That’s not proof of anything. Believe it or not not every woman mourns an abortion. Or they are dealing with it by using humor.

you don't know that

human embryos are all female-default. dead babies can also have a given name and assigned gender, so referring them as ‘it’ is 100% tone-deaf.

It's not a baby yet:Cautious:

""It" is the standard, objective pronoun used in medical settings, particularly early in development, because the embryo is often seen as a developing organism rather than a person with established identity.""

If you don't know the gender then you use "it" or "the embryo" "the fetus".

You are confusing clinical terminology with ordinary speech. Doctors might say “it” in a report; people talking about their child usually don’t.

Language changes with context- rather basic stuff, really.

I gave both examples

when u don’t know the gender, it’s fine to refer to the embryo or the fetus as “it”

Saying "it's fine to call it 'it'" doesn't mean it's the only reasonable wording. When the sex of a human is unknown, people commonly say "they."

Acting as though "it" is the correct pronoun for a human embryo is simply your preference, not a rule.

The girl in the video Zara is responding to literally called her aborted fetus “it” lol. As much as this whole exchange gave me a little bit of the ick, it’s kind of obvious that the woman who had the abortion was making light of it.

Being that offended on everything will get you chronically depressed and outrageously furious. Step into the "I give 0 ****s" side, your life will be better

And you do? Why is it ok for you to make the assumption that no precautions were taken?

I mean, an embryo is not a "human" yet, it's not he or she or them, it's a "it", when the mother knows the gender, then she can choose to assign a pronounce to it.

Also, people can say wtf they want without someone unrelated being offended or over analyze them.. zara didn't do say anything wrong..

this whole thing that people are finding something to be offended by at all cost is oh so tiring.

like have fun, it's supposed to be a funny / ick / cringe respond to a trend on social media..

I mean this whole convo is just so tone-deaf from the very start! Someone tell a bitch to use a condom next time :Cautious:
