Lady Gaga says she isn't going to mention the new president of the United States Donald Trump during her show at Sunday's Super Bowl. Speaking to Atlanta's 98.5 KLUC, the Pepsi Zero Sugar Halftime show headliner explained that her performance will be dedicated to everyone in America.

"No," she said when asked if she will be saying anything about the new president. "That's not what the show is about. The show is coming from my heart to everyone in America that I love so much. This is my country and I'm proud to be a pop star from this country. I've travelled the whole world and it's something special to be from America. I want people that watch the Halftime show to feel the greatness of the USA."

She continued: "I mean, the thing is because I know I have a bigger stage that day and that I've had a lot of really big stages that I'm grateful for, you know the power of your voice. And I would like to use to that voice to bring people together on that day. Saying anything divisive would only make things worse. And that's just not what I want for my country."

Lady Gaga has been a vocal opponent of Donald Trump and campaigned for Hillary Clinton in the election. Following Trump's upset win, Gaga was photographed holding up a "Love Trumps Hate" sign outside of Trump Tower in New York City.

Super Bowl LI will take place on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Lady Gaga is about to enter the wine business, TMZ reports exclusively. The Super Bowl LI Halftime show performer is launching her own brand of wine, named "Grigio Girls" after a bonus track on her latest album Joanne.

Gaga's company has registered the trademark in December and will produce "wine, prepared wine cocktails, wine coolers, wine punches and prepared alcoholic cocktails."

"Grigio Girls" is a song written about Gaga's longtime friend and creative director at the Haus of Gaga, who is fighting stage four cancer. "It's about how me and all of our girlfriends would get together and cry without her when she's not around. Because we love her so much and we just want to be strong with her."

An official announcement is expected later this year.

Lady Gaga will perform at New York City's iconic Apollo theater for the first time  during an invitation-only concert for SiriusXM and Pandora listeners on Monday, June 24.

"Performing at The Apollo has always been a dream of mine. Thank you to SiriusXM and Pandora for inviting me. I'm excited for my fans to see a special show at this iconic venue," Gaga said.

According to the press release, SiriusXM subscribers will have the opportunity to win tickets performance through an invitation sent by e-mail. Additionally, subscribers since May 5, 2019 will be able to enter for the chance to win a trip for two to New York City, including airfare, hotel stay, and a pair of front row tickets to the show.

Did you know that at 18 years old, Lady Gaga, then Stefani Germanotta, had a Facebook hate page about her? In a new essay, published by Public Radio International's Lauren Bohn, it is revealed that Stefani, who now has six Grammys, a Golden Globe, and is among the top-selling musicians of all time, used to have a Facebook group dedicated to saying she'd never be a star.

"When I was a freshman at NYU and Facebook was only a year old and people created/joined groups like 'I have dimples' and 'Fake ID, please!,' I remember coming across a Facebook group that broke my heart," Bohn wrote. "It's name, something like: 'Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous.'

"The page housed pictures of a pretty Norah Jones-esque young 18-year-old NYU student who sang and played piano at local bars. The group was peppered with comments, sharp as porcupine needles, vilifying the aspiring musician for being an 'attention w----e.' Scores asked: 'Who does she think she is?' I also remember one dude posting a flyer for one of her upcoming gigs at a local village bar. He had clearly stomped on the flyer, an outline of his muddy sole [soul] struggling to eclipse her name.

"I couldn't shake the raw feeling of filth while scrolling down that Facebook page, but I pretty much — and quickly — forgot about that group and that girl with the intense raven eyes. Until about five years later. I was on an Amtrak train from NYC to Philly, reading a Vanessa Grigoriadis New York Magazine profile on Lady Gaga. I floated somewhat mindlessly through the piece until I got to the first sentence of the second graf: 'Before the meeting, I assumed that someone with a stage name like 'Lady' (her given name is Stefani Joanne Germanotta) was going to be a bit standoffish...' HOLY S---, I screamed to an empty car (Those who hang with me will know that I actually shrieked). LADY GAGA IS STEFANI GERMANOTTA? STEFANI IS LADY GAGA?

"I was overcome with a dizzying emotional cocktail of stage-mom-at-a-beauty-pageant and nerd-revenge triumph. But also shame. Shame that I never wrote on that group, shame that I never defended the girl with the intense raven eyes — the girl whose brave flyers were stomped on, probably somewhere near my dorm."

