DESTROY UR DISEASE

This song by Gaga and Elton from that one movie with gnomes was so good. Idk why it’s not on streaming services :

Funny thing but when I was little I loved that movie and I've watched it like a dozen of times at least. Imagine my reaction when little me found out that it was Gaga herself singing this song, the exact same Gaga that sang Bad Romance (since that was the only song of hers that I knew at that time). For some reason I thought she totally didn't sound like herself and it was way too much for me to comprehend :ladyhaha:

I wonder how Taylor will act in her 40s. She’s obviously really afraid of getting older. The older she gets, the more she regresses. This obsession with trying to renew her fan base and trying to appeal to children reeks of insecurity.

She's really after the Oscar for Best Song written for a motion picture. Hopefully she doesn't get it.

The way she’s going bAcK to hER coUnTrY roOtS makes me think it’s going to be such an Oscar bait song.

Considering that all the Toy Story movies had a best original song Oscar nomination (the third one won it), this is definitely her intention. She's been trying and failing since 2010 to do this. The songs for The Hunger Games and 50 Shades of Grey wasn't enough. Collabing with Andrew Lloyd Webber for Cats wasn't enough. Making a lyrically rich Appalachian folk song for Where The Crawdads Sing wasn't enough. That's not even including the non-Oscar bait movies in between. She even said "Hollywood hates me" on Elizabeth Taylor most recently. You don't say a line like that and then accept the chance to write songs for a franchise with many Oscar nominated songs. I only hope she keeps on getting snubbed. I like how the movie industry has no time for her BS and realises she's winning enough in music and doesn't need an Oscar as well. If there's one thing I can be sure of it's that Taylor will never become an EGOT because the Oscars and Tonys won't ever entertain her.

She’s gonna win all of the soundtrack awards isnt she

Not necessarily... This isn't the first time she's done soundtracks and most of them weren't even nominated for a single award

Ok but Carolina and Safe and Sound are top-tier soundtrack nominees. They're both so good

She won't win an Oscar. Despite how pretentious the Academy can be, they have more taste than the Grammys and aren't comprised of Disney Channel adults. Unfortunately, this doesn't bode well for Tayble.
