I don’t know who the hell decided to release This Is How We Do instead of Legendary Lovers.

It could’ve marked a turn in her artistry, towards more mature music (which was initially teased for PRISM.)

Maybe they didn't go with LL because they already had an Egptian-themed song and music video with Dark Horse which was very successfull. LL also has that ancient Egyptian-inspired sound, especially in the beginning, so they had to chose a different direction, sound- and theme-wise.