In 2015, Gaga dedicated a part of her Woman of the Year speech to her haters as she accepted the award at Billboard's "Women in Music" event in New York City. "I'd like to say thank you to everyone that didn't believe in me," she said. "Because there was a lot of people. Probably more than believed, and you gave me a fire in my belly so strong I couldn't wait to prove you wrong, I'll tell you. 'Cause I might not be a lot of things, but I can write songs, and I can sing."

Lady Gaga has announced new dates for her massively successful Las Vegas residency. The superstar will close out the year with three shows on December 28, December 30, and December 31. Plus, she will play nine more shows in Spring 2020.

Fresh off the heels of her breathtaking Super Bowl Halftime show, Lady Gaga has announced the she'll be performing at this year's Grammys! The singer will take the stage at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, which will be held on on February 12th in Los Angeles, for a duet performance with Metallica.

"It has been my dream for so long to hear Gaga sing metal with a legendary band. I have never been so excited for a Gaga performance," a fan on the Gaga Daily forums wrote in response to the news, while another added: "She is the only pop star who could duet with Metallica."

Lady Gaga brought her ENIGMA show to New York City's iconic Apollo Theater to celebrate streaming giants SiriusXM and Pandora coming together as one company.

"This is a very special experience being here, playing here for 1,500 people," Gaga told the crowd. "It's been over a decade since I was playing for crowds like this. I went from 30 people to 300 people to 1,500 people to 150,000 people. And that's because of one thing: everybody believing in me. I'd be nothing without you."

Lady Gaga is coming to RuPaul's Drag Race! The Super Bowl headliner took to her Twitter account on Tuesday to announce that she will be appearing on the season premiere of the reality show.

"The time has come! I'm joining the girls on the season premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race," she tweeted along with the hashtags #DontBeADrag and #JustBeAQueen from her iconic 2011 hit single "Born This Way," which she performed for over 100 million people on Sunday.

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at New York City’s historic Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village. Dressed head-to-toe in rainbow, the "Born This Way" singer gave an emotional speech outside the venue where, on June 28, 1969, hundreds of gay and transgender people  fought back against a discriminatory police raid.

"It makes me cry, I am so emotional today," a tearful Gaga told the crowd. "This community has fought and continued to fight a war of acceptance, a war of tolerance, and of the most relentless bravery. You are the definition of courage."

She continued: "The universe brought us together in the spirit of kindness, and together we’re a powerhouse. I hope you celebrate every inch of who you are today. You were born this way and you are superstars! I will continue to fight every day during shows, and even when I'm not on stage, to spread a message that’s actually quite simple: Be kind."

"True love is when you would take a bullet for someone," Gaga added. "And you know I would take a bullet for you any day of the week."

Lady Gaga's epic 12-minute performance at Sunday's Super Bowl Halftime show might have involved powerhouse vocals, fierce dance moves, a powerful message, and even a swan-dive from the roof, instead Gaga's "belly" is what some viewers decide to put their focus on. Despite the fact that the singer spent months training for the biggest performance of her career, some Internet bullies took to their social media accounts to criticise her for not having a flat stomach.

Those body-shaming comments spawned strong reaction from Lady Gaga's Little Monsters, and now Mother Monster herself decided to respond to the criticism.

"I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too," she wrote in an Instagram post. "No matter who you are or what you do. That's the stuff of champions. thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys."

Lady Gaga has announced that she is launching her own beauty brand, Haus Laboratories. The collection, which will include kits combining lip gloss, lip liner and all-over color, will launch in September with pre-orders beginning July 15th.

"When I was young, I never felt beautiful. And as I struggled to find a sense of both inner and outer beauty, I discovered the power of makeup," Gaga said in a press release. "I remember watching my mother put her makeup on every morning, basking in the glow of her power to put on her bravest face as the hard working woman she was. I then began to experiment with makeup as a way to make my dreams of being as strong as my mother become true."

She continued: "It was then that I invented Lady Gaga. I found the superhero within me by looking in the mirror and seeing who I wanted to be. Sometimes beauty doesn't come naturally from within. But I'm so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn't know I had. I've come to accept that I discovered my beauty by having the ability to invent myself and transform. They said I was just weird, but really, I was just Born This Way."

Surprise! Lady Gaga has dropped a music video for "John Wayne," a track taken from her number one album Joanne. The wild visual was directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the man behind the singer's epic "Paparazzi" and "Telephone" mini movies, and filmed last month in California, just weeks before Gaga's performance at the Super Bowl.

