roar has all the numbers and figures, but honestly its completely disposable. its not an indication of a katy perry song, its not indicitive of where she is musically, personally, etc. its a generic ass song that ANYONE can make, and someone already DID! there's nothing aesthetically that fans, the public, or haters can tie to that single era, like "oh hey, remember that roar moment, where she was doing this look a lot" like no, its just another notch on her belt like all of her other number one disposables.

Roar in all aspects of success.

 

Applause was catchy with a mostly great sound, but forgettable to non-monsters. It might be played at a gay bar's throwback night in 20 year, but that's all. It's not a iconic Gaga track to most people, especially not the GP. :/
