Tbh even Adele can be put in this same category.

I personally don’t like personal love/breakup songs

BOG for example, it’s a cheesy song, I still listen to it because it grew on me.. but the lyrics are total brainrot.

And like imagine they breakup?

J.Low did 2 songs about Ben just to breakup with him later lol

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

This is just similiar stuffs with that annoying guy from Maroon 5 trying to shade Gaga back in ARTPOP era. We shouldn't be OK with it, regardless your stance against Taylor Swift. What it said to me are the men just feels women made art, especially in pop verse, is not superior and deserve to be talked down like that, that's all.

Points made. Thanks for posting this!

:worship2: @Roughhouse Dandy for the winning, levelheaded take.

It's still an odd perspective to have as an artist. You'd think someone who loves blues rock as much as he would at least try to write about personal things. It's integral to the origin of blues as a genre.

But if he's not a very nice guy in real life, re: abuse allegations, I can't blame him for not wanting to face his demons and confess them to the world in song. :trollga:
