Tbf it didn’t do much with them jsut had them there in those pepto pink outfits playing instruments like the muses. So I think the execution of their presence just felt odd

Only good thing of the video was the ARTPOP intro (should have been whole song) and the costume with the gun scene. Thats it. Venus part was hideous (Venus deserved her own video) and the guests was the worst part. Omg her mind at the time

I'm so so shocked at how many people don't like the G.U.Y video.....I've always loved it!

8 million dollars well spent, I'd say! 

Gaga looks arguably the most gorgeous she ever did on video - shaking her bum in a 60 inch weave and in her best Donatella Versace cosplay. GLAM! Then all the cameos of the Real Housewives and Andy Cohen?! POP CULTURE! Gaga's important influential figures rising from the grave via Minecraft magic?! CAMP! The little narrative in the mv about cloning hot sexy men?! FUN!!!

She does look fantastic in the video... but there's just way too much going on (imo)... the only thing it's missing is the kitchen sink.

I think it needed to be streamlined for more impact.

Personally, I would have focused more on the office building segment, where she arguably looks the best & tells the most compelling story/vignette within the video

The G.U.Y video is ARTPOP maximalism!!

However I do agree, the office scene is one of the best and could've been expanded in some way - if only to capture more scenes of Gags in her nine-inch heels and severe Cruella-esque fit! 

Buuut, after all the simplistic, but effective, MAYHEM videos we've been given recently... I crave a Gaga video full of maximalism and chaos! Please Gaga, assault my senses!!!

IF we're blessed with a final MAYHEM video, I doubt that it will be an explosion of G.U.Y-level proportions....especially, if it's VIY... Garden of Eden? Definitely potential for a spectacular gothic dream there, but unfortunately I think that ship has long sailed.

I love a lot of this video, but I can't get behind the Andy Cohen sun, housewives pretending to play instruments, and Minecraft.

Honestly, it doesn’t surprise me, but I don’t remember who was in charge to allow such a waste of money on a video that had potential, yet was poorly executed and even comes across as superficial. I think it lacked a proper concept, a connecting thread to carry the story forward. If it had had that, I believe the result would have been different.
