Congratulations to Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett whose hit album Cheek to Cheek is the top jazz record of 2015, according to Billboard! The CD, which currently sits at number one on Billboard's Jazz Albums charts even after a year since its release, tops the list of this year's top-selling jazz albums, ranked by sales data as compiled by Nielsen Music.

This is Gaga and Mr. Bennett's second consecutive year atop Billboard's year-end jazz ranking. Cheek to Cheek easily became the best-selling album of 2014, when it debuted with an impressive 131,000 copies sold in its first week and stayed at number one on the Jazz Albums chart until the rest of that year.

Additionally, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga rank No. 1 and No. 2 respectively on Billboard's year-end Jazz Artists chart of 2015.

Lady Gaga's latest single "Til It Happens To You" this week becomes her 17th top ten hit on Billboard's Dance Club Songs.

That's right, Gaga's song about sexual assault, written to empower young people affected by rape, is among this week's most played tracks in clubs in the United States.

"Til It Happens To You" jumps to No. 8 on the dance chart dated December 19th thanks to remixes by Tracy Young, Matt Consola and other DJs. Other club hits in the top ten include "Confident" by Demi Lovato, "Sorry" by Justin Bieber, and "Levels" by Nick Jonas.

To everyone getting turned up to "Til It Happens To You" in the club...

The 2016 Grammy nominations are in and Lady Gaga is up for an award in the "Best Song Written for Visual Media" category for her latest song "Til It Happens To You"! The other nominees are: "Earned It" by The Weeknd, "Glory" by Common and John Legend, "Love Me Like You Do" by Ellie Goulding, and "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth.

"Thank you fans and The Grammys for nominating my song 'Til It Happens To You' for a Grammy," Gaga wrote on her Instagram page. "Me and my co-writer Diane Warren are so honored and proud to be a part a movement that empowers rape victims into survivors."

"Til It Happens To You" was co-written by Gaga and Diane Warren for the Kirby Dick-directed documentary film The Hunting Ground, which deals with the growing issue of sexual assault on American college campuses. In September, the song was released as a part of a powerful PSA video, with a portion of proceeds from the sale of the tune going to organizations that help rape survivors.

"It's hard to listen to that song, it's hard to watch it,' Gaga told Billboard magazine. 'Diane really held my hand. I was like, 'I've done a lot of things Diane, but can I do this?' She was like, 'You can do this.' It was extremely cathartic to know that not only am I not alone, but that other men and women aren’t alone — we all have each other. Even outside of rape culture, there are a lot of people silently in pain about extremely traumatic things."

Lady Gaga's new manager Bobby Campbell says they want to show the world a new chapter of her in 2016. 

Speaking to Billboard magazine, he said: "Right now, we're focused on American Horror Story. She started in August and films up until the holidays. And that's what she's doing right now. After that I think it's clear that new music will be on the horizon. How soon? We don't know. But next year, I think we'll show a new chapter of her as an artist and as a musician."

Bobby also reveals that although Lady Gaga's show-stopping performance at the Oscars this year wasn't a strategic move, he wanted to make the public see how talented she actually is.

"I don't think it was so scientific that we sat down and said okay, the big goal for 2015 is to change perception of her," he said "But from the time I began managing her, I saw that there was a vocal minority that did not respect her for all that she brings to the table. I wanted to change that and set her up to be the icon that she is."

He continued: "You've seen the articles. She was 'eccentric,' 'too artsy.' People were judging her unfairly, so I wanted to press the reset button and remind them that whatever their perceptions, she's an incredibly talented musician, performer and songwriter. In the last year, she has gotten a Grammy, performed at the Oscars, went on a couple of tours with Tony Bennett, co-wrote 'Till It Happens to You' with Diane Warren, and is currently on American Horror Story: Hotel. She's proven that there's not really anything that she can't do if she works hard for it."

Because once I start to fight for that, the stuff I write about is just deepest desires and objectives in life."

On turning 30:
My birthday is in March, so these are the last moments of my 20s. I already mourned that in a way, and now I'm really excited about showing girls, and even men, what it can mean to be a woman in her 30s. Why is it that we're disposing of people once they pass that mark? It's suddenly, 'You're an old woman.' I'm not f---ing old. I'm more sexual and powerful and intelligent and on my s--t than I've ever been. I've come a long way through a lot of heartache and pain, but none of it made me damaged goods. It made me a fighter. I want to show women they don't need to try to keep up with the 19-year-olds and the 21-year-olds in order to have a hit. Women in music, they feel like they need to f---ing sell everything to be a star. It's so sad. I want to explode as I go into my 30s.

On her career-changing performance at the Oscars:
As soon as the Oscars were over, [former chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M] Jimmy Iovine emailed me something like, 'That was so f---ing fantastic, and it could've been such a disaster.' He's Italian and from Brooklyn, so we speak the same comedic language, but I knew he was right. The truth is you can either nail a performance like that or butcher some of the most classic songs sung by an all-time great. I took the gamble because everyone had written me off. It took me a long time to get those notes. I told my manager, 'I need two months working with my vocal coach every day and to be sober, which means I can't do other work at all.' When I work I need to drink and smoke, and I have body pain [due to hip surgery]. But I'm just like any other girl -- there's a human being in there, and if you can keep the human intact, that's what you're going to hear in the music.

On singing with Tony Bennett:
There is nobody more badass than Tony Bennett. That man is a part of the history of music in a way that is extremely powerful, and he taught me to stay true to who I am, to not let anybody exploit me. He is responsible in so many ways for making me happy, and I can say the same for Elton [John]. When the whole industry turned their back on me during ARTPOP, they were the ones who said, 'Hey, this is a blip. It's going to go away.' On tour, I had people give me war medals and memorabilia just to thank me for exposing a younger generation to Tony Bennett because he changed their lives in such significant ways. I want to be a part of curating a culture where we don't give credence to anyone who is rude or crass or not good for the world.

On starring in American Horror Story:
I'm not the type of girl who fits most molds. That's why working on American Horror Story with Ryan [Murphy] is a destiny. I wanted to create something extremely meaningful by exploring the art of darkness. The reason I love watching horror films, mysteries and documentaries about crime is that it somehow numbs me from the pain I experience in my own life. You are watching something worse than whatever you think you're going through. The terror of that suspends you, and you are able to forget about your own pain for a moment. It's like a safe, psychological form of masochism.

Ryan and I have both experienced the same sort of criticism over the intention of our work. My whole career has been built on this perception that I'm trying to evoke attention because of the things I'm interested in, when it's not that way at all. If you don't like to be disturbed, [American Horror Story] probably isn't for you. If you don't like absurdity, I'm probably not for you. I hung upside down for 45 minutes for [video artist] Robert Wilson and drained all the blood in my body, and I've stood in a freezing cold river naked for two hours with magnets on my head for Marina Abramovic. I'm a hard-core chick. I go there. I can put all my rage into that dark art, and then the rest of my life can be spent clearheaded, doing the things I know to be right, like philanthropy and sticking to my guns musically.

Lady Gaga looked divine in a silver one-shoulder silver gown as she attended Sinatra 100: An All-Star Grammy Concert celebrating Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday in Las Vegas. Mother Monster sat in the audience with her father Joe and new friend Tony Bennett and watched performances by such A-listers as Celine Dion, Quincy Jones, and Carrie Underwood pay tribute to the late jazz legend.

"I loved getting all dressed like a lady for Frank tonight," Gaga told fans following her appearance at the star-studded event.

She then changed into a a black suit and took the stage herself to perform Sinatra's signature tune "New York, New York" to a standing ovation.

Lady Gaga has received a nomination at the 20th Annual Satellite Awards! Gaga is up for an "Actress in a Drama Series" award for her role as The Countess on the latest season of American Horror Story. The other nominees include: Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Taraji P. Henson (Empire), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Kirsten Dunst (Fargo), Felicity Huffman (American Crime), and Claire Danes (Homeland).

Given out by the International Press Academy, which is composed of professional entertainment journalists, the Satellite Awards honour the year’s outstanding performers, films, and television shows. This year's award ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 21st in Los Angeles.

Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" is now diamond! The Recording Industry of America today honored Gaga with a Diamond Award in recognition of the 2008 hit single surpassing the 10 million mark in sales and streams.

This is the second time Gaga has won the prestigious award. Her iconic single "Bad Romance" reached the rare milestone back in 2014, making her the first female artist to score a diamond single, an honour she now shares with fellow pop star Katy Perry, whose songs "Dark Horse" and "Firework" joined the diamond club last month.

"Poker Face" is the second single from Lady Gaga's debut album The Fame. Written by Gaga in collaboration with RedOne, the song is about bisexuality and fantasizing about women while with a man. Fun fact: In the second half of the post-chorus, Gaga replaced the words "poker face" with "f--k her face," and Kiss FM was the only station in the world to notice that and censor the lyric.

"It got played all over the world amidst tens of thousands of radio stations," Gaga revealed. "But Kiss FM is the only one that said I had to censor my lyric because they thought I might be saying something bad. Out of all the radio stations in the world that play this record over and over, Kiss FM is the only one that was right and caught on!"

Lady Gaga is the star of the new season of American Horror Story but she has banned her new friend and Cheek to Cheek collaborator from tuning into her latest project.

"I told Gaga I was watching it and she said, 'Please don't let Tony see it – I'm serious! Don't let him watch it!'" Tony's wife, Susan Crow, confessed to People magazine. "And now that I've seen some of it I'm like, 'Oh, I understand!'"

As for what she thinks about Gaga's television debut, Susan said that it's just"great," and though she says it "might be a little much" for the 89-year old jazz legend, she still thinks he would enjoy it. "They have a very good relationship," Crow added. "We love Gaga."

American Horror Story: Hotel returns on December 2nd with an all-new episode.

Lady Gaga was spotted leaving a London recording studio with producer Mark Ronson and artist Daphne Guinness at 6 in the morning on Wednesday after a night of writing music. The hitmakers reportedly spent over 12 hours working on tracks for Gaga's upcoming album, which fans refer to as LG5.

Mark Ronson is known for his work with Robbie Williams, Christina Aguilera, Adele, Lily Allen, Paul McCartney and many others. He also produced several tracks on Amy Winehouse's hit album Back to Black, including "Rehab," for which he won a Grammy for "Record of the Year." Not only will Lady Gaga grace the cover of V Magazine's V99, but she is also taking over as a guest editor for the entire issue! 

"This issue of V is about all of these people coming together to express a passion for art and fashion, to really 'go there' to make a great statement and to change things," Gaga told the magazine. "I feel like we all share an appetite for living a life of passion and creativity. It's like we all found our immortality through art and fashion… we share that deep spiritual place. These are people who have kept and protected me over the years, because they wanted me to survive. Lady Gaga took the stage at the 2015 British Fashion Awards to accept the Red Carpet Designer Award on behalf of Tom Ford on Monday night. Not only did Gaga collect Tom's award, she also walked the runway in a gorgeous red gown custom made for her by the designer as her cover of "I Want Your Love" played in the background.

"I'm here tonight to accept this on behalf of Tom," Gaga told the audience. "I'm very happy to be here and I know that he would want me to thank the British Fashion Council, as well as his team that works so tirelessly to keep the Tom Ford Enterprise moving."

Lady Gaga is working on new music with Mark Ronson, according to... Lily Allen!

The British pop star spilled the info at the 2015 British Fashion Awards red carpet. "I was meant to be in the studio with Mark Ronson tomorrow and he cancelled on me because Gaga's here," Allen revealed, adding: "I'm just going to turn up anyway, and be like, 'Hi Gaga!'"

Gaga and Ronson have known each other for years and back in 2010, she inspired the young producer to sing on his records. "I was recording the vocal on her song for Wale, and we were talking, and she was like, 'Have you ever taken singing lessons?', and I said no," Ronson recalled. "And she said, 'Well, you should try, you never know.' And so I did and I went to see her vocal coach. So, if it's really horrible, you can blame Lady Gaga for it."

Lady Gaga surprised fans with an appearance at the 2015 British Fashion Awards in London on Monday night. Gaga looked absolutely stunning in a Tom Ford dress as she posed for photographers at the event's red carpet.

Gaga supported her friend and long-time collaborator Nick Knight, who was honored with the Isabella Blow Awards for Fashion Creator at the show for his work as a fashion and documentary photographer. Knight worked with Gaga on visuals for her Monster Ball tour and the Born This Way album, and more recently, on the runway video for Tom Ford's latest collection, in which she starred.

"I'm just really happy to be here," Gaga told E! Online. "Nick Knight is being honored, who is a wonderful friend of mine and I am just proud to be here with him and to support so many people that are such visionaries and have given me so much. I always say that fashion is crucial for my existence. And so everyone that is here tonight is a part of my religion."

Lady Gaga looked badass in all black leather as she was spotted arriving at a recording studio in London on Monday. Mother Monster is busy recording her yet-untitled upcoming studio album, which is due out in 2016.

Although she is keeping details about the project under wraps, Gaga said she's excited for the world to see what the Haus of Gaga is cooking up. 

"When your coolest of cool friends tell you they felt liberated by an artistic experience -- one you conjured from your heart for them, I think there is no greater soaring of the soul," Gaga wrote on her Instagram page last month. "Not to make art not for the elusive 'other,' but for each other. So it can live on through the sharing of our creative processes. Through love. Can't wait for the world to see what the Haus is making now."

