On the power of makeup:
I never felt beautiful, and I still have days that I don't feel beautiful. All of the insecurities that I've dealt with my whole life from being bullied when I was younger, they come right back up to bite me. Then I put makeup on, and before I know it I feel this superhero within. It gives me those wings to fly.

On how her team helped her be Lady Gaga on stage:
Sarah would pick me up off the floor, sit me in a chair, dry my tears, and say, 'I'm going to put on your face now.' If I cried while she was putting on my makeup, I would apologize, and she would say, 'It's okay. I've got you.' Sarah would do my makeup, Freddie would do my hair, and they would hold me and say, 'Look at yourself. There's Lady Gaga. You can do this. Now go do it.' And I would go out there, and the second that spotlight hits me, bam, I'm in the zone,” she says. “But I can't do that without them. That is the power of glam for me. Not everybody has a Sarah, but I'm very lucky that I do. And I want this line to be for the person at home who needs that pick-me-up. If they use it, or don't use it, they can at least look at it and go, 'That's what helps Lady Gaga shine on her bad days. And I want to shine today.'

On wanting Haus Laboratories to be a continuation of her championing of the LGBTQ+ community:
I would like all gender identities to know very clearly that they are included, and never exploited, ever. I want that little boy at home that might like to be called a girl to say, 'Mommy, I want to wear Dynasty. It's a Glam Attack.' And then Mommy goes, 'Oh, my son wants to be called a girl, and he wants the Glam Attack.' And then she goes and she gets it for him. And he uses it. And then there's a bond. It's kind of like when kids used to come to my shows with their parents, and they'd lean over and they'd say, 'Mommy and Daddy, I'm gay.' Or 'I'm not a boy; I'm a girl'. Or 'I'm not a girl; I'm a boy.' I have heard those stories so many times, over and over, for all of the years that I have been in this business. And I want the same thing that I've had in my concerts to happen with this company. If I'm not changing people's lives, what are we doing here?

Lady Gaga has announced that she is launching her own beauty brand, Haus Laboratories. The collection, which will include kits combining lip gloss, lip liner and all-over color, will launch in September with pre-orders beginning July 15th.

"When I was young, I never felt beautiful. And as I struggled to find a sense of both inner and outer beauty, I discovered the power of makeup," Gaga said in a press release. "I remember watching my mother put her makeup on every morning, basking in the glow of her power to put on her bravest face as the hard working woman she was. I then began to experiment with makeup as a way to make my dreams of being as strong as my mother become true."

She continued: "It was then that I invented Lady Gaga. I found the superhero within me by looking in the mirror and seeing who I wanted to be. Sometimes beauty doesn't come naturally from within. But I'm so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn't know I had. I've come to accept that I discovered my beauty by having the ability to invent myself and transform. They said I was just weird, but really, I was just Born This Way."

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at New York City’s historic Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village. Dressed head-to-toe in rainbow, the "Born This Way" singer gave an emotional speech outside the venue where, on June 28, 1969, hundreds of gay and transgender people  fought back against a discriminatory police raid.

"It makes me cry, I am so emotional today," a tearful Gaga told the crowd. "This community has fought and continued to fight a war of acceptance, a war of tolerance, and of the most relentless bravery. You are the definition of courage."

She continued: "The universe brought us together in the spirit of kindness, and together we’re a powerhouse. I hope you celebrate every inch of who you are today. You were born this way and you are superstars! I will continue to fight every day during shows, and even when I'm not on stage, to spread a message that’s actually quite simple: Be kind."

"True love is when you would take a bullet for someone," Gaga added. "And you know I would take a bullet for you any day of the week."

Lady Gaga brought her ENIGMA show to New York City's iconic Apollo Theater to celebrate streaming giants SiriusXM and Pandora coming together as one company.

"This is a very special experience being here, playing here for 1,500 people," Gaga told the crowd. "It's been over a decade since I was playing for crowds like this. I went from 30 people to 300 people to 1,500 people to 150,000 people. And that's because of one thing: everybody believing in me. I'd be nothing without you."

Lady Gaga has announced new dates for her massively successful Las Vegas residency. The superstar will close out the year with three shows on December 28, December 30, and December 31. Plus, she will play nine more shows in Spring 2020.

Lady Gaga will perform at New York City's iconic Apollo theater for the first time  during an invitation-only concert for SiriusXM and Pandora listeners on Monday, June 24.

"Performing at The Apollo has always been a dream of mine. Thank you to SiriusXM and Pandora for inviting me. I'm excited for my fans to see a special show at this iconic venue," Gaga said.

According to the press release, SiriusXM subscribers will have the opportunity to win tickets performance through an invitation sent by e-mail. Additionally, subscribers since May 5, 2019 will be able to enter for the chance to win a trip for two to New York City, including airfare, hotel stay, and a pair of front row tickets to the show.

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at the opening ceremony of the Apple Park in Cupertino, California on Thursday night. Gaga played her ENIGMA show for over 15,000 Apple employees on the Apple Stage, designed by Jony Ive, which is decorated with the colors of Apple's classic rainbow logo as a tribute to its late co-founder Steve Jobs.

Lady Gaga brought her ENIGMA show to the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on Thursday night. The show was part of the 2019 SAPPHIRE NOW keynote event, organized by SAP, a multinational corporation that develops enterprise software to manage business operations and customised relations.

