Studdy 0 Posted November 4, 2013 Share Posted November 4, 2013 My only worry about ARTPOP's initial reviews... is that this album cannot be listened to once through and then be critically decided on... It's taken me a handful of listens for it to start to make complete sense! I absolutely love it, but it's not quite as easily digestible as some other pop releases this year (which I suppose is a double edged sword...) There's a limit to how effusive a professional reviewer is going to get. He gives her a lot of credit, including for her ambition with this album, and is critiquing her against a high standard.
