Lou Eyrich. "Black, red, and cream, are the main colors and then punches of brighter colors like the blues and greens," says Eyrich. "It definitely skews towards the '30s and '40s but then punch it up to be modern."

She continues: "One thing Ryan talked with me about is we wanted the audience to look at Gaga as an actor playing the Countess and completely separate from how her fans know her as Gaga."

On joining American Horror Story, Gaga admits: "I've felt it with only a few people in my career when you do something and you say, 'I belong here.' And I feel that way with the cast — I just feel like we somehow belong together whether I'm on the show or not."

In Hotel, Lady Gaga plays the owner of Hotel Cortez, who sustains on a healthy diet of sex and blood. "She's extremely strong," explains Gaga. “She's been through so much. It’s kind of impossible for anything to penetrate her."

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly hits newsstands on Friday.

Lady Gaga on going back to her dark side: 
"I've just been weeping while I'm here because I have returned to something I've believed in so much, which is the art of darkness It's not something that everyone understands, but, for the people that do — Horror Story fans, my fans — there is a true connection between us, and it's a language within itself."

Ryan Murphy on Gaga's blood-loving character:
"I prefer the term 'ancient blood virus. It's really a form of hemophilia, in a way."

Lady Gaga may have been compared to pop veteran Madonna countless times, but she prefers a different comparison, telling CR Fashion Book that she would rather be called the next Iron Maiden.

"They're one of the greatest rock bands in history, in my opinion," Gaga says. "Some people really don't know the importance of metal and the scope of it. Those guys were filling stadiums, and they still are. And it's because of the culture of the music, the poetry that's so powerful, that whenever the fans come together they unite in the essence of what Iron Maiden is all about. I always used to say to people, when they would say, 'Oh, she's the next Madonna.' No, I'm the next Iron Maiden."

Lady Gaga says she finds it much easier to communicate through songs than words -- even with her fiancé Taylor Kinney. 

"I believe it's everyone's natural right to express themselves beyond what we learn as children," she told CR Fashion Book. "I'm much better at communicating through my work. Sometimes I feel like, even with my fiancé, I'll tell him I feel a certain way, but then he understands me better if I create a song and play it for him. I wrote a song for him the other day and it really sat with him because it was something I couldn't say with words, only through song."

In the interview, accompanied by Lady Gaga's first ever unretouched cover shoot by Bruce Weber, Gaga also speaks about the pressures of being a pop star. "As a 29-year-old girl, at this stage in my pop career everybody goes, 'Oh she's getting old,' and everybody's so worried about having a perfect body, a perfect face, and perfect hair," Gaga says. "When, you know, actually, legacy and longevity is about having some sort of story and footprint to leave in the world when you die, chasing your talent until you're dead. And that, as an artist, you love your art 'til death. It's the antithesis of what I was taught growing up, which is that at this age I would have to fight in order to continue to look young, in order to continue to be trendy. When, you know, I never was trendy. I was always anti-trend."

CR Fashion Book Issue 7 hits newsstands on September 3rd.

Lady Gaga is the cover star of the new CR Fashion Book! Mother Monster was photographed by the legendary Bruce Weber for a stunning cover shoot, which the magazine published completely unretouched.

"I wanted to show her completely natural, all herself," CR Fashion Book's founder Carine Roitfeld told Style.com. "During the shoot, she gave me her diamond engagement ring to keep safe. I wore it the whole day next to my own diamond ring that my grandmother gave me. I felt like it was a big sign of trust between the two of us—and quite an expensive moment!"

Lady Gaga graces both the front and back covers of the 'Classic Eccentric'-themed issue. "Lady Gaga perfectly represents what I mean by the classic eccentric to me," Roitfeld added. "She is completely Gaga, but she is also a lady. In her music and art, she is so creative, always pushing the envelope"

She continued: "She is actually a bride on both covers. One is the classic bride in white, the other is the eccentric bride who chooses to wear black. I decided to style her in that way for two reasons: The obvious one, of course, is that she is getting married soon, but also it represents how in this new era in her career, how she has come to marry these different sides of herself—how she has become free."

Lady Gaga looked absolutely stunning in a white Vivienne Westwood gown as she attended the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's annual grants presentation in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

"I have to say, I'm a little embarrassed because when Jamie Lee Curtis said my name, I snarfed an olive into my nose," she joked as she got up on stage to present a donation. "And there's a little, tiny piece that's still there. So I don't know how eloquent this will be, but here we go."

"I am delighted that tonight I get to help recognize the next generation of musicians and actors who have set their sights on the entertainment industry," she added before revealing a grant to the Young Musicians Foundation.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association granted over $2 million in funds to non-profit entertainment-related organizations and scholarship programs. Contributions made by the HFPA will aid a wide range of projects, including the preservation of films, higher education, training and mentoring and the promotion of cultural exchange through cinema.

Lady Gaga has begun filming her part on the new season of American Horror Story and, if the crew's tweets are anything to go by, she's absolutely killing it! 

Gaga, who will appear in eight out of thirteen episodes of Hotel, arrived on the on Monday after spending some time with her fiancé Taylor Kinney in Chicago. According to the show's creator Ryan Murpy, she had a "pretty spectacular" murder scene to film with Matt Bomer and, after wrapping the scene, Murphy tweeted: "Lady Gaga is everything I dreamed of and more. Lovely, a total pro, and terrifyingly genius in her role."

Bomer also praised Mother Monster, saying, "Lady Gaga is killing the game on American Horror Story! Genius, sexy, terrifying. Total pro and beautiful soul to boot. So much fun coming your way! Inspired."

Kathy Bathes, who is playing Iris, the Hotel's manager, added: "Let's just say she rocked it. The Countess scared the crap out of Iris."

Lady Gaga will portray an evil hotel owner in the upcoming season of American Horror Story, the shows creator and director Ryan Murphy told journalists during a panel at the 2015 Summer TCA Tour on Friday.

"Her character’s name is Elizabeth," he said. "She owns the hotel, and she is sort of a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art and fashion and people and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode and plays out over the course of the season. She starts shooting on Monday."

"My character is closely associated with Miss Gaga. He has very interesting relationships with ladyfolk and I'll just leave it at that," said Matt Bomer, who has a "spectacular" murder scene to film with Mother Monster on Monday, while Angela Basset added: "I have a strong long lasting relationship with Stefani's character."

Murphy also revealed that Hotel is similar to the first season of the show. "This season harkens back to the first season and is much more rooted in the honest, primal fears that the first season was," he said. He also confirmed that stars from previous seasons will be making cameo appearances in Hotel.

The 13-episode season premieres on October 7th on FX.

FX has set the premiere date for the new season of American Horror Story. The 13-episode show, which began filming in Los Angeles last month, will air Wednesdays at 10 p.m. beginning October 7th. The opening episode will be called "Checking In." Episode two is titled "Chutes and Ladders," while the name of the third one is "Mommy."

The first official promo poster for American Horror Story: Hotel was also revealed today...

"The upcoming season that we're doing is much more horror-based; it's much more dark," the show's creator Ryan Murphy said in a recent interview. "It's about a theme and an idea that's very close to my heart that I've always wanted to do that's a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we've done before; it's straight horror this year."

He continued: "We're building this incredible six-story Art Deco hotel on the Fox lot. Everybody in the show is very excited about this season, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters particularly because in every season thus far they've always been sort of the heroes, the good guy or the good lady so to speak, and this season they're playing absolute evil villains so they're very excited about that and I think people will really enjoy it, and the Gaga part is bananas good."

A one-minute snippet of Lady Gaga's "Till It Happens to You" has found its way to the web. The track, which Gaga wrote with the amazing Diane Warren, is featured in the documentary The Hunting Ground to raise awareness of campus sexual assault.

"Lady Gaga recently came out as an assault survivor, so to write a song... to have a song with her signing it, singing 'you don't know what it's like until it happens to you,' you know the voice of that person has experienced very similar things to what our subjects have experienced," the director of The Hunting Ground Kirby Dick said. "I think that adds a deeper level to the music."

The film's producer Amy Ziering added: "Lady Gaga brings a whole other demographic. Anyone who has that kind of platform to reach all sorts of people that maybe would not necessarily be inclined to be interested in your issue… it's incredible. She has such a huge group of loyal followers that really span different generations. It's just an amazing gift."

Lady Gaga wrapped the massively successful world tour in support of her latest album Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett just days ago, but she's already starting to work on a new, solo album. Mother Monster took to her Instagram today to post a selfie with a simple caption: "LG5 time."

The record, which fans hope to be released sometime next year, will be Gaga's fifth pop album, after the Grammy-winning The Fame and The Fame Monster, and the number-ones Born This Way and ARTPOP.

Interestingly, today also marks three years since Lady Gaga revealed the title for her latest pop album, ARTPOP. On August 3rd, 2012, Gaga announced the name of the record by tattooing it on her arm and sharing a snap of it with the world. "New ink new album," she wrote alongside the photo.
