Well, the youtube views counts now.

 

But more importantly, it will pick up more on radio. Applause did so well because a lot of people heard it. The same thing could easily happen with DWUW.

 

As much as awards shows are nice, they aren't radio. Maybe the Grammy's help a lot.

The only thing that hurt DWUW was the last minute single change. Venus would've been planned out and had the video on time, but the song's a toss up of either flopping hard or smashing. Being the second single might've given it more of a chance of smashing, but we don't know.

 

DWUW, no matter it's chart placement, is loved by almost everyone. Any hate for the song is online, people in real life love the song, and that's good for Gaga no matter what. And even if it doesn't peak any higher, it's a Top 15 hit, are we really complaining about that?

 

It's an amazing song, and it's not over yet. It will be over when she announces the next single.
