It was foolish of her to tweet that link. If someone like Katy Perry or Nicki Minaj tweeted a link to a playlist of a single song to just hit play and leave, you all would be going crazy, saying how desperate and 'floppy' they are. Disappointed that she did that tbh--and ill give her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't check the link, but still, you are tweeting a link to 40 MILLION people--like check it thoroughly.

It's easy to make mistakes. She's tweeted unretouched PHOTOS before so accidentally retweeting a bad link is not that unlikely. If she was on mobile as well, there's no point in checking links because it usually redirects you to a different page.

He's been praising her in general, and now he suddenly wants to be an asshole to her? That doesn't make sense to me. I realize that a lot of people are hard on Gaga, much harder than they should be, but it makes us (and Gaga) look ridiculous when we instantly pounce on anyone who says anything remotely negative about anything even related to her.

He probably just learned about the first tweet, didn't know it was a mistake, and tweeted he was disappointed. Then he clarified that he gives her the benefit of the doubt about it being a mistake. He just wants people to know not to resort to silly tricks and bots, etc, to try and get their fav to #1.

Nah, him and his team have ruined Billboard and are responsible for all of the technical problems they have. Nevermind the fact they made a huge deal out of Amazon for BTW and embarrassed her then too.

How about they talk about Katy Perry's discounts or 10 second snippets being counted as streams instead?

What if all the fans ACTUALLY sat down and watched the video 150 times?? Billboard doesn't know that! They can't strip views if they don't know the intentions of the viewer.. What are they gonna do, interview the millions of people who watched it?

Plus, Gaga tweeting that was just like her saying "Hey Monsters! If you have a few hours to spare, watch Applause 150 times! :) -insert link here-"

It's no different than her tweeting the video link or iTunes download link. It's cAlled PROMO, and since when was that illegal? It's a playlist too!! There's nothing wrong or bad about a playlist. If youtube doesn't like that, then they should have made it that you can't put the same video more than once on a playlist..
