Yep, I think the point is well made. Gaga could mix it up a bit more, but ... her songs are structured to build up to her going BOOOMMM, and that's because she has one of the most beautiful booms ever in RnR.

Madonna plays to her own strengths and gets into the groove. Meanwhile Taylor sings Twinkil Twinkil Liddel Star on a loop.

maybe it’s also the lack of (life) experience compared to someone as Madonna? (gaga had her own struggles and traumas and good moments ofc, but it’s no secret that Madonna has lived 50 lives til now and has always reinvited herself in every way, not just album cycle to album cycle)

Maybe! I’m not saying Gaga is confined by anyone to make the album cuts she does, she’s even said she likes her album tracks this way. I’m just very curious why she does that when she’s shown to be very musically adventurous. My best guess is she wants to give herself space to one up the album recording in a live setting

Stuart Price could make Chromatica, but Bloodpop could never do Confessions II.

An Artist is such as good as the producers that surround her.

Gaga's past Co-Producers were far more experimental with song structures on TFM, BTW & ARTPOP

I feel like she might have done something more experimental instead of MAYHEM but she decided to do a gift to fans before she does other stuff she doesn't know if we will like

I think her next projects will be exploring new styles for sure

This is true and I am glad that Gaga lets her voice shine on her songs and obviously Madonna is not really able to do that (as in loud and passionate vocals where she can play with her voice the closest she has with that is Ray Of Light) but I do wish Gaga would step back a bit and let the instrumental take over sometimes or tone it down slightly because she has a tendency to over sing now where it overpowers the song I think Lovedrug is a good example of the perfect balance where both work and one does not overpower the other and Disease works because her matches the production. There are a few examples of her letting the production shine though (The Queen, Highway Unicorn, The Edge Of Glory, Paper Gangsta, You And I, Electric Chapel) and I wish she would do that more or at least find more of a balance.

This and it's one of the reasons why I don't like MAYHEM so much. She used to put more balance into the songs/albums. It's tiring to hear everything back-to-back when almost every song has a big belting chorus.