During the two-hour set, Gaga not only delivered a stunning performance and rich vocals, but also made the crowd—which she referred to as "software people"—laugh with hilarious speeches. Here are some of our favorite quotes from the show:

When she told "software people" to party:

"Are you software people ready to f—king party? Put your f—king hands in the air!”

When she found a creative way to introduce "Telephone":

"Hold on one second… are ya'll holding cell phones? So do you mean to tell me, SAP, that you figure out some s—t for the future? So I guess I"m gonna still call your ass!”

When she taught the locals how to be a monster:

"This is a monster paw. Put it up now. Now dance!"

When she reminded them it's not their regular day at the office:

"There ain't no cubicles around here! There ain't no private planes!"

When she realized not everyone in the audience is a little monster:

"I used to play these shows downtown for not all of people at all. I remember this one show I played with my friend Lady Starlight. The club was on a corner, and it was all glass windows, and it felt like 30 people, it was really small. And I was sitting down playing piano and I looked up and I swear to you there was a hundred people outside with cameras pointed at me."

When she forgot she wasn't in Vegas:

"Hands up Las Ve… [giggles]"

And finally, when she reminded everyone why she isn't just another pop star:

"Just like you write your software, I write my own f—king music."

Lady Gaga made an epic entrance at the Camp-themed 2019 Met Gala wearing not one but four custom Brandon Maxwell looks... all at once! Gaga's red carpet performance was universally praised by fashion critics and fans alike, and even made Anna Wintour smile. Check out the press had to say below...

Elle: "It's as if Gaga has been training for this Met Gala for her entire career and tonight was her Olympics. The Queen of camp wore four looks in 15 minutes, and gave the audience just the right amount of theatrics to go along with them. Gaga and Maxwell should be incredibly proud."

Lady Gaga stole the show at the 2019 Met Gala as she served not one, but four jaw-dropping looks at the show's pink carpet. The "Shallow" singer posed for photographers wearing a giant Brandon Maxwell dress, which turned out to be an overcoat hiding another custom Maxwell creation.

The A Star Is Born era might not be over yet as Bradley Cooper has one more idea up his sleeve. Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, the Oscar-nominated director-slash-actor said that he wants to reunite with Lady Gaga for a one-off A Star Is Born show.

"What I thought would be a cool thing to do, maybe one night, would be like a live reading of the script and sing all the songs as we're reading the script, like at the Hollywood Bowl or something," he said.

If Cooper's idea comes alive, it will be only the third time he and Gaga have performed live together. Watch Cooper's interview below...

Lady Gaga's collaborations with famed producer Mark Ronson proved extremely fruitful as their first project Joanne topped charts around the world and earned them a Grammy, while their latest collaboration "Shallow" from A Star Is Born shattered records and took home the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The success led fans to speculate that Ronson would be contributing to Gaga's next album, due out later this year, however, the hitmaker has now confirmed that he isn't involved in the project.

Speaking to his followers during a live stream on Instagram, Ronson revealed that he did not produce on LG6 (a nickname fans dubbed the yet-untitled album, which stands for Lady Gaga 6 or her sixth solo release), but from what he's heard the album is "incredible."

"I know that everybody who's worked on it and has heard anything says it' incredible and I don't doubt it," he said. "All of her records are pretty f----ing iconic, she always does something unexpected."

Little is known about the upcoming project. It is rumored to be released this summer, with collaborators including German DJ Boys Noize and Joanne producer Bloodpop.

Lady Gaga is named as one of TIME magazine's 100 most influential people in the world, along with fellow pop stars Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift, who are the only female musicians on the list. The "Shallow" singer has been enjoying massive success with her debut movie A Star Is Born, for which she won a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, two Grammys, and an Academy Award.

Lady Gaga made an appearance at the Daily Front Row's 5th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday night to present her hair stylist and friend Frederic Aspiras with the Best Hair Stylist award. Wearing chic a black-and-white Rodarte dress, the Academy Award winner posed for pictures before delivering a moving speech at the show.

"There are no words that I could say, no speech I could give that would adequately express the deep love, admiration, and respect that I have for Frederic Aspiras," Gaga said. "Even saying his full name as the rockstar he's become I find myself thinking, 'No, he's not just in my eyes the greatest hair artist in the world. He's the brother I never had.' And he's truly one of my best friends in the whole world and I call him Freddy. A boy who was born in San Francisco who then moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. And he has done beyond that in spades. And that is why you are here today."

Lady Gaga took to her Twitter account on Tuesday to shut down pregnancy rumors and share what she's actually expecting... new music! "Rumors I'm pregnant? Yeah, I'm pregnant with LG6," the Academy Award winner wrote. "LG6" refers to Gaga's next album, which will be her sixth solo one.

This is the fourth non-consecutive week atop the Billboard 200 for the blockbuster soundtrack. The set debuted at No. 1 in October 2018 and hasn't left the top ten of the chart since.

Lady Gaga stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live for her first interview following her huge night at the 91st Academy Awards. Gaga talked about her first Oscar win, her show-stopping performance with Bradley Cooper,  and even those rumors that she and Cooper were "in love."

"First of all, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet and what it's done to pop culture is abysmal," Gaga told Kimmel. "People saw love and, guess what, that's what we wanted to you to see. This is a love song. The movie is a love story."

She continued: "From a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time. When you're singing love songs, that's how you want people to feel. I'm an artist! I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!"
