Her album done too good and she is at the new level with touring. The charts werent her purpose this era and she actually did amazing there with the album. The charts werent her purpose this era and she actually did amazing there with the album. Outside the Grammy performance I think she didnt do any promo. She was exposed everywhere. she covered tons of magazine covers and she had superbowl etc. she created hype for album without announced released date. Otherwise it would flop harder than 4 The surprise release worked for her. It could have not work, but it did. It was a good markething strategy made by a smart team. Beyonce had to do nothing, while Gaga did performances everywhere between august and december and the results were just ok. She also did a lot of radio promo for GUY and there werent any results. The release strategy just screams charts, and these iTunes banners probably costed more than any of the other girls' promo. She just wasn't in the picture, but she let others do the promo for her. Anyway, the no promo idea bothers me. I respect Gaga bc she spends the money she gets from us on giving us great performances.
