Sylvanas 5,768 Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 I feel like Born This Way was a high-contrast album, in that the good songs were extremely good but the bad songs were extremely bad, whereas ARTPOP didn't take too many risks but we ended up with a kind of boring, "it's okay" album. Some Songs on ARTPOP are overproduced (Aura, MANiCURE, Mary Jane Holland), don"t get me wrong I like ARTPOP but I think Lady Gaga wanted to make ARTPOP perfect.