The latest episode of American Horror Story: Hotel starring Lady Gaga, titled "Flicker," was met with universal acclaim from TV critics. On review aggregating website Rotten Tomatoes, the show received a 100% "fresh" approval rating and an average score of 8.8 out of 10.

Michael Calia of the Wall Street Journal wrote, "Through an extended glimpse at 1925, a time when the silent screen stars were on the verge of extinction thanks to the advent of talkies, we experience the Countess's introduction to immortality, and it's as sexy and disturbing as you'd think." Sam Ashurst of Digital Spy also gave a positive review, saying, "Seven episodes in and, as 'Flicker' shows, [American Horror Story] still has secrets to share -- as the gory cold open reveals a pair of new monsters in a bricked-up prison hidden deep within the hotel's walls."

Not only did critics enjoy the episode, but fans loved it too.

"What a crazy, intense episode. I've been wanting to know The Countess' backstory for so long, and this was more than I imagined. Real great acting by Gaga, and I can't wait to find the last pieces in the puzzle to her story," one Gaga Daily forum member wrote, while another added: "The Countess has suddenly gone from someone who had no emotion to someone who I care about and have sympathy more now than any other character. This season is super solid."

Famed disco guitarist and producer Nile Rodgers shares his experience of working with Lady Gaga on new songs for her upcoming album, due out next year.

"She's the greatest, I love her," he told Time Out. "How can you not love someone who sings her ass off, comes to the studio looking like a million dollars but will stay there all night if you want. And just let you change a song, rewrite it and let you do all sorts of stuff, and she's cool with it. She'll experiment, she's a real musician – she’s what every composer and producer wants to work with."

Lady Gaga recently made headlines when she covered Chic's "I Want Your Love," which Rodgers co-wrote with Bernard Edwards in 1978.

Lady Gaga's next studio album is set for a 2016 release. Besides Rodgers, RedOne is another producer confirmed for the project.

"With Gaga, I'm fully committed until we're done – we're just going to work on writing songs until we get hopefully the best album of the decade," RedOne said. "The new material feels great. And that's what it is like with me and her – when we both feel great, it's incredible. A lot of it is to do with trust, no ego, just love for the music. And when it's fun and respectful, putting the egos aside, it's magic."

Lady Gaga says she has started to think like her American Horror Story character, The Countess.

"If I'm out at a restaurant or I'm in the car and we're driving past people, I sort of look at them and wonder, 'Gee, I wonder if you're clean. I wonder, if I were to kill you, if it would be worth it for me,'" she told Variety. "It's quite a challenge for Taylor as well at times because I just don't give a f—k about s—t anymore. Because she just can't be, she's been alive for 100 years. So no matter what goes on in her hotel, if she loses her cool, she can't handle her s—t."

However, Gaga admits that her personality is quite different from the ruthless Elizabeth:

"I find it funny that people wonder if that's just the way that I really am, so this was very easy for me to just kind of walk in here with my blonde hair on and just be a bitch and be rude to everyone and that's just what I do, because you've seen me do something like that before," she explained. "The truth is that it's actually very challenging to be sincere when you have all of that on. It's not comfortable. It's never been comfortable for me."

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are the stars of Barnes & Noble's new holiday campaign!

The jazz duo are featured in the bookstore chain's new holiday television ad, which will make its television debut during a morning show on Monday. In the video, Gaga and Mr. Bennett walk the aisles of a Barnes & Noble store while looking for a gift for each other and singing the Frank Loesser classic "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

"Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are two of the most iconic artists in the world today and we're thrilled to bring some of their magic to Barnes & Noble customers," said Glenn Kaplan, Vice President and Creative Director at Barnes & Noble.

Amy Sacks, co-creative director at Roberts + Langer, the company that produced the commercial, added: "This campaign is like a holiday card from Barnes & Noble to all of its customers. We hope that this little gift of a performance by these two incredibly talented artists will put a smile on people's faces. We believe that the true warmth and the connection that Mr. Bennett and Lady Gaga share will be something viewers can feel."

The new commercial was directed by Jonas Akerlund, who had previously worked with Gaga on her music videos for "Paparazzi" and "Telephone."

Billboard magazine announced today its first-ever Greatest of All Time chart and Lady Gaga's debut album The Fame ranks at number 12!

According to Billboard.com, albums are ranked "based on an inverse point system, with weeks at number one earning the greatest value and weeks at lower rungs earning the least; due to changes in chart methodology over the years, eras are weighted differently to account for chart turnover rates over various periods."
