Hedi 3
Is the G.U.Y. intro influenced by A Clockwork Orange's intro? Listen to the chord progression in the first 12 seconds of the instrumental https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTOMqP6aS4E Listen to the chord progression of 0:08 to 0:23 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4J9b2OvNNKs Here is the actual A Clockwork Orange opening scene vimeo.com/49553745Some fun facts - The Bad Romance opening scene is based on A Clockwork Orange's opening zoom-shot - Gaga used ''Music For The funeral of Queen Mary'' in her live mixes in The Fame era DJVH1 version https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=v9nKDYbLiEE Space Cowboy version (starts @ 0:11) https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=DubwcvP3Xug - Gaga references Kubrick in Dance In The Dark with: "Find your Jesus, find your Kubrick". - Kubrick was the last person to shoot at Hearst Castle before her [one of the only people who shot there] Gaga putting art in pop? erfaan 2,528
They do sound alike! However i doubt that could be direct influence since she didn't even know she was filming at hearst castle when writing the song. But you never know Gaga, she is influenced by what we least expect

But you never know Gaga, she is influenced by what we least expect My implication is that it could be her dream to shoot there because of her love of Kubrick is what I mean H Her love of Kubrick could be why she did the intro is my implication