"I have known Jonas for a really long time and we've been wanting to work together again," Gaga said. "He directed the music video, but the way we usually work is he likes to download from me all the visions of the song. I took him from a bunch of different scenarios and he helped to weave it together into a story. That's what I like about him too, he has a very cinematic approach, but he doesn't forget to make it a real music video."

On the power of makeup:
I never felt beautiful, and I still have days that I don't feel beautiful. All of the insecurities that I've dealt with my whole life from being bullied when I was younger, they come right back up to bite me. Then I put makeup on, and before I know it I feel this superhero within. It gives me those wings to fly.

On how her team helped her be Lady Gaga on stage:
Sarah would pick me up off the floor, sit me in a chair, dry my tears, and say, 'I'm going to put on your face now.' If I cried while she was putting on my makeup, I would apologize, and she would say, 'It's okay. I've got you.' Sarah would do my makeup, Freddie would do my hair, and they would hold me and say, 'Look at yourself. There's Lady Gaga. You can do this. Now go do it.' And I would go out there, and the second that spotlight hits me, bam, I'm in the zone,” she says. “But I can't do that without them. That is the power of glam for me. Not everybody has a Sarah, but I'm very lucky that I do. And I want this line to be for the person at home who needs that pick-me-up. If they use it, or don't use it, they can at least look at it and go, 'That's what helps Lady Gaga shine on her bad days. And I want to shine today.'

On wanting Haus Laboratories to be a continuation of her championing of the LGBTQ+ community:
I would like all gender identities to know very clearly that they are included, and never exploited, ever. I want that little boy at home that might like to be called a girl to say, 'Mommy, I want to wear Dynasty. It's a Glam Attack.' And then Mommy goes, 'Oh, my son wants to be called a girl, and he wants the Glam Attack.' And then she goes and she gets it for him. And he uses it. And then there's a bond. It's kind of like when kids used to come to my shows with their parents, and they'd lean over and they'd say, 'Mommy and Daddy, I'm gay.' Or 'I'm not a boy; I'm a girl'. Or 'I'm not a girl; I'm a boy.' I have heard those stories so many times, over and over, for all of the years that I have been in this business. And I want the same thing that I've had in my concerts to happen with this company. If I'm not changing people's lives, what are we doing here?

I was at Bradley's house with Lars and we were just hanging out. He's amazing. I went to see them live, I’ve seen them a couple times live, but I saw them live recently and we were watching the show and I'll tell you something, those guys play better than they've ever played in their whole lives.

On the new video for "John Wayne":
I have known Jonas [Akerlund] for a really long time and we've been wanting to work together again. For this song I thought he and I would just be perfect to do this together. He directed the music video, but the way we usually start when we work is he likes to download from me all my visions about the song. I'll tell him 'I envision me on the back of a horse with a guy and I'm about to fall off and no matter how fast he goes and  how much it hurts I keep hanging on and I look like I'm enjoying it, or, you know, a scene with me and a guy in a car and we're getting too reckless and we show how reckless love can be.' I took him through a whole bunch of different scenarios like that and he helps to weave it together into a story and a video.

Lady Gaga officially launched her makeup brand Haus Laboratories with a 500-guest party on Monday night in Santa Monica.

"I have always, even prior to my career, wanted to spread love around the world," Gaga told the guests. "At first I found that way through music, but it was the discovery of makeup that helped me transform into the artist and person I always wanted to be. It helped me to love myself. No matter what. With the makeup or not."

The "Million Reasons" revealed the secrets behind the Halftime performance, explained why she clapped back at Internet bullies on Instagram, and shared the inspiration behind her brand new video for "John Wayne."

On her Super Bowl Halftime show performance:
I watched, I think, almost every single halftime show and I looked at what really, really worked, and what I thought didn't work, what I thought was impactful visually, how to use the stadium, how to do something that was a little different but was still me. Ultimately what I discovered was, I thought less was more for me. Even though it probably didn't seem like that watching the show because it was so big, it really was just a really cool stage with fire. There wasn't a lot of technology other than the 300 drones.

On dominating iTunes charts following the show:
I think that even if you have my music, or you don't have it, there's something about a live performance that can reignite the fan in you. It made me feel good. What I wanted more than anything was for people to watch the halftime show and just be transported for a second out of the game and out of life, really, and to a new dream.

On the newly-released video for "John Wayne":
It comes out of the "Million Reasons" video and it was really fun to shoot. It's me inhabiting all the things about myself that I know are not always safe and not always good for me, and really admitting to my cravings for wild and dangerous men and activities.
