That J 12,166 Posted January 3, 2014 Share Posted January 3, 2014 The Grammys really haven't been the full representation of great music that it should be since the late '90s and it's a shame. They have jumped on the popularity bandwagon in order to score ratings when it's not about ratings, it's about what's best in the art of music. The Oscars have done a good job of maintaining their merit with nominating films and actors alot of people haven't heard of. Regardless, I do feel APPLAUSE should've at least been nominated for Best Pop Female Vocal. The vocal performance on the verses alone deserves recognition. We, are sadly, now the underdogs.
