Lady Gaga turned up at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday night to support her longtime friend and stylist Brandon Maxwell as he debuted his brand new collection. Wearing custom Maxwell, Gaga was seen cheering on Brandon at the front row and gave him a standing ovation when the designer took his bow at the end.

Lady Gaga is in talks to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, Billboard reports exclusively. A source told the magazine that one of the reasons Gaga is a strong contender for the honor is her performance of the national anthem at this year's game, which drew universal praise.

"We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, at this point we do not have a final decision," an NFL rep said when asked about Gaga. "We're happy there is so much excitement about the show."

Earlier this week, Gaga said she would "absolutely" consider playing the show if asked and would bring her LG5 collaborators, including Mark Ronson, Florence Welch, and Beck, on stage.

Lady Gaga continues the promo tour for her brand new single "Perfect Illusion" with two amazing interviews which were broadcast live on Facebook. Gaga sat down with Amp Radio and Fresh Radio on Monday to discuss the new song, her upcoming album, and much more. Check out excerpts from the interview or watch the full thing below!

On the new album being her most personal yet:
A lot of this record is about me delving into my relationship with my father, understanding him, healing my relationship with him. Also, about my relationship with my girl friends. One of my best friends has stage four cancer and I wrote a song about how me and my friends would get together without her to cry, because we couldn't cry in front of her. And then there's songs like "Hey Girl" with Florence about women lifting each other up. So, each record is about these sort of different things I've experienced just going back to being a woman and erasing fame from the equation when I'm in the studio.

On when fans can expect the album to drop:
Relatively soon. I can't give you the exact date, but it's coming before the end of the year. This is actually the most finished I've been with a record when the first single comes out. Mark [Ronson] is quite regimented. He has like a board, he calls it "The Board of Completion" and I call it "The Bored of Completion."

On the LG5 tour:
Nothing is going to be particularly stripped down. This is not me being like, "Oh, this is the real me, surprise!" This is just where I am in my life right now, how I feel right now. I always change. Whenever I make a new record, it always teaches me something. And these shows will be whatever feels right. The music is going to dictate the show. The music is really fun, but it's dynamic and I feel the show is going to be that way. It's going to make you laugh, and cry, and dance, and jump, and scream. And I miss my fans so much and I certainly want to give them what they want. And I think I know what they want. I think I do. 

On working with Bradley Cooper on A Star Is Born:
You know what I didn't expect? I didn't expect for us to be such real friends. He's such a normal cool dude, but he's a genius.

Although Lady Gaga and RedOne recorded at least eight tracks for her upcoming album, it looks like only one song made it to the final track listing. Speaking to Metro UK, Gaga revealed that there's "a beautiful song with RedOne," on LG5, adding that "it has been a wonderful experience creating the album with Mark Ronson."

The track Gaga referred to is likely the one that was originally considered for the project's lead single. "I don't know where she is musically or mentally right now," RedOne said back in May. "We tried to recreate the magic together in the studio and I think we have some amazing songs, but then again, she's very busy. At some point, one of the songs was going to be the first single, but then it changed. I don't know what happened."

RedOne is the man behind some of Lady Gaga's best-selling hits, including "Just Dance," "Poker Face," "Bad Romance," and "Alejandro." Aside from the singles, he's also produced such gems as "Scheiße," "Monster," and "Hair." Gaga's 2013 album ARTPOP was her first not to feature any tracks produced by RedOne, however, he is credited as a co-writer on the fan favorite "Gypsy."

Despite swirling rumors, Lady Gaga's brand new song "Perfect Illusion" is not targeted at her ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney. Speaking to Andy Cohen on Sirius XM, Gaga described that track as a rage against "perfect illusions" in modern life and added that she would never use a song to publicly diss a friend.

"'Perfect Illusion' is about a lot of different people in my life, a lot of different things," she said. "I wrote this song with Kevin Parker from Tame Impala, and BloodPop, and Mark Ronson. The record is about being so intoxicated with love, so high dilated, falling free in a modern ecstasy that you wake up one day and you can't believe that it was not real. 'How did that happen? How did I do that?' And the song is raging against that experience. And I think also it's really hard for people to date today."

Gaga continued: "I love Taylor so so much. This song is not a hit-out against Taylor. He's my best friend. This song is just about not only feelings that I've had, but that he's had, that my friends have had, my sister has in her relationship. It's a record about all of us. I would never use my song or want to use the public to hurt anyone that I love so much."

Lady Gaga has spilled more details on her collaboration with British musician Florence Welch! Speaking to Z100's Elvis Duran, Gaga revealed that the much buzzed-about track is called "Hey Girl" and shared a little bit of song's lyrics.

"Florence and I when we were working together we cried, we laughed, we hugged each other," she said of working with Welch. The lyrics open with Gaga singing, "Hey girl can you hear me, are you holding out your heart," to which Welch responds, "Hey girl can you feel me, sometimes I go too far." Gaga then sings, "Hey girl it ain't easy I know it's pulling me apart. Hey girl don't you leave me. Hey girl we can make it easy if we lift each other. We don't need to on oneing-up another."

