Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney go nude for the latest issue of V Magazine, which Gaga guest-edited herself, Yahoo! reports. On cover 14 out of 16, the couple pose wearing nothing but paint for a sexy selfie after "making love on a canvas for peace."

"Since we first met, Taylor’s been drawing and painting all over me," Gaga wrote in her editor's letter. "Years ago, when we were secretly living in San Diego and crashing on the floor of a beach shack, we never wore shoes. He told me he wanted to make love to me on a canvas."

Gaga continued: "I asked Taylor to collaborate with me on a project to raise money and awareness about mental illness, and he immediately brought my attention back to this idea.

"We made love on the canvas on a Sunday in Chicago. We made love amidst chaos. We talked about shootings. We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people’s hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence. We made love amidst violence. During tumultuous times, we hope everyone in the world will see this and be reminded to love each other wildly, generously, totally, colorfully, without fear and with compassionate hearts. We made a galaxy of endless colors with only brief, black holes of emptiness that are then filled by each other."

All proceeds from the sale of the issue will benefit Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation, helping fund "cutting-edge, social-emotional intelligence research."

Surprise! Lady Gaga debuted a brand new song called "The Cure" during her Coachella set. "I've been so excited for this next part of the show because I've been trying to keep it a secret for so long," Gaga told the crowd. "I've been in the studio and I'd like to debut a brand new song, The Cure."

She added: "I love you guys so much. I have been through so much in my life and I've seen so much. And you cure me every time with your love."

Lady Gaga continues the promotional tour for her newly-released movie A Star Is Born with an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen on Thursday afternoon. Gaga sat down with Stephen to chat about the new movie and its soundtrack and even commented on the country's political environment.

On working with Bradley Cooper:
There can be 100 people in the room and 99 don’t believe in you and just one does and Bradley Cooper believed in me and I would not be here without him today. He is incredible.

On the song "Shallow":
As a songwriter, I couldn't be more grateful to everyone that I worked with on this project to put that song out into the world because I think we live in a pretty shallow time. And we long for that depth, we long for that honesty.

On whether she's comfortable discussing politics:
When it comes to the political stuff, I'm going to say 'Bring it on.' Because what I have seen on the news with this debate of Kavanaugh versus Dr. Ford is one of the most upsetting things I've ever witnessed.

The second episode of the new season of American Horror Story: Roanoke aired tonight on FOX and it's the first episode of the season to feature an appearance by Lady Gaga. 

"I'm not in it as much as I was before, but I am on the show and I got to work with the incredible actors that are on it," Gaga said while promoting her new single "Perfect Illusion" earlier this month. "My character is not like The Countess, but she's very unique."

Lady Gaga stole the show at the 58th Grammy Awards with a special tribute to David Bowie directed by Nile Rodgers. Gaga did the late pop legend proud by performing an energetic 7-minute medley of his signature songs, including "Space Oddity," "Rebel Rebel," and "Fashion." The Nile Rodgers-directed tribute was highlighted by stunning visual effects created by the tech giant Intel. 

"When I was 19 years old I started to live my life like him," Gaga told the Associated Press ahead of the show. "I began to consume art and fashion and art history and a combination of those things, performance technique... and I only hung out with people that were artists and that was the way that he was and I learned that from him. What I'm trying to say is there's people that love David Bowie, and then there's David Bowie fans, and there's Bowie kids, who live like him... and I can't express to you, I don't know who I'd be if I didn't have (him as) a figure in my life. I don't know what my identity would be."

The show-stopping tribute continues a jam-packed month for Gaga, as she is the first person to be invited to perform at the Super Bowl, Grammy Awards, and Academy Awards all in the same year. 

Lady Gaga has premiered her brand new single "Stupid Love." The track, produced by Bloodpop and Tchami, serves as the lead single from her upcoming album Chromatica, out later this year.

Gaga debuted the song along with its music video, shot entirely on an iPhone. "We had a blast shooting on iPhone 11 Pro. It creates a lot of new possibilities and freedoms for us to explore," director Daniel Askill told JustJared. "Shooting on iPhone is new territory and as a filmmaker it’s kind of an unexpected thing to do because there’s a pretty standardized way to make music videos, television commercials and films, on bigger, much more expensive cameras."

Lady Gaga looks killer as her American Horror Story: Hotel character, The Countess, in a new photoshoot with Michael Avedon for the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly.

