  1. Calling it now - They'll use the Koons ball for the front of the Sphere for the 10th anniversary.

  2. Last one was: Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour.

  3. if she could pull it off contractually, it would be AMAZING to be doing a pop show here and a jazz show where she always has. but imagine the confused locals who show up to the wrong theater

  4. Umm I think she should be able to walk around with her date/bf, holding hands or not, not her fault she is being photographed. Also I don't think she should care, what's tiring is the public and media obsession over her dating life. Also to say this is a marketing tactic is silly, I really don't think she needs to do this to sell her albums or tour tickets...

  5. I can’t believe my generation of gays will never have a Gaga, Madonna, Adele, Rihanna feature with each other. These girls are everything and give us nothing.

  6. Her flow is bored, all her songs have the same beat, she has 0 stage presence. There's literally NOTHING interesting in this girl.

  8. SAG-AFTRA Chief Negotiator and National Executive Director Duncan Crabtree-Ireland is very happy with Taylor Swift. We, (Deadline), spoke with Crabtree-Ireland today at New York Comic-Con where he took the stage for a panel about AI. What’s your take on the whole Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour phenomenon at the box office this weekend? I know the film has a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement, but the film’s success comes at a time when actors can’t promote, and we’re clearly seeing the impact of that at the box office. Actors can promote any project that has an interim agreement. There are projects that have had premieres, that have been promoted using our members where there are interim agreements. The success of the Eras Tour movie is a testament to the importance of creative talent in not only creating projects but promoting projects. I’m thrilled that it has been so successful. Taylor Swift is a member of SAG-AFTRA. She has done a lot to help other artists in the industry. I hope that the studios are paying attention because it is important sign of creative partners who have talent and provide a fair deal where we can get the industry back to work. https://deadline.com/2023/10/actors-strike-talks-update-taylor-swift-1235573736/ Someone tell Bobby to get interim agreement STAT!

  9. It did lmao at least in popular music. like there’s no way in hell today you’d get a song like telephone from these stars. In most cases it seems like now when someone hops on a song with someone the song kinda sucks lmao Gaga and BeyoncĂ© blew the sh!t out of telephone together. Probably one of Beyoncé’s more interesting collabs since imo she doesn’t typically collab with people in her caliber so she tends to take over the track. That’s probably somewhat strategic but telephone is such an interesting collab bc it’s really two divas in their power doing their thing together on a beat that REALLY suits the collaborator (bc Bey is no stranger to riding weird af beats made by darkchild lol). And Gaga is so versatile that it works for her too and is probably the only duet I’ve heard with BeyoncĂ© where she legit is balanced with the other singer. It really takes a b!tch like Gaga to do that lmao but yeah nothing like that in popular music these days imo

  10. “The female-fueled concert film opened to an estimated $95 million to $97 million from 3,850 theaters, thanks to the superstar’s powerful fandom. AMC Theatres, which is distributing the movie, is breaking from the norm and not giving a weekend estimate that is usually provided by Hollywood studios on Sunday morning. Instead, it will wait until Monday morning to declare an official gross” “Swift’s movie has much to celebrate in already becoming the top-grossing concert film of all time in North America in its first weekend, as well as possibly beating Joker ($96.2 million) to serve up the biggest October opening of all time, not adjusted for inflation.”

  13. If it's a quality matter, it's quite sad Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are able to push something good in a matter of months and Gaga can't in +1 year. Mark my words Madonna will also come with something from her tour ( there's already some professional recordings being released just the day after her first show). Something totally feels verywrong about Gaga tbh. Maybe there's something to learn about it. Anyway I personnaly learnt not expecting anything from her anymore when it's about her music, tours, eras.