Gaga first announced the duet while promoting her new song "Perfect Illusion" on British radio. "Florence is incredible, I can't say enough nice things about her," Gaga said. "She's a lovely woman, a lovely friend. We made a beautiful record together that I'm very proud of. A record for women. It's something that you kind of work your whole life to do – be able to work with an artist that you believe in as much as I believe in Florence. Her voice is sensational. She's one of the greatest singers in the world."

Lady Gaga says she can't wait to tour for her new album. Speaking to Big Top 40's Marvin Humes, Gaga revealed that the yet-untitled record is nearly finished and she's already thinking about the world tour supporting the project.

"[LG5] is almost completely finished and I've never been this finished with an album at the time I was releasing the first single," Gaga said. "I'm usually still cutting down tracks and things, but not for this. This we have pretty homed in."

She continued: "I'm gonna tour again certainly. I can't wait to tour this album! I'm always in the studio with Mark and the guys whipping my hair around and dancing just like practicing my moves and going, 'Can you imagine doing this part?' and they're like, 'Get back and do your vocals!'"

Lady Gaga's song "Til It Happens to You" has won an Emmy award! The Diane Warren-penned tune took home the award for Best Original Music and Lyrics at the 68th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony on Saturday.

"I get to say my Oscar speech," Warren laughed while accepting her award. She thanked Lady Gaga for "being brave enough to work on this with me, giving voice to those who are silent, who are afraid to speak," and thought “no one would hear them. "You are not alone. We hear you."

Unfortunately, despite co-writing and producing the track, Lady Gaga was not credited by the Television Academy and will not share the award with Diane. "Gaga was very important to that song, I feel like it's her song as much as mine," Warren told paparazzi earlier this year and joked, "we're just going to break the trophy in half. I don't know, I'll probably get the ass part of it."

"Til It Happens To You" was featured in the documentary The Hunting Ground, which focuses on sexual assault on US college campuses. This year, the single became the first song in history to be nominated for an Oscar, a Grammy, and an Emmy.

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at London's Moth club on Friday night to play a mini-show during which she performed her brand new single "Perfect Illusion" for the very first time. Wearing silver hotpants and a cropped t-shirt, Gaga made the excited crowd dance, sweat, and sing along to the new tune, which currently sits at number one on the UK iTunes.

Lady Gaga has a tradition of getting a tattoo for each one of her albums and LG5 will be no exception. Speaking to Heat Radio UK's Sarah Powell, Gaga revealed that she is about to get a tattoo celebrating her brand new record, due out later this year. 

"I'm about to get [a tattoo]," she said. "It will be the title of the new album. I always get a tattoo for my new record. The only one I didn't have one for was The Fame, but I would that to be my David Bowie tattoo because the lightning bold was his make up."

Kevin flew to us from Australia and he came with this idea, that was the beginning of a song called "Illusion." I work on a typewriter and we would bounce new lyrics back and forth. We stripped everything away. Changed the melody, shifted it. I sat at piano, Kevin was on guitar, Mark was on the bass.

On the meaning behind "Perfect Illusion":
How do we navigate through social media? How do we look through these images that we know are filtered and altered, and decipher what is reality and what is a perfect illusion? There are also a lot of things on the internet that are not reality. And I think people are pressured to keep that personal illusion going on in their real lives. So this song is about raging against it and letting it go. It's about wanting people to re-establish that human connection.

On the upcoming album:
The album is pretty finished. We're finalizing the mixes and some of the vocals here and there. I'm always charging each song with as many hooks as possible until Mark starts shouting at me and is like "That's enough!" But we have a great relationship and yeah, we're almost there. It's amazing to be there finally.

Rumors of a possible collaboration between the musicians surfaced last month when Florence shared an Instagram picture of her standing in front of a blue Ford Bronco – the same custom vintage car that Gaga owns.

Producer BloodPop, who co-wrote Gaga's new single "Perfect Illusion" with Mark Ronson, Kevin Parker, and Gaga herself, says the highly-anticipated release is both a rock song and a dance floor banger. The young musician spoke about working on the track in a new interview with Rolling Stone, saying: "They started at noon and wrote into the night. Every few days, a lyric would change and it would get better and better."

BloodPop added that "Perfect Illusion" is "a big rock song that makes you want to dance" while the yet-untitled album it will appear on is "soul-rooted, but pop at heart."

Mark Ronson says Lady Gaga is showing a different side of her voice on her upcoming album. Speaking to A Polaroid Story, the British musician, who is the main collaborator on Gaga's yet-untitled record, revealed that the singer sounds "husky" and "wounded" on the songs they had written together.

"I can't really say much about [the album]," Ronson said. "There's some incredible people working on it, but I feel like she's the artist, it's her place when she thinks the time is right to tell the story."

He continued: "But it’s some of my favorite music I’ve ever worked on. It’s like this different side of her voice that I guess I never really heard before. Because the songs are so personal, it’s quite husky and wounded and not as maybe massive as some of the other recordings. It’s a voice that gives you a hug almost."

A Lady Gaga and Florence Welch collab might be in our future. On top of that, Gaga's Little Monsters aka Little Detectives pointed out that not only are both musicians in California right now, they were also both recently spotted with Mark Ronson, who is producing Mother Monster's upcoming record.

"Florence is my other favorite artist other than Gaga so this would be a dream come true," a fan on the Gaga Daily forums wrote, while another joked: "See, this is why Australia has number plates on both front and back of vehicles... makes it easier to see who the celebs are collaborating with."
