Gohan 16,777
As PartySick stated, this is a trend actually so I doubt that gurl was actually pregnant but anyway I didn't know she had that she's so crazzzy i luv her persona or if she's just very young, reminds me of shadyGa in her pre-ARTPOP era even if it offends some lol Such a touchy subject anyway, insensitive to some, funny for others. I'ma respond to this with grace and assume you've spoken due to a lack of knowledge. Neither condoms or birth control are 100% active. Birth control methods like the pill etc all have potential health complications that mean not all women can use them. Every close cis-female friend I have has had issues with at least one form of medical birth control. The typical/average use efficacy of condoms is 82-87%. That means there's as much as a 2 in 10 failure rate. You are also relying on the other partner not removing the condom (which is a growing issue we're seeing) and the condom not breaking. And even then, people often forget that just because you used a condom during penetration doesn't mean you are safe in situations where the man has pulled out, removed the condom and shot his load over you as a semen that makes contact with the vagina can potentially make the trip. The average efficacy for birth control pills is 91-93%. The pill takes up to 7 day's doses to become active and if you miss a dose the medical advice is that it can then take another 7 days before it returns to full activity within the body. Other medications & supplements decrease the efficacy of the pill as well. No birth control method is 100% effective and this concept of blame and stigma towards women who have accidental pregnancies is outdated, not grounded in scientific knowledge and ultimately misogynistic. The person taking them is responsible for that. Yes, I’m aware condoms can fail too, but most of my post was really about people talking about abortion like it’s a joke. Yup, I’ll stigmatize women or anyone who joke about abortion. Truly disgusting behaviour. trolly troll troll

Here's the thing that 99% efficacy is based proper daily adherence at the same time but also includes numerous other factors including: Storage conditions, other medications, body weight, hormonal levels, illness while taking the medication. All of this is why the lower stat I provided is used by healthcare professionals to discuss the actual efficacy in effect. Because the % of people who maintain perfect adherence to medication outside of drug trials is low. Condoms are also 99% effective if used correctly, PrEP is as well. But the average efficacy in practice is lower because perfect adherence is not possible for everyone for a variety of reasons. 22 minutes ago, gumzy3000 said: Yup, I’ll stigmatize women or anyone who joke about abortion. Truly disgusting behaviour. Are you going to stigmatize cancer patients who make jokes about cancer? Are you going to stimatize minorities who make jokes about bigotry they are at risk of? Stigmatizing abortion in anyway shape or form is harmful to women who need one. This is just a tiktok meme, its a bit crass but that's just how humour is these days. But the reality is, that you made a misogynsitic judgement about the poster of the meme assuming she was a slut who ****ed up. If that abortion was real, you have zero context of the circumstances which led to the unwanted pregnancy or the reason for the termination. And simply because the woman decided to be light hearted about it rather than beat the everloving **** out of herself mentally, you've gone on the attack. So one final question -if that abortion were real, and the unwanted pregnancy was as a result of a sexual assault - would you still be attacking the woman for making light of the situation? Your first point countering the 99% claim is fair, I understand. Your second point is more subjective. A cancer patient joking about their situation can be traumatic for another person and just comes across as insensitive. This abortion joke was in the same vein to me. People are allowed to cope with life’s trials in their own ways but that doesn’t mean everyone is going to be okay with that. Someone’s humour can be another persons trauma. Maybe saying I’ll stigmatize people joking about abortion was harsh but personally I find it trashy. You can disagree with me here, but I won’t ever find jokes about abortion funny. I know women who needed to do it and it’s a painful memory. trolly troll troll

I'm epileptic because I have a brain malformation. What do you want? For me to live crying and making people feel sorry for me? Not at all, I take it with a lot of dark humor, like the good-natured malformed person I am 😂 I usually tell my parents that it's obvious they made me without any enthusiasm, and they laugh 😂 If other people take it badly, or this way of dealing with MY CONDITION makes them feel bad, it's not my fault, they just shouldn't be in my circle. I'm not God to worry about every person with a condition.

Abortion should be used as a last resort and not taken lightly. You’re killing a fertilized egg that has almost a 100% chance in becoming a fully grown human being. In this day and age, there is no excuse for someone in a first world country to not use condoms or birth control pills. Why is all the blame on the gal?! Well guess what, contraception doesn't always work out :p and also what if she did everything right but the condom popped? What if the bf took it off in-between? There's so many what ifs and you're blaming the girl for getting an unwanted pregnancy? In 2026? Now that's disgusting. Besides, getting an abortion, when they don't feel ready to have children? The ultimate maturity! And its a joke, People can joke about traumatising ****.