The look was created by Gaga in collaboration with Ryan Murphy and the Emmy-winning costume designer Lou Eyrich. "Black, red, and cream, are the main colors and then punches of brighter colors like the blues and greens," says Eyrich. "It definitely skews towards the '30s and '40s but then punch it up to be modern."

She continues: "One thing Ryan talked with me about is we wanted the audience to look at Gaga as an actor playing the Countess and completely separate from how her fans know her as Gaga."

On joining American Horror Story, Gaga admits: "I've felt it with only a few people in my career when you do something and you say, 'I belong here.' And I feel that way with the cast — I just feel like we somehow belong together whether I'm on the show or not."

In Hotel, Lady Gaga plays the owner of Hotel Cortez, who sustains on a healthy diet of sex and blood. "She's extremely strong," explains Gaga. “She's been through so much. It’s kind of impossible for anything to penetrate her."

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly hits newsstands on Friday.

Lady Gaga was one of the many performers at Tony Bennett 90th birthday celebration, which aired on Tuesday night on NBC. Gaga, who collaborated with Mr. Bennett on a 2014 duets album Cheek to Cheek, took the stage twice to serenade the jazz legend with "La Vie En Rose" and "The Lady Is A Tramp."

"You're my family, Tony Benedetto," Gaga said as she showed off her trumpet tattoo in honor of Bennett. "You really changed my life. You are indeed an icon, but for me, you're so much more than that. You really changed my life from black to — la vie en rose!"

Lady Gaga's silver-screen debut A Star Is Born is enjoying massive success with fans and critics alike: the film has grossed over $100 million domestically, tripling its production budget in less than three weeks in the United States alone, and is currently the frontrunner to win the Oscars for Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Actress among industry experts.

On Friday, Warner Bros. surprised fans by releasing a music video for "I'll Never Love Again" from the movie's soundtrack. Gaga co-wrote "I'll Never Love Again" with Hillary Lindsey, who previously helped pen "Million Reasons" and "A-YO" on Joanne, as well as country songwriters Natalie Hemby and Aaron Raitiere.

The power ballad is the last song Gaga's character Ally performs in the movie. Speaking to Zane Lowe, Gaga revealed that she filmed the scene just hours after learning that her childhood friend Sonja had passed away.

"My very dear friend Sonja died of cancer that day," Gaga said. "We were supposed to shoot in 30 minutes, and I left the set because her husband called me and I could hear her in the background and I just got in the car and drove. I missed her by 15 minutes. I laid with her, with her husband, and their dog, and his son. When I came back, Bradley was so gentle with me and we got through it. I performed the song. All I wanted to do was sing. I'll never forget that day. It was really a special scene, and I'll always remember that moment."

Fresh off the heels of her breathtaking Super Bowl Halftime show, Lady Gaga has announced the she'll be performing at this year's Grammys! The singer will take the stage at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, which will be held on on February 12th in Los Angeles, for a duet performance with Metallica.

"It has been my dream for so long to hear Gaga sing metal with a legendary band. I have never been so excited for a Gaga performance," a fan on the Gaga Daily forums wrote in response to the news, while another added: "She is the only pop star who could duet with Metallica."

Surprise! Lady Gaga has dropped a music video for "John Wayne," a track taken from her number one album Joanne. The wild visual was directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the man behind the singer's epic "Paparazzi" and "Telephone" mini movies, and filmed last month in California, just weeks before Gaga's performance at the Super Bowl.

"I have known Jonas for a really long time and we've been wanting to work together again," Gaga said. "He directed the music video, but the way we usually work is he likes to download from me all the visions of the song. I took him from a bunch of different scenarios and he helped to weave it together into a story. That's what I like about him too, he has a very cinematic approach, but he doesn't forget to make it a real music video."

Surprise! Lady Gaga flew to Azerbaijan to perform at tonight's Opening Ceremony of the inaugural European Games in Baku. Mother Monster delivered an emotional rendition of John Lennon's classic "Imagine" as part of the two-hour show.

Gaga said: "I'm extremely honoured to be playing at the Opening Ceremony in Baku, and to be celebrating all of the amazing athletes who will compete in the European Games in this beautiful city."

"I had such a great time with the audience," she added later. "It felt like we were in my bedroom singing songs and imagine life was more simple."