  17. The global pop superstar is taping her new larger-than-life show for one night only. You won't want to miss it! All participants will be compensated $250 for their time. https://1iota.com/show/1611/live-filmed-performance---katy-perry?promo=katycatsplay23

  18. Her jazz and piano shows are not going away. Its a fact. And that cannot be performed at Sphere. My guess is it will be negotiated in her contract with MGM to do a limited run at the Sphere (like maybe 10 shows kinda like U2?) and still do jazz and piano at park. They will bend over backwards for Gaga. She is their money queen. At the Oct 5 J&P show I was at she said I love Vegas and will be back in a little bit (for J&P—with a new setlist). And she loves performing jazz, so I could see a few pop shows at the sphere (since its too large for the typical Vegas residency) and J&P at Park

  19. Right likeee how is walking around in public “milking” their relationship lol I would ask rhetorically if they’re supposed to just hole up and stay at home but another comment in this thread suggests that that is indeed what they want from her

  20. Even though we don't know the definitive reason her and Joe broke up, I really miss the dynamic they had just keeping everything out of the public eye. I guess it would be hard to do that if you're dating a pretty notable football player though...

  21. She's already milking this new relationship as usual... and her next album is gonna do it even more

  22. 1. We don’t need more music I think we’re all tired of the music. We just got a new song last month, and a whole solo studio album three years ago. We can wait, and Gaga has more important stuff to do. 2. No one likes ARTPOP I think it always ranks last on our favorite albums. Why would a second act be better? 3. ARTPOP is traumatic for Gaga If we’ve learned anything, it’s that if you have trauma you should always box it up and be afraid of revisiting it. Why would one face their demons and try to reclaim a part of their life and story that was stolen from them? 4. How could Gaga even tie in HausLabs? Makeup is all about art, how could she actively promote that while also promoting an album about art? 5. Gaga’s November schedule is already too busy I get it’s a perfect time, lining up with the 10 year anniversary, but how else will she delay the CBT film, if she’s too busy releasing music?

  23. Madonna is so unreachable when it's about making live shows. The lady was receiving hospital cares like a couple month ago, she's 65 and she's going into a big worldwide tour for 78 dates. She's so powerful ! Can't wait for attending in Paris next month ! If I only had something to add to this show, it's Frozen. The song is one of her most iconic songs. And it would fit song good with Rain.

  26. Pretty Iconique that she refused to have her music on Spotify for a while and now she monopolizes it lol

  27. Taylor's put out as many albums in 2 years as Ariana and Gaga have their whole career though

  28. I feel like a lot people in this community will meltdown a lot when the strike will be over and realizing there's no plan to release the CBT anymore

  29. Having a drag queen not just as the show opener but as THE opening of the show is so powerful! Something I'd expect only from Madonna herself. To give that space for representation to a drag queen of color in times like this is truly amazing. And then that beautiful tribute to her friends who passed away during the AIDS epidemic. The message is loud and clear.

  31. I think its easily in her top 4 tours ever tbh. Tonight had some issues with the sound and it was much more pervasive than she made aware. I could tell just having performing experience for over the half concert there was sound issues. Her in ears especially seemed to be troublesome and it noticeably distracted her a few times. As she and her team ease into the show, it’ll continue to grow into a smooth and brilliant experience. The setlist is nearly flawless, she looks incredible, the visuals are stunning, and the presentation has finally abandoned the tired “themed acts” approach to make way for something more dynamic and exciting.

  32. She looks happy and nothing looks forced or cringey. Maybe her best tour since Sticky and Sweet
    4 points
  33. omg it's exciting that she's paying the audience $250 each, like a TV show/movie would instead of a regular concert being recorded. I guess they will have to be super excited and clappy throughout. Love that concept, a concert date specifically made for recording, not the live aspect (as in.. "should we redo it? was that a good shot?" i have no clue!)

  34. So anyway, if you just joined us, Madonna is reminding us why she's the greatest popstar that ever lived

  37. SAG released an incredible statement supporting Taylor. Has nothing to do with Oscar races. Has everything with Gaga’s notorious history on canceling or delaying projects.
