Well deserved especially with all the Chromatica promo she’s been doing lately. She deserves a break.

Just making this thread because I see a lot of childish drama everywhere after BloodPop said Gaga cancelled her original plans about the album once he told her the music 'wasn't her'. I mean as much as I love DJWS, it's quite funny to see Gaga asked DJWS and his team to work on ASIB telling him specifically not to sound like Lady Gaga. And we all were telling that The Cure (the last song he, Mark Nilan and Nick Monson produced for her) didn't sound like a Gaga song... I understand you may be disappointed about the fact your fave producer is not on her new album but let's not pretend Chromatica is not amazingly executed. The producers who worked on this are ****ing talented and BloodPop is such a good and supporting friend for her. Just my opinion but I'm very very fine with the final LG6 we got. I'm very happy she had the opportunity to make a classic dance music album with great producers such BloodPop, Burns, Axwell, Tchami, Klahr, Madeon, Skrillex, Rami Yacoub, Justin Tranter, Max Martin (and Boys Noize and SOPHIE in some capacity, still hoping we'll get some of their songs). Closing my point by saying the BloodPop hate coming from Monsters seems quite off knowing everything Gaga said yesterday about how supporting and important he has been in healing her depression the last few years.

    WHOS THAT GIRL, MALIBU GAGA

I mean.... Where do I start with this shite... There’s a lot that can be said for a Lady Gaga fan. They’re strong minded, passionate, outspoken, but perhaps the one most prevalent trait that severely hinders any chance of a mutually invested relationship between Gaga and the fanbase is entitlement. Lest I forget the ever so infamous “assumptiveness” Today was, from what I recall, the first time Gaga has published any sort of interview/online content in relation to her new album since release day, and it was Gaga excitedly allowing us into little tidbits of the creative process of this fantastic album, set to the beat of Bloodpop’s tailormade mix for the show. Somewhere along the line, some fans got it into their heads that this was where some new tea would be spilled, an announcement would be made, or, early demos would be released. How they managed to arrive at this conclusion is beyond my comprehension, but anyways, I digress x What these fans done, is they basically built an idea in their head. “This is what the show will be, this is how it’s gonna go, because it has to, right?” They couldn’t grasp the fact that it was simply a discussion between Gaga and her producers, of course they had to find a reason that would satisfy themselves as to why she would do this show, or else it’s just simply not worth it. “F**k you Gaga for putting out content because it’s not the content I want.” But the real kick for me, is the Bloodpop slander. Which seems to have come on all of a sudden. When Joanne was released in 2016, it’s safe to say the reception to that project was tepid at best. Bloodpop was hailed for his work on the album, specifically highlighting Dancin’ In Circles as a fan favourite. When he was working on his EP in 2017, many thought he was gonna have Gaga featured, which created excitement, once it was discovered that he was helming the production on the entire Lg6 record, fan hype roared. The fanbase was excited, Gaga’s vocals on an up and coming producer’s work, theories on sound and how Gaga could push him to achieve the best sound began to mount Fast forward to now, 2020. Chromatica drops May 2020, fans are absolutely revelling in the glory of this album. Hype is surreal, everyone is hailing their top five, each fan with a different top five, a testament to the fantastic work on the album. Something happened in the weeks between the album dropping and now. Understandably, there was a lot of frustration at the very prominent silence, especially when you realise the album was released, and left there to carry out its organic shelf life. Fans allowed the events, or lack thereof, of the era to influence their liking for the music. When this radio show premiered today, a section detailed how Gaga played Bloodpop some of the music she was making in 2017-2018, to which Bloodpop expressed his dislike, and encouraged her to dig deeper, and write something with more meaning, more personal to her. Gaga herself even stated that she was almost “going through the motions” in the early 2018 sessions. Fans seen this, and suddenly Bloodpop went from hero to zero, literally in the space of 10 minutes The posts I’ve seen on twitter and in some posts in the threads on this site today are alarming. They range from Bloodpop being a **** producer, to Gaga being a pushover, calling Gaga out for scrapping music that THESE FANS DIDNT EVEN HEAR, because, for some reason, they’ve decided in their own heads that it was better than anything in Chromatica. Let me remind that those sessions were primarily helmed by DJWS, a producer who was also, at one point, the center of a Gaga fanbase fuelled hunt. How can you possibly listen to Gaga talk about how the process of creating this album pulled her out of some of her darkest hours, and **** all over the work just because you suddenly think that Gaga was being controlled and forced to scrap music. Here’s a little lesson in music creativity, sessions exist for a reason, an artist can go through 20 different forms of an album before deciding which sits with what they want to say. Some of you guys are hung up on the early days, and it shows. I struggle to comprehend what exactly it is that hearing that Gaga decided to rework some of the 2018 sessions suddenly makes you think Chromatica was ingenuine, or not up to standard. mind boggling. Anyways. TL;DR - Chromatica is fantastic. Bloodpop done a great job here. Stop the entitlement. Just because you think Chromatica isn’t Gaga’s best work doesn’t mean she’s a pushover, or that it’s ingenuine, or that Gaga is being mine controlled.

She made some points. Jobless people without anything better to do in their miserable life who spend their time on twitter all day long using their mother’s internet connection because they couldn’t afford their own shouldn’t be the ones judging and canceling others. People are to blame for that honestly. Imagine giving someone as miserable the power to cancel someone. Imagine giving that power to twitter kids and teens. Lmao.

MADONNA turns 62 next weekend and now she has another reason to celebrate. I can reveal the queen of pop has left her label Interscope after almost a decade and is poised to sign an eight-figure deal to return to Warner Records — the label which helped her become a superstar in the first 25 years of her career. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/12344862/madonna-quits-record-label-interscope/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebarweb

To be truly honest when I see some 'fans' reactions lately I understand why she has decided not interacting with us anymore. Some fans really should study the lyrics of this song more carefully sometimes

I mean, I agree with everything you said. But to put it bluntly: Lady Gaga literally talked about wanting to kill herself due to severe depression, and instead of showing empathy, many of her fans complained about the contents of the interview and started harassing BloodPop on Twitter. Y'all are not fans. You're bullies. Period.

Some fans weren't too pleased with the addition of the Kylie Jenner to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion "WAP" music video, as they've launched a petition to remove her from the video, since it dropped Thursday. https://www.change.org/p/megan-hotties-remove-kylie-jenner-from-wap-video The Change.org petition has reached more than 46,000 of 50,000 signatures, stating: 'The video was perfect until we saw K and I wanted to throw my phone.' One person commented: 'I was happily enjoying my daily cup of brown women until that culture stealing colonizer showed up and made me spill. Thankyou' It comes amid several memes throwing shade at the appearance, as many are unhappy with a white woman pulling focus during an iconic Black collab. But Cardi herself came to the defense of the Kylie. Although she didn't directly mention Jenner, she posted to Twitter:

Cardi was the bigger person when asked about rap influences growing up. She doesn’t say her name but says there was one female rapper who "did pretty good" and "dominated for a long time" and she even went on to say "she’s still dominating" Maturity. We love to see it

Hi everyone! Decided to make a whole thread on this for the sake of body positivity/lack of representation etc. Also not sure if this is NSFW but...it's literally underwear and a body positivity post and I'm not showing my ass... So my Chromatica jockstrap came in. Tbh I didn't expect a really high quality jockstrap and the quality is a little below average I'd say. It's difficult to find nice fitting comfy jockstraps when you don't have a flat tummy or are plus size to begin with but yeah the main strap could've been made thicker. I'm a size Large in underwear and got this in a size Large. It technically fits, like it's not tight at all...it just could've been a bit longer in height/with a wider/thicker band. Also the Chromatica symbols printed a bit cut off. Look at how cute I look regardless though: <3

Cancel culture does not exist. Chris Brown is still successful, Jeffree Star is a millionaire with thousands of fans, Donald Trump is president, Scarlett Johansson is a praised actress, Kanye West is viewed as a genius, etc, etc, etc. Ellen is a millionaire, nothing will happen to her.