Lady Gaga says she wants to have kids with her fiancé Taylor Kinney but not until she makes the world a better place. Gaga called into 104.3 MyFM to talk about her latest single "Til It Happens to You," her music and acting plans, and starting a family with Taylor.

"I gotta fix some things in the world before I bring my baby girl here," Gaga said. "I just want to make sure I do everything I can before I have a child to know that I've tried to put as many good things into the world as possible so she can be proud of me, or that my son can be proud of me."

Gaga also said that she couldn't wait to do more acting, but she has to finish her new album first.

"If I don't make another album or don't finish the one I've been making, I think my fans are going to wait outside my house with pitchforks," she joked. "I love making music and I just needed some to really reflect on what it is that I wanted to say, and now I know what that is. You're just gonna have to wait and see!"

Lady Gaga's upcoming album is scheduled for a 2016 release. Confirmed collaborators for the project include RedOne ("Poker Face," "Bad Romance," "Judas,"), Diane Warren ("Til It Happens to You"), Mark Ronson, and Elton John.

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's highly-anticipated remake of the movie A Star Is Born has been confirmed to be R-rated in the United States. The Motion Picture Association of America has awarded an R rating for Gaga's big screen debut for "language throughout, some sexuality and nudity, and substance abuse."

While not much has been revealed about the content of the movie (fans expect the first official trailer to debut later this month), Gaga Daily members who attended one of the early pre-screenings report that there is a very brief full-frontal nude scene with Gaga which is likely one of the main reasons the movie received the R rating.

A Star is Born starring Lady Gaga (credited as Stefani Germanotta) and Bradley Cooper is set for release on May 18, 2018. Gaga plays an aspiring musician named Ally, who gets discovered by a country music star (Cooper) on the brink of decline.

Did you know that at 18 years old, Lady Gaga, then Stefani Germanotta, had a Facebook hate page about her? In a new essay, published by Public Radio International's Lauren Bohn, it is revealed that Stefani, who now has six Grammys, a Golden Globe, and is among the top-selling musicians of all time, used to have a Facebook group dedicated to saying she'd never be a star.

"When I was a freshman at NYU and Facebook was only a year old and people created/joined groups like 'I have dimples' and 'Fake ID, please!,' I remember coming across a Facebook group that broke my heart," Bohn wrote. "It's name, something like: 'Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous.'

"The page housed pictures of a pretty Norah Jones-esque young 18-year-old NYU student who sang and played piano at local bars. The group was peppered with comments, sharp as porcupine needles, vilifying the aspiring musician for being an 'attention w----e.' Scores asked: 'Who does she think she is?' I also remember one dude posting a flyer for one of her upcoming gigs at a local village bar. He had clearly stomped on the flyer, an outline of his muddy sole [soul] struggling to eclipse her name.

"I couldn't shake the raw feeling of filth while scrolling down that Facebook page, but I pretty much — and quickly — forgot about that group and that girl with the intense raven eyes. Until about five years later. I was on an Amtrak train from NYC to Philly, reading a Vanessa Grigoriadis New York Magazine profile on Lady Gaga. I floated somewhat mindlessly through the piece until I got to the first sentence of the second graf: 'Before the meeting, I assumed that someone with a stage name like 'Lady' (her given name is Stefani Joanne Germanotta) was going to be a bit standoffish...' "I was overcome with a dizzying emotional cocktail of stage-mom-at-a-beauty-pageant and nerd-revenge triumph. But also shame. Shame that I never wrote on that group, shame that I never defended the girl with the intense raven eyes — the girl whose brave flyers were stomped on, probably somewhere near my dorm."

In 2015, Gaga dedicated a part of her Woman of the Year speech to her haters as she accepted the award at Billboard's "Women in Music" event in New York City. "I'd like to say thank you to everyone that didn't believe in me," she said. "Because there was a lot of people. Probably more than believed, and you gave me a fire in my belly so strong I couldn't wait to prove you wrong, I'll tell you. 'Cause I might not be a lot of things, but I can write songs, and I can sing."

FX has released the official cast poster for the upcoming season of American Horror Story, titled Hotel. Lady Gaga took the stage at the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday night. During her 90-minute set, Gaga played some of her biggest hits, including "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face," as well as fan-favorite album cuts, such as "Teeth," "Venus," and "Scheiße." She also sang her brand new single "The Cure," which she debuted live at her first Coachella show last week.
