Well, her s-xualisation of the burqa for one. Not exactly racist, but it still shouldn't be tolerated.

And G**** references a racial slur throughout the entire song. It's a racist song and it's the only song by Gaga that I've actually deleted from my iTunes.

They’re right. Gypsy isn’t perceived as a slur here.

There is a neighborhood near my apartment that has “Gypsy†themed street names.

Eg. Gypsy Bell, Gypsy View, Gypsy Hollow.

The city would have never approved those names if they were the slightest bit controversial.

I will not say anyone who is offended by "Gypsy" is wrong, but I do not agree.

I think use of certain words should be weighed with their intent. The word gypsy, to most, implies a traveling group of people. No other word works.

"I'm I'm I'm, I'm I'm I'm, a person who travels all over the world, belonging to no land but where I stand."

For example, in the privacy of my home, if I say to my spouse, "my *N word*," do I have any racial intent? I think we should be allowed to use some words, if our INTENT is not racial at all.

I know some will not agree, but by using burqa, for example, to me, it is empowering and sheds light on the somewhat taboo topic.

Her intent is worldly.. her intent is art. Her intent is NOT to target or negativity showcase any certain group.

I'm sorry if you are offended, but can we agree that her intentions are good? Once you accept that, I hope you can enjoy these songs and Gaga.
