It's only two minutes shorter than the standard edition of Born This Way. Eleven minutes longer than the standard version of Prism (two minutes shorter than the deluxe.) I'm happy with this, especially if we get new songs through the app.

It really isn't about the length but the quality.  I would much prefer a 3 minute track of perfection than a mediocre 5 minute track like some of those on BTW.

Oh for sure! It has super short songs. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to correct you, I just... There are so many different versions of The Fame tbh.

It kills me that the entire length is 59mins and 4 seconds

She needs to lengthen the songs a tiny bit to make it 60mins, maybe it's OCD I don't know

I'm sort of disappointed in the track lengths, but it might just be because I'm super OCD about songs and such on an album. Things that bug me are: similar track lengths, transitioning from fast to slow to fast to slow to fast etc songs on an album (Katy's "One Of the Boys" album is a prime example) + shorter songs. 

 

Born This Way was my favorite. It featured only 4 tracks within the 3:59 or under mark. I love tracks in the 4 minute range, and a few ballads within 5 minutes. 6 minutes and more bugs me (Example, I HAD to split up Love Without Tragedy / Mother Mary by Rihanna) and I can never get through Justin Timberlake's albums... 

 

I'm excited for the album nonetheless, I just wish the tracks would have had a few more seconds added to them.
