.... will you let it go. Not to be negative, but you're only setting yourself up for disappointment. If Gaga at some point decides to release something ARTPOP related, then it'll be a great surprise. But if she doesn't, that's her right and life goes on.

But how come all you posted about your fourth studio album's anniversary was a promotion of lackluster merchandise? how come many people involved in the creation of the album and era said something but Gaga herself...? I'm aware Gaga doesn't owe us anything, nor she's obligated to accomplish our expectations, but what her management did yesterday feels so dirty and bad. I wasn't expecting her to give ARTPOP the same treatment as BTW (thank God)... but the fact they simply seem indifferent about it, knowing how impactful this album has become, is... sad y'all, really sad

Let’s see, if we carry the likely scrapped CBT film, divide by the likely scrapped special project teased this summer, and multiply by the non existent ARTPOP ACT II / new ARTPOP songs, I’d say she’s about 10% done. So she’ll either go the Joanne route and spend the next 5 months writing for a spring 2024 release, or the Chromatica route and wait two years to finish it.

The album only went #1 on iTunes, where you need like 2 sales to chart. The sales were so low that it didn’t even enter the Billboard 200, not even at #200. 40 leftover songs is normal, Gaga probably has that many for most of her albums. I don't think it works like this She had a prior version of ARTPOP that was pretty "done" in the late BTW era, but then she broke her hip and we got an entirely different version of ARTPOP. She had a conceptualized followup album to ARTPOP that's never seen the light of day and very well may not in the future. She had a darker, "AHS inspired" album that RedOne was involved in being created in 2015 that was scrapped and she released Joanne in 2016 instead. She and DJWS were working on an album around the same time ASIB's music was made and during the promotion of it. So, 2017-2019. Then she decided to work with Bloodclot instead and we got Chromatica in 2020 which was an entirely different project. There's no telling what stage of development the LG7 we get is actually in. She could have an entire concept fleshed out with fully mastered tracks then she can change everything at any time and start over I have to figure LG7's release and promotion will coincide with Joker though. Joker isn't her "breakthrough" like ASIB was so I doubt it'll get its whole special era. Instead, it'll get a mini promo era on release which will come a couple months after LG7's release. It'll be a good bump in attention that'll help the album and the album will help the movie. Or maybe she'll wait until 2025 Either way, I'm ready whenever

I know I know, this is still an open wound for many and while I still feel like her Team (not her) could've done more - they're clearly focusing on other things. If the past few years taught us anything is that Gaga is never sitting still. There is always a song to be written, a movie to act in, a LipLacquer Color to be released. With Burns liking a Tweet about being in the Studio with Gaga last month, her being ominously silent - I'm sure she's just in Album Mode for LG7. So let's celebrate ARTPOP this weekend as Monsters, think about how insane the Promo run was for that Album and look forward to how Gaga will surprise us next.

Fame Monster is complete. Nothing Else I can say, eh? Is it just one disappointing thing? People have grown tired of her constant partnerships since the start of Tudor. Now she posts 20+ posts a year about Haus Labs with her biggest visuals being for a Dom Perignon ad. Her musical promotion has been limited to her Jazz residency which international fans feel slighted about and the CBT film that's been silent for half a year while artists who started their tours after hers finished already released their films. And this was all after an ad for headache medicine caused backlash and she felt forced to speak on these things. Lastly (although I personally understand her reasons) people are disappointed in the lack of Chromatica promotion in 2020, with people counting a tie in promotion (Oreos) as promo. People are just looking for a good reason to stay when she's giving them a million to let her go because after all this time there's really not much effort on her end to show she still cares about music. And it's starting to feel like they're being used by the woman who once defied everything she's been echoing for the past 3-4 years.

the thing is it could be almost done and then tomorrow Gaga wakes up and has a change of heart and scraps the whole project and starts it all over again with a brand new team of producers and songwriters and completely different concept, so we never know
